## HeyMarvin Reviews
  ### 1. Marvin is the facilitator that everyone working in research needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karine Andrade P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

What I like most about Marvin is how easy it is to compile data, find solutions, see strategies and much more. In my routine it made it easier to deal with all the interviews and data I need to collect.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

There aren't many negative points about MArvin, but if I can comment on something that bothers me today, it would be the transcription of the videos. I believe there are.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are benefits in many things, such as tagging, despite having suggested improvements in transcription it is still a very good point, sharing with several people in the team/company, AI collaboration on the platform, creation of insights.

  ### 2. Must-have for modern data-driven teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben L. | Co Founder & Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin is as intuitive as a consumer-grade app but as powerful as a professional suite of tools. No surprise coming from a design-led team that is always listening and really great to work with. Once you've decided you need a platform that serves as a central source of truth for qualitative data, Marvin shows up as in a class of their own as a tool people actually want to use.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

The platform is still evolving and I look forward to a rounded ecosystem that would allow me to capture live interviews on my phone and tag in the moment.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qualitative research done well introduces a source of truth based in the complexities of real human beings. Done poorly it allows people to present biased perspectives wrapped in research language and methods to seem more believable. Marvin creates a chain of custody for the user research, a source of truth that is easy to analyse, easy to point to, and easy to share so that what is being captured and conveyed is the powerful truth of user research. Marvin makes good research methods easier to operate.

  ### 3. My experience with Hey Marvin has been easy, exciting, and informative.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

I like that Hey Marvin has a lot of efficient features that are generally easy to use. Personally, the thematic analysis has been the most helpful, along with the transcription services and ask AI tool. I also like that thei customer service is efficient; I had a few issuesuploading a document and they helped within a few hours.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

I think you have to be good at knowing what types of things to ask to be able to dig really deep.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We host a lot of focus groups, so Hey Marvin helps track, transcribe, and analyze the content of these groups.

  ### 4. The best Research Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosielli s. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin is the best research tool that you can possibly have. It accelerates your work, so you can focus on what really matters, the analysis and insights.
The AI feature also is very helpful to summarize the interviews and contribute with highlights about the main topics of the discussion.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

I don`t have anything that I dislike, maybe there are some improvements of the transcription for the portuguese language.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin solves the problem of having research available for all the company, so the stakeholders can be closer to research and user insights.

  ### 5. Very useful tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roger C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

HeyMarvin has been an excellent work tool. Its AI features significantly optimize the process, whether with tagging or responses based on what was said in the recorded conversation. I conducted interviews in Portuguese, and HeyMarvin transcribed them very well. It's hard to imagine my research/discovery activities without this tool.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

No significant points that affect the use of the tool and its results.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin streamlined the entire interview process and documentation of insights.

  ### 6. Sharing UX research faster with more stakeholders

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johannes S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin has become an essential part of my effort to promote a more user-centric approach to strategic decision-making and product development.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Developing a process that works for your company takes a moment.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training designers and product managers on how to interview in one centralized location
Recording via Marvin allows managing design research across different projects, reviewing, providing recommendations and helping with synthesis
Creating standards of best practices/process for synthesis
Fast turn-around of bite-sized clips and quotes entices to engage with research in more depth
Creating video reels is super fast and very impactful when shared with stakeholder
Past interviews are being "recycled" with a surprisingly high frequency to inspire and immersive user stories when new projects are being kicked-off
AI summary is surprisingly helpful as a starting point for synthesis

  ### 7. Marvin is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Market Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin is fantastic for qualitative research, analysying both survey open ended and depth / group interviews. The AI analysis and theme identification are next level, making my job more efficient. It's so easy to use.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Generating AI summaries can sometimes be a little slow.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making analysing large volumes of qual data a lot easier and more efficient.

