**What do you like best about HeyOrca?**

I liked that it consolidated our scheduling into one place. Another thing I like about HeyOrca over Sprout is that you can pick the same media files if you're using them for different platforms.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

I did not like the content approval/review format. It felt a little stiff and clunky to put comments in the side panel, vs. being able to edit the caption or content itself.

**What problems is HeyOrca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed our consultant agency to create content and posts and have our internal team review them. It also helped gather and create monthly reports for our social media evaluation.

The customer support are fantastic and they always keep you up to date with the latest or upcoming features.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

Custom reports would be helpful or the ability to merge your FB, LinkedIn and Instagram report into one report for example.

**What problems is HeyOrca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving the customer full visibility with the calendar view. As well as giving us the ability to have internal and external commenting features.

I like that you can easily see all of your scheduled posts and what platform they're on. That way I can easily tell if I'm missing anything.

The graphics are a little outdated but that doesn't effect my experience.

It makes it so easy to send social content to our client to review. That is invaluable to us at our small agency!

I appreciate how easy it is to multi-post to platforms. I also love the media library and appreciate how responsive the team is when help is needed.

I can't think of anything that I don't like. I'm waiting for the option of adding music to reels in HeyOrca.

**What do you like best about HeyOrca?**

The client sign-off process and the fact that clients have their own login and reminders. It makes them feel in control and enables large teams to contribute and feel included whilst offering the security of a sign-off process.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

The media library is a little clunky. The filters aren't that great and you can't batch select and delete old content. Reporting stats aren't overly slick/detailed and I would really really like to be able to manage conversations and engagements through hey orca as I am in danger of missing things. It would also be awesome if you could give suggested content / links for each account to share (linked in offers suggested content on the platform - which I can't schedule through hey orca and have to do directly).

Being organised, having a process and enabling me to be focused and manage my time and show clients productivity. Clients who proactively use the approval process + calendar view have been really happy.

**What do you like best about HeyOrca?**

The team at HeyOrca has been so courteous, responsive, and helpful from the very start. Our team used to utilize a different system but we kept trying to plug holes in features that we needed in order to collaborate within our 12 member team and our clients. Now we don't! We love all the features HeyOrca provides, and their support team has been tremendous about incorporating suggestions and improvements pir team has provided. We're able to grow and scale our subscription as our agency grows, and we're looking forward to being part of the "Pod" for quite a while!

The only pause we had in onboarding with HeyOrca was the price, but it has been worth every penny!

  ### 8. A great tool for agencies and communities to manage their social media marketing

**What do you like best about HeyOrca?**

I love the approvals workflow which allows us to have full control over users being able to create, review and publish while also involving external stakeholders who may need to sign off before things are published.

It's also great that we can create sources for external platforms so that the team know something has to go out for example by email, as well as by social, and that we can add events to the calendar to give the team a heads-up for things that they need to be aware of.

Having unlimited users is a real game changer for us - it has really opened up the ability to have folks who can contribute from our open source community to creating content for social media, while also retaining the control over QA and reviewing before publishing.

The Instagram features are great, we heavily use the bio feature and our communify find it really helpful to access links quickly on the grid layout. The hashtag library saves us a lot of time, allowing us to curate specific hashtag lists for types of posts.

The team are also really open - they do regular update calls you can join, send out really useful resources in their newsletter and take feedback on board when provided.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

The product itself is really missing the engagement side of social media management which is currently a work in progress, and due to be coming out in beta soon.

Sometimes I find the user interface a tiny bit counterintuitive which I have fed back to the team.

It would be really helpful if there was more on the mobile app than just Instagram and TikTok to keep up with things on the move, but it is better than nothing!

**Recommendations to others considering HeyOrca:**

Definitely take up the opportunity to have a trial of the software and take it for a spin!

**What problems is HeyOrca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our primary challenges were having the ability to create a robust approvals workflow, and being able to include more people in the creation of content.

Also, involving external stakeholders in the reviewing process is also really helpful - we used to have to do that with a bunch of annoying spreadsheets! - and I like the way that it works with HeyOrca - it's simple and fuss-free.

Most beneficial financially for those managing more than one calendar. Still a good price considering all that I can do with it, great features, and easy for me to use.

The webinars they offer are wonderful. It's amazing having free tools and resources courtesy of the team to help keep up with the latest in social media trends.

There isn't really anything from HeyOrca that I presently don't like. I appreciate them putting together trending music for Reels and TikToks. I will say, sometimes it feels like I'm on a completely different side of TikTok, so it's nice having them keep a pulse on the trending sounds.

HeyOrca is helping me solve the issue of maintaining timely social media management and trend updates. It allows me to spend more time focusing on the content I want to create for my clients and less time digging for trends to keep my client's social media up-to-date and trendy.

HeyOrca has the best customer service of any company that our agency deals with. Hands down. Their response time is incredibly fast and everyone on their team is knowledgeable and helpful. Plus, they hold free weekly workshops and provide great free resources to their customers.

