Top Rated Highfive Alternatives

The interface, and the fantastic abilities of the sales team to demonstrate the product features. Together we moved conference calls between laptops, wall monitors, Iphone - simply amazing. No lag time seen, just awesome functionality. The sales guys get a "10". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No question, it's the contract. Basically every new customer has no substantive idea what constitutes a contract breach by HighFive. Customers need this to have a legal basis to ask for their money back. HighFive want 12 months paid in advance. It's entirely possible that the customer must invest their valuable time trying to claw this money back if the customer doesn't like the service after day 31, or 32. None of this really matters if you are ok with just writing off the money from the get-go, and say "service levels be damned, I'm going to pay for this product for a year come what may". At $99 / month it's not really the money, it's the principle that "we are so good you will never ask for money back" - wrong. I would be giving up $99 x 12 = approx $1,200. At the higher levels of monthly cost I can only assume this same contract agreement exists. Now you're talking about $329 x 12. One would have attempt to claw back nearly $4,000 with this "get-out-jail-free" contract. Good luck trying to get that back from a very new firm, where you have no idea if they pick up the customer service phone consistently or not. Another item in their contract attempts to compare Highfive responsiveness and quality to "companies like us". Really? I can pick any firm I think is "just like you", and that satisfies my dissatisfaction argument and you'll refund me? C,mon, get real. Kudos to the legal team for having the *additional* bold confidence and bravery to provide a feedback email address to the legal team regarding your thoughts on their contract. I used it to share what I have entered here. No response after a couple of weeks, 6/15/17. There are worse contracts on the planet, and these guys are doing a great job trying to disrupt the conferencing market. It's the lawyers tails wagging the dog in tech companies where you everyone gets unhappy at some point. HighFive (like Vonage) should focus on: no contract (or very minimal), discounts for yearly payments, full pro-rated money back for any dissatisfaction whatsoever, provide a rapid pre-paid return for the hardware in the event of cancellation. Create a separate CC or invoice charge for the hardware, and write it off after 6 months of successful customer use - if you get that far. Even at the basic level there's no way HighFive is paying $600 for this unit - the amount of service paid for. I see there are plenty of people who have issues with Highfive video service, it's the nature of the technology given all of the moving bits - so provide an app that validates where the problem is or don't be in the business of selling video hardware and services. You just created a video service, now create an app that validates it! I say the same thing to every VOIP phone company that tried to sell me their services. After two dozen I found one that at least had the minimum debugging tech skills I liked - BEFORE I was a customer. Guess what, I haven't needed to validate their service from the customer end, because they already did. I view G2CROWD as the Consumer's Reports for IT services. We can schedule meetings and add the Highfive link to the meeting invite. We like the features like we can share the screen, see the video of each other, share the document, chat during the meeting, and many more features of this tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes Highfive gets disconnected after 40 minutes of the meeting, and we have to restart the session, which is inefficient. It is nice to have continuous meetings. This may have been fixed already, and I am not aware of it yet, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Highfive is easy to use and allows me to connect with my coworkers on a regular basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the number of options available, like backgrounds and other things that allow you to hide your background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that it offers the possibility of having the videoconferences recorded and stored in the cloud, so it does not occupy expansion on the PC, achieving a more efficient and practical administration, it is a very effective tool to conduct videoconferences in a fast and dynamic way, with high definition and excellent audio. It has a group limit, that is, when more than 90 people connect, it becomes extremely slow, it tends to pause or stick the audio or video, sometimes it has lost, it has lost the video conference if there are many participants, that is something that greatly affects its use and effectiveness. Highfive provide the online audio and video conference meetings, chatting and proper conference meetings scheduling with all of our coworkers. It allow us to create multiple collaboration groups to share the projects ideas. By sharing files and documents on video conference is the good way to organize our work. It's pretty easy to deploy and store & share any kind of file document in the video conference teams. We can easily set up the video conference channels for all of our different communication tasks. With Highfive software, when I'm connecting myself with multiple people in a group conference calls then at any time it became absurdly slow and shows errors while joining the conferences through links. Hence, messages are also not quickly send over and our video became completely blur. So, it is not quite useful in real-time collaboration and communication with team members based on huge participants and even for groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Highfive's ease of use and intuitive interface deserve special mention. Some videoconferencing tools end up getting lost in the midst of so many features, but Highfive doesn't do that, it's simple and tasks like sending invitations, muting participants, broadcasting options etc are well labeled and easily accessible, thus facilitating the work of moderators and video call participants. Unfortunately Highfive does not work very well with weaker or unstable internet connections which sometimes results in lags, especially when the user uses mobile internet provided by some telephone company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Highfive provides a great user experience. I think it has truly established itself as one of the premiere video conferencing solutions. The camera''s provide a great picture while the speakers. Almost all my meetings are now done via Highfive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can only think of one and it is the ssl process was a bear the first couple of times but we've got it down now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Highfive is wonderful for your colleagues in other spaces when you need to have a meeting with them. If both teams can not be physically together in the same place, they can even use HighFive and establish communication. It has a very friendly interface for videoconferencing, recording and linking members worldwide for cooperation. It provides a great quality of audio and video. Sometimes, the voice in the calls sounds repetitive when I use it for mobile communication. This is very frustrating and I would like it to be solved, as I think every HighFive platform in my company has these problems. Also, it does not have Linux version. I frequently use it only on MacOS to take HighFive contacts and I consider it to be very annoying because I am obligated to reboot MacOS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Highfive is well marked and easy to understand, without having to read or engage in extensive training courses online. You also have the option to record the meeting if you want to. The Highfive quality in audio and video is quite good, although minimum hardware needed to run it. Also, there is a Chrome HighFive plugin available, which allows me to use the app from the browser, and it's just great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Due to the location of our company, the internet connection isn't that strong and Highfive does not offer options for slow connections. However, we understand this problem is more related to us than to Highfive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Highfive is excellent to communicate with distant peers and provide the opportunity to share views and displays. The reliability of audio and video is great, as long as you have a good internet connection. It has an intuitive and versatile design, that is visually appealing and has strong display indications. We have seldom had problems with connectivity, as Highfive consumes a lot of broadband. Occasionally, Highfive can delay or slow down if the Web is sluggish for you or one of the participants. I would like it to be more convenient when I needed to make a telephone call. When it comes to pricing, monthly prices are high and plans change regularly, from the visitor point of view. In order to make it more accesible for most companies, these prices need to decrease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