  ### 8. Brings efficiencies to manual tasks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin centralizes the storage, annotation, and analytics of interviews in an efficient and organized manner. The tools allow me to do things like tag and quantify themes that are difficult to do manually and create sharable video clips which allows me to share insights to stakeholders in a way we were previously unable to do using docs or emails. Furthermore, having all of my interviews stored in one place and SEARCHABLE is amazing. I can search the transcripts for themes or keywords I'm looking for insights on and it's incredibly efficient.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin does require users to be educated on how to use the product, to get the full value out of the license (which is not cheap), your users need to commit to using the tool.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin allows us to store and share our user insights (interviews), this is incredibly beneficial because user research was very siloed by product team and the insights were not shared with stakeholders easily, or if they were it was via an email or document that you would forget about shortly after. This has allowed us better insights into tracking the users that we speak with and also utilizing the insights we are gathering.

  ### 9. An Exceptional Tool for UX Researchers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chetan S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

The way it organizes the information and easyness of finding an information

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

I think the navigation is bit confusing for a new user.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin is a handy tool for taking user interviews and synthesizing the data afterward. The addon on AI is fantastic. It gives you the gist of the call recording in a few seconds. Everything about this tool is just next level.

  ### 10. Everything I need as a Design researcher

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

It has all features I need to capture interviews, record, upload, transcribe etc. Also, great AI resources that allow you to boost your analysis and yet keeping you in control.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

I just miss not having Whatsapp calls integration. It is a must in Brazil :(

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving time, reducing cognitive overload.

  ### 11. Marvin is a great product with a lot of room to grow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

It pushes us into a more formal process. The AI summaries are solid. The Analyis tool is game changing. Creating montages is a snap.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

The reporting capabilities have a lot of room to grow. There are some UX nuoisances.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run several client projects per month. Marvin dramatically reduces the amount of time we spend in analysis and video highlight creation.

  ### 12. Excellent ecosystem for streamlining customer conversations and research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhinav K. | Associate Director, Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

1. The team is super Agile. We have been working with Marvin since their early days and the team responds super quickly to any feature requests.

2. Love the transcription

3. The user repository saves us a ton of time in B2B as the number of users we interview tend to be on the lower side and we don't want to annoy users by calling them too often. Cross team collaboration on a user becomes effortless.

4. Sharing of research reports is super fast. The snip, tag and share feature is really powerful to quickly share insights with larger teams and generate customer empathy across the board.

5. Analysis module of Marvin is really powerful. They have the right filters as opposed to other tools in the area that allow us to quickly drill down to the right insight.

6. Caller tool within the product is excellent for sales teams and research teams for initial reachouts.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin is mostly a great tool. There's room for improvement tho.

1. Tagging of insights is the step that takes the most amount of time. This needs to be automated, but the qualitative nature of this will mean this will always be manual.

2. Tagging framework is something that's a huge barrier for any team to consistently use it. Would love some feature / knowledge here.

3 Would be great to have the scheduling part as well inside marvin since that completes the loop of research ops.

Overall, Excellent tool still.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Maintaining a central repository of candidates. This helps streamline calls and scheduling.
2. Central insight repository that is easily socialisable.
3. Evangelising insights to the larger team via insight reports and snippets.
4. Not losing context of previous needs of users that are already mentioned.
5. Helps make sense of qualitative data via the analysis module
6. Overall, generates way more recall and empathy with users in day to day product development process.

  ### 13. Marvin is awesome for any qualitative research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

There is so much to like about Marvin.
(1) Super simple and quite intuitive to get started with research projects.
(2) The collaborative live notetaking frees you to focus on listening and guiding the interview.
(3) The transcription quality is AWESOME and available in minutes! So much better than other services. I only end up correcting words that are industry-specific or names.
(4) I'm still learning to tag and automate the analysis steps, but I can tell it has so much potential once you learn it.
(5) All of the above is FREE for a team of 3.
(6) The company listens to the users and continually improves Marvin.