So far, we have not encountered any downsides to working with HeyOrca. They are on top of all social media trends and implement any necessary changes in a timely and efficient manner.

**What do you like best about HeyOrca?**

HeyOrca is a great program for multiple reviewers. Our Social Media agency designs and schedules the posts, and we have the ability to individually go in, under our own user names, and request edits and changes to the post while communicating in a chat-like platform.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

It would be nice to have the ability to request date changes to the posts withing the post itself (for example, having a "suggest new day/time" feature) but other than that, this program is very intuitive.

**What problems is HeyOrca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyOrca allows members of our Marketing team to review the social media posts individually, and send the edits to our agency seamlessly without lag time. We get notified in real-time of their edits and can work collaboratively - even though we are not all in the same room.

**What do you like best about HeyOrca?**

The prices are incredibly reasonable and there are features that other platforms don't have. The Instagram link in bio is great. You can also send content to internal and external users for approval and comments.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

The standard analytics are fairly simple. I have to use individual platforms for my metrics reporting. Also, the Instagram bio link currently does not track click metrics.

They are adding Instagram Stories analytics. They are adding posting options for Reels.

**What do you like best about HeyOrca?**

HeyOrca plans charge based on 'Calendars' instead of users, so I like the ability for us to scale our team as needed, and push the costs of additional Calendars onto our clients. It's clear to the clients and gives our team more flexibility.

The calendars themselves help us easily organize all of our content by client and by what is scheduled, drafted, approved, and published. The approval process for clients is quick and easy, which is great for some of our less tech-savvy clientele. Since signing with HeyOrca, they have implemented automatic carousel posts on Instagram, which indicates that their team prioritizes keeping their API up-to-date, which is very important to us.

Most importantly, any issues that we've had have been tended to quickly. Their support team is very responsive. Software is always going to have certain issues or bugs—that's unavoidable. But knowing that their support team is quick to respond and resolve is a definite comfort.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

We have encountered a few bugs that have caused some disruptions to our workflow. HeyOrca's support team has always been very responsive, which I consider to be more important than the specific bugs. 

One such bug did leave a few of our profiles disconnected from the platform, and an unfortunate side effect of that was our clients were unable to preview the upcoming content in the calendar. Even if the content was unable to be published automatically (because it required reauthorization), it would have been nice for us to send the content to the client for approval in the meantime.

**Recommendations to others considering HeyOrca:**

HeyOrca is a great tool for agencies looking to effectively manage their clients' calendars and outgoing content.

**What problems is HeyOrca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HeyOrca allows us to thoughtfully plan, schedule, and automatically publish content on behalf of our clients. As an agency, it's a very useful tool for us. It would be nice for comments and DMs to be filtered through and allow us to respond to them from within HeyOrca, as other platforms do (like Sprout), but it's still a worthwhile tool for us, even without that feature. Hopefully, a feature like that is on the product update roadmap.

If you are an agency and you're looking for a tool to help organize and publish your social media content, HeyOrca is a great option.

  ### 19. The Swiss-Army Knife of Social Tools

**What do you like best about HeyOrca?**

The customer service is always TOP NOTCH. I've never had a problem that their pod wasn't willing to troubleshoot. The platform is also very user friendly, even for my colleagues who are all 55+ who don't have a very comfortable relationship with most technology that's new to them.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

The only downsides in my current use are very small user experience preferences. I don't want to have to click "upload a photo" in the media library, I just want to immediately be able to drag and drop there. Things like that. But any suggestions I've ever made have always been very kindly received-- and much of what I've asked for is t unique to me and is actually already in the works!

**What problems is HeyOrca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team and I love the approval process and ability to schedule ahead by making draft posts. When we just used Meta Creator Studio to schedule Facebook content, it was more difficult to have 4 team members in there , we couldn't do drafts or approvals, etc. The well-designed visual interface of HeyOrca takes the planning, creating, and scheduling process from overwhelming to rewarding since we can just knock it out so much more efficiently!

I love the client approval feature. I love that I can create my posts and schedule them all at one time and once my client approves them in heyOrca they will be published. I do not need to schedule my content after my client's approval. I do not need to use different platforms or programs for approval. Everything is done in heyOrca. It is such a time saver. And it is so easy for me and my clients. 

The customer service is incredible. During the first week I had quetions every 10 minutes and someone was always there during the chat to respond to me. Thereafter, I kept getting e-mails and chat messages to check in with me to make sure I didn't need any help. I was surprised by how efficient and easy the agents were able to help me online. The team is incredible.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

I do not like that the price is by calendar/client. At this time I only have a handful of clients so it is ok. However, when I get more clients, it will be a problem. heyOrca does offer a bundle discount the more clients you have. However, it is still on the pricier side especially when you only have a few clients. Instead of pricing by calenards, I wish it went by social media accounts. At this time, I have not found a platform that has evrything I need like heyOrca.

