Very robust and can be simplified for what your hotel needs specifically **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024 **What do you like best about HIA Accounting & ERP?** My hotel accounting team uses it and loves it with 30+ hotels. Takes time but they are so much more efficient and owners enjoy the clarity and dashboards for performance. Love that it is all online without downloading software, great imports with API connection to multiple platforms, very robust, multiple screens for reviewing activity. Use marking "favorites" for all activities and items I use weekly and daily so that I don't have to navigate throughout the system. This makes it very quick to find and complete tasks. It's as if you are taking a very robust and comprehensive accounting platform and setting it up to be simple to use for weekly and monthly tasks. It removes any overwhelm. The search button is very helpful for finding everything from vendors to GL detail. The ability to export and import is amazing and exports exactly what you have on screen making sending and reviewing in Excel so simple and easy. This is a must for any accounting team. **What do you dislike about HIA Accounting & ERP?** It can be confusing with all of the options and with how robust the platform and software is. You do need to spend a good amount of time documenting your processes or saving what you use to become efficient. Like all software you need the reps to build the habit of where to find what you are looking to accomplish. Writing reports can be challenging so sticking with the defaults provided is very recommended. **What problems is HIA Accounting & ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ability to connect with multiple software and export data that is usable and easy to follow for non-accountants. I want software that hotel owners and managers can review at a glance via a dashboard or simple report to see how their hotel is performing. This is helpful whether it be a focused service or robust full-service property. A hotel accounting software is only as good as the operators in how they can make the best decisions for their hotel. ### 2. As I used the system more and more, I really enjoy all of the shortcuts that are built-in to the system as well. I appreciate that any recommendations I have for improvements to the platform are taken seriously and I can actually have a conversation with a real person about them.