Although they say this is a beta product, it's been reliable for all my research interviews.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

I wish they had more onboarding content to learn some of the capabilities faster. (But I know they're quickly working on it.)

I can't output the data in a tabular format that some other research firms want.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin lets me conduct market research and quickly transcribe and analyze. With transcriptions alone, I can get it within minutes instead of days. In the future, I hope to reduce the analysis time from hours to minutes.

  ### 14. Brilliant and innovative tool, with excellent customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin is a hugely innovative tool that has driven efficiencies and raised standards whenever we handle qualitative data. It is intuitive and easy to use and has an excellent and responsive team behind it.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Not much, sometimes there are slight glitches, but the team is always responsive and fix things very quickly.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin helps us solve the logistical issues around managing and synthesising large amounts of qualitative data. It helps with analysis and creates valuable insights for clients.

  ### 15. Great software for video analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

The transcriptions are high quality, the UI is simple and straightforward to use, and it's nice to be able to organize tags for grouping annotations into themes.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

The payment process was long and it took a lot of back and forth to get it set up for a small project like ours.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Qualitative data analysis

  ### 16. Great for Product Management/Design/Research/Innovation Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark R. | Founder & CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

I love that I can conduct my primary research and synthesize my conversations into insights that I want to evolve into new functionality for my products. It allows me to make product decisions and track those decisions back to the data that inspired them.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

The pricing model is a bit much for a small team.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Traditionally at our company, our engineering team would often challenge the decisions the product team made. Marvin allows my team to point back to specific interviews and conversations that lead to our decisions so that any time we make a recommendation, we have the data to back it up.

  ### 17. A promissing tool for qualitatitave research

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro V. | UX Research Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin is an amazing tool for qualitative research, being one of the most complete out there. The team is super helpful and since I became a customer I have seen improvements and new features being released. In fact, this is the point that most calls my attention: the continuous development of the product.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

When I became a customer, the system of plans and prices that currently exist on the site did not yet exist. Perhaps I would have spent less money to fit into one of the current plans. Also, as I work in Brazil, the transcripts are not as good as in English, in addition to not having some automated features, such as: "Transcript vocabulary" and "Remove personally identifiable information from audio & transcript".

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralization of all qualitative raw data from users, as well as allowing for more efficient analysis.

  ### 18. Great team and tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire R. | User Research Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin has been a great tool for our growing Research team. The capabilities - recording and note taking, creating and sharing playlists, tagging and logging insights - has helped our team scale research practices amongst PMs and Designers, while bringing better practices to our craft. As a small team, the tool has made it really easy for our non-research partners to engage with research.

The Marvin team has been a great partner - collaborating with us in their product development process, being open to our ideas, and being very responsive in quickly launching new features. I would recommend Marvin to high growth research team.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

There's nothing I don't like about Marvin, though I am excited for their continued feature expansion.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin is helping research and product development teams better understand the needs of customers to build more customer-centered products and services.

  ### 19. User friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria S. | Sr Dir Growth Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Simple, intuitive tool for getting better notes from and organization around research calls

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

For our stage of company and use case, there are a lot of additional file types, inputs, and formats we're grappling with - the video call recording / AI is powerful, but just one tool in the ideal toolbox for us.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capturing and organizing a massive amount of research data into clear insights through qual data analysis capabilities.

  ### 20. Brilliant tool to speed up research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

I conduct qualitative user research as part of my job. When not using Marvin, I had to manually organize interview recordings, produce transcripts, import transcripts to different platforms for analysis, and separately summarize research insights. Marvin supports almost all my qualitative research needs together in one place. Marvin helps me organize my interview recordings, skips the transcription step, provides easy-to-use annotation features for data analysis, and also has options to share research insights (e.g., interview snippets or organized insights) with other stakeholders. I still need to write research reports elsewhere, but the hyperlinks that Marvin produces for each annotated video snippet allow me to easily reference back to the original contexts when iterating on my writings. Overall, Marvin greatly speeds up my research and allows me to focus on the fun part of doing qualitative research in a more high-quality and productive way.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

I haven't found anything that I dislike about Marvin. For functions that Marvin doesn't support (e.g., affinity diagraming), Marvin allows easy connection with other tools (e.g., Miro or Google spreadsheet) that better support those functions.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin helps me increase my productivity by taking care of the tedious part of doing qualitative user research and allow me to focus on analyzing data and writing research reports.