Definately the client approval process. I was using two different platforms for approval and scheduling. After my client approved content, I would then schedule it in another platform. Now it's all done in heyOrca.

We aren't able to tag personal accounts for LinkedIn and Facebook at this time. Was there a page you were having difficulty tagging? If so, I'd recommend chatting with our in-app support and they'd be happy to check into it for you!

We also have Instagram location tagging for business accounts. I've forwarded this to the team so that we might be able to improve this experience in the future based on our roadmap allowances.

The platform could do some work as it's not as efficient as other tools such as Later or Planony. The mobile app feels useless.

HeyOrca is a great alternative tool to use when it comes to social media planning, especially working as an agency. However there are still improvements that need to be made such as the ease of use when it comes to uploading photos, the mobile app is somewhat useless (only there to help you post manually). I do see the HeyOrca team making improvements along the way and their customer service is amazing - which is why I stay. I also love that there are no extra costs to adding team members onto your team where other social media planning platforms will charge you just to add another team member account. I recommend this platform for anyone who is strictly working on their computer as it does what it needs to do to get the job done, however, unless you are in front of your computer/laptop, you can't do much on the app itself.

I like how the video is posted directly on social media platforms unlike Sproutsocial or any other scheduler. HeyOrca made our work faster as we collaborate with external collaborators and the client.

As of now, there's room for improvement on the story and carousel post. Hopefully, Instagram will allow at least the carousel post to be directly posted. Additionally, there should be a public link where the clients or any other person can see without logging in. Clients can see our internal comments in the meeting.

You should not waste time switching to HeyOrca. It makes our work easier, a great platform, and superb customer service.

The user interface is extremely intuitive. Our team was able to onboard all of our clients easily and all clients were impressed. It allows us to receive client feedback and quickly see which posts are approved, need review, or need edits. Compared to other social media content scheduling and review tools I've used (Sprout Social, Agorapulse, Hootsuite) this is by far my favorite.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

They don't currently have a comment monitoring tool, but I have never truly felt comfortable in 3rd party comment monitoring platforms. We typically work with brands who don't see a ton of comments every day, so that is not something that really slows us down to check within each brand page.

**What problems is HeyOrca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to spend a lot of time drafting content review documents in excel, word, or powerpoint for clients and we'd have to transfer that content over to the scheduling tool after approval. That would take a lot of time, so now we can focus all of that energy on building high quality content.

The most helpful thing about HeyOrca is not just how cutting edge it is compared to the others out there, but just how amazing their customer support is. I have not seen better customer support in any other web apps. They truly listen to their customers for new features. The app is easy to use but also very advanced in allowing us to manage social media for all of our clients at our agency.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

I honestly do not think there is anything I truly dislike about HeyOrca. I do wish it had better and more complex reporting that could be shown to our clients that more explicitly showed the benefits of them working with us. As Social media is a lot harder to prove effective.

**Recommendations to others considering HeyOrca:**

Stop thinking about it and switch to HeyOrca...TODAY...like right now...seriously, are you still reading this? Get HeyOrca now.

**What problems is HeyOrca solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before HeyOrca we used Hootsuite and it was very costly and not a great interface. It was also very hard to share content calendars with clients. But with HeyOrca that is a thing of the past. It is incredibly cost-effective and very easy to share content calendars with all of our clients for their approval, all without them needing to log in!

Love the approve features and ability to link a bunch of platforms.

Unable to auto post to creator accounts. Unable to cross post same post to Instagram & Facebook. App does work. Unable to manually post (caption copies but photos have no option to download). Unable to see drafts in feed, only once they are scheduled.

HeyOrca makes posting to multiple accounts for multiple clients a breeze. From the dedicated content library to the batch moving of posts. They have a solution for content managers. Not to mention the great customer service.

**What do you dislike about HeyOrca?**

The platform can be buggy at times, with long load times as well as pages occasionally crashing. Overall the program is fantastic and these don't detract from the overall win.

The biggest problem that has been solved was managing client load and making sure that their content was easy for them to access and give them a hands off approach.

For my purposes, there really isn't anything I dislike. I've been using HeyOrca for over four years now and it has adapted well to my needs and company growth.

I started using HeyOrca early on in their history. Their customer service has always been fantastic, prompt and thorough. Even as HeyOrca has grown, it has maintained this high standard of customer care. Adding on their "tips" and webinars is an additional bonus.

HeyOrca is an organizational and planning tool for my team that helps us to see the posts across platforms - past, present and future.

The support team is unparalleled. Truly the best. They are always accessible and very friendly. I love the ease of use. I also love the automation, and the fact that I can plan social posts well in advance. The comment section for internal/external stakeholders is helpful!

It often freezes when I delete a calendar. I strongly dislike that some items, when deleted or modified, cannot be changed back. For example, deleting posts.

The main benefit is that our clients can see content a month in advance.