  ### 21. The tool every Researcher needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Marvin provides everything from note-taking to a repository. The transcription is far better than I have ever encountered with other research tools. It makes the process so much easier and especially helpful if you are a small team and need to democratize. The ability to upload data (videos, texts), have videos automatically transcribed (extremely accurately), tag, analyze, and even make highlight reels of videos. It's so awesome!

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Honestly, there was nothing I disliked about Marvin. I've tried several different tools and didn't find any of them close to as comprehensive as Marvin. We were having an internal issue with uploading videos but the team at Marvin was able to identify our internal issue and fix it quickly.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin is making it faster and easier to do research for my team. There is no need to have anyone take notes which has allowed for more time for other research projects. The analysis is all in one place and easier to disseminate.

  ### 22. Great research study companion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

After seeing a demo of Marvin, I decided to try it in the field. In my work, we do usability studies as part of research projects, and I wanted to see if I could reduce the follow-up work that comes from doing video analysis. I really enjoyed the ability Marvin gave me os taking notes that aligned in time with the Teams meeting. Comments and tags were easy and quick to incorporate. I also really liked Marvin's transcriptions capabilities, very accurate and helpful in finding that spoken word that I was looking for. Finally, I found the ability to organize and filter notes (as they connect with the video), something that saved me lots of time during the post-thematic analysis.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Not really a dislike, but an opportunity to improve - The version of Marving I used worked best in a multi-monitor configuration, as I needed to see both the live feed of the meeting and the Marvin UI for note-taking. I hope future versions can address that for folks with only one screen.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps reduce the effort of capturing and analyzing data from user studies.

  ### 23. Save so much time and work using Marvin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danh D. | Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

1. Timestamped notes: this feels like a lifesaver. It saves me a bunch of time for post interview work. Now I can take live notes (same as before) but my notes are synced to the exact moment during the call when I take that note. It helps me come back to the notes and easily refer to the original moment clip

2. Easy share: very easy; just copy and paste. It also makes editing so easy as well.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Nothing to complain at the moment. I believe the product will grow much faster in the new year. I forgot to mention in what I like on how responsive their product team is. Quick & efficient.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin helps researchers conduct, organize, analyze and share their researches.

  ### 24. A qual researcher's sidekick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmin M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

- AI capabilities
- Research repository functionality

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

- Unfortunately there's no intercom integration

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin helps us organise and understand our insights so we can group themes and accelerate learnings at volume.

  ### 25. Marvin's intuitive + elegantly simple interface belies a robust, multifaceted research platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Every time I log in, I’m blown away by Marvin’s AI because it not only automates—it improves the outcomes of traditionally time-consuming tasks. I love that Marvin empowers even a research team of one to perform at a high level. My all-time favorite feature is easily sharing user research on the fly. In so many cases, having the ability to instantly pinpoint, select, and share with team members a specific video clip or section of my notes has saved so much time (and, more often than not, puts everyone’s focus back on the customer).

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Can there be too much of a good thing? As a team of one, the rich rabbit hole of research possibilities Marvin presents makes me wish I had a clone. With only so much time in a day and always a critical path to follow, I dislike not being able to use Marvin in a more creative capacity.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin is helping us optimize our product design, service design, user research, data analysis, and, ultimately - customer satisfaction.

  ### 26. Great Product, Amazing Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Working with the Marvin team has been a fantastic experience. They are so passionate and excited about what they do. For a product that focuses on listening to your users, they follow their own advice. We have a great relationship with Prayag & Chirag. They welcome our requests and ideas and often schedule time to hear more about what we are trying to do and how we would like something to work. As a researcher it is so much fun to be on the other side of the table, getting to propose ideas and let someone else run with it.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

The only downside I have experienced is getting everyone to utilize Marvin's functionality fully. Prayag coached us to start slowly, getting non-researchers just to get their calls into Marvin. Then, to baby step them into full analysis mode. Of course he is right, but I want everyone to hit the ground running like the research team has. There is so much we can do with this tool and I don't want to wait for everyone to catch up.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Marvin, we had customer interviews that were often recorded but stored on someone's local account. We might have notes sent out via email to summarize. But, we did not have everything all in one place. You had to know who talked to the customer on each topic and go back to them to get the information. With Marvin it is all centralized and searchable. The insights help us summarize and quickly share information across the organization.

  ### 27. Light years ahead

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie D. | Researcher/Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

I appreciate the integration of zoom, and the machine-learning enable transcription is excellent. Light years ahead of any other tools in this space.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

I worry about the license running out before I'm finished with my project.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Marvin tool allows for collaboration across a large team of collaborators. That is a huge benefit to me because coordinating with this large team without Marvin would be impossible.

  ### 28. Game Changer for Qualitative Researchers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis L. | Author, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

So many things! The transcription bot is a breeze to use and also accurate! Tagging transcripts is smooth and responsive. It's better than any tool I've tried in the space.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Very little disappoints me with Marvin. The team is incredibly responsive and dedicated to improving the overall experience. Whenever I had issues, the group quickly responded with a solution.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my line of work, I run lots of customer interviews. There is no product on the market that is better at helping analyze and synthesize customer interviews. Additionally, Marvin helps highlight insights that would be much harder to see without their helpful visualizations.

  ### 29. holistic tool for user research

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2023

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

centralized feedback notes and documents, tagging and sensemaking for insights

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

want more flexibility with tagging and grouping different tags for reports

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

user research and analysis to identify main pain points for our early customers

  ### 30. Great initial use case, unlimited potential for more

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

The tool is simple and intuitive to learn. The ability to collaborate, share findings, and identify themes and trends across user notes is fantastic. It is an excellent tool for user research, but the potential to use it across the business spectrum -- from CX to Marketing to Sales -- is underrated.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

The tool has a number of integrations related to its core use case. It would be fantastic if it had a more extensive suite of integrations to better support additional use cases like marketing.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin takes data points that are difficult to identify and categorize and turns them into visible and actionable items to improve products and businesses. The product makes it easier to understand your customers and convey the importance of that understanding to your stakeholders.

  ### 31. A key part of your research stack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave R. | Director of Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Super easy ability to create notes based on call transcripts in real-time. Marvin makes synthesis a piece of cake with exports to Figjam, and an easy way to find patterns and insights across projects.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

Recommendations about how to structure your tag vocabulary.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes centralizing our user research across teams quite easy. And provides a source of truth for which users we've spoken to and how often.

  ### 32. One of the Best User Research Tools Available!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2022

**What do you like best about HeyMarvin?**

Ability to tie notes to video clips and analyze them on a kanban board. These can then be added to insights to share findings easily with stakeholders and others in the organization.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

I wish there were more of a folder structure for organizing assets inside of projects. Currently, all added assets are in a single layer, which can become cluttered in complex projects.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marvin helps us organize our data so that we may analyze it and share it with other departments in the company. Additionally, we can share insights directly from stakeholders (in their voices) with product and development.

  ### 33. Great platform for qual anlaysis

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Makes it easy to tag and organise a range of text and qual data, speeding up the analysis process and adding rigour.

**What do you dislike about HeyMarvin?**

The analysis codes occasionally needed to be reentered when navigating across pages.

**What problems is HeyMarvin solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiently and transparently analysing large volumes of data, allowing us to gain operational efficiencies.
