What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?

The user interface is very intuitive, making it easy to become productive quickly, even for administrators who may not be MDM experts. Common tasks such as enrollment, policy creation, and app deployment are straightforward to perform.

The platform offers strong multi-platform support, allowing you to manage iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and tvOS from a single console. This unified approach feels consistent rather than fragmented.

Policy controls are flexible, particularly when it comes to kiosk or lockdown modes and compliance rules. You can achieve a high level of granularity without the setup process becoming cumbersome.

Deployment and onboarding are fast, with device enrollment—especially for Apple ADE and Android Enterprise—being smooth and well-documented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?

The reporting and analytics features are quite basic. While the built-in reports function as expected, they lack the customization and depth of insight found in larger UEM platforms. The user interface is generally clean, but there are occasional inconsistencies—some advanced settings can be hard to find, and their behavior may vary slightly between platforms. Automation capabilities are somewhat limited; while it’s possible to automate standard workflows, more advanced or conditional automation, particularly across different platforms, is not as robust as what higher-end tools offer. Management features for macOS and Windows are not as fully developed as those for mobile platforms, which seem to be the main focus. Additionally, although making policy changes is straightforward, tracking changes and rolling them back cleanly is more challenging, as change management and versioning tools are less comprehensive. "Affordable Pricing MDM Solution"
What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?

Plans start at $1.08 per device per month for basic MDM and kiosk functionality, with discounts available for annual subscriptions.

Intuitive dashboard and easy-to-manage policies make it simple for administrators to control devices.

Responsive technical support team available to assist with any issues.

Easy to implement as users can enroll their devices via self-enrollment using an installation link.

Datas can be access via API which great for implementations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?

I'm extremely disappointed with Hexnode's MFA implementation, particularly when it comes to removing devices in bulk. As an administrator, I need to remove 5-10 devices at a time, and the MFA process becomes a major bottleneck.

For every device removal, I'm prompted to complete MFA via email, resulting in a flood of emails (20+ in a short span!) just to complete a single task. This not only wastes time but also creates unnecessary clutter in my inbox.

The lack of flexibility in MFA settings is frustrating. There's no option to exempt bulk actions or use a more efficient MFA method. It's like Hexnode's security features are designed to hinder productivity rather than enhance it.

That can be frustrating. When device details are only available on the website and not through the API, it can limit automation and integration capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hexnode: Simple and Effective Solution for Device Management"
What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?

The Kiosk Mode function has been a lifesaver for our devices at points of sale. It allows us to restrict access only to the necessary applications, which improves security and user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?

Sometimes, the control panel can seem a bit cluttered if you're not familiar with it, although once you get used to it, it's very efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tiered Licensing Pushes You to Upgrade Despite Strong Cross-Platform Management"
What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?

Hexnode is good because it allows you to manage Mac and PC within the same hub. Many different features. Implementation is decent once you get the hang of the lay out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?

The licences are very tiered, unlocking groups of small features at a time which makes you end up subscribing to the highest tier by a certain point. Support is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hexnode Review"
What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?

1. UI is very interactive and smooth.

2. Real-time troubleshooting.

3. Hexnode supports various platforms like Android, iOS, Windows, and even tvOS, making it versatile for managing diverse environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?

1. The action history tab needs improvement in terms of managing the ongoing commands. Sometimes, the commands take longer than usual to execute despite having a strong internet connection.

2. We can't switch to any other actions tab when taking the remote of a device. To do that, we have a create a duplicate tab in the browser. I hope Hexnode should add a pop up window feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Think again before using Hexnode"
What do you like best about Hexnode UEM?

Ability to push apps: Pushing apps outside policies is amazingly simple, and is a feature a lot of MDM's don't have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?

Support: Their support teams are absolutely abysmal. They have 0 access to your environment (Great for security, but terrible for supportability).

UI: The UI is not intuitive, feels like they just put items whenever they feel like.

Connectivity: We've only tested iOS, but their iOS connectivity has been extremely reliable. Multiple pushes of a command needs to be sent.

Pricing: The pricing for this product is too expensive, especially once you start adding technicians. It's 2025, stop charging per tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A lot of flexibility in control and security of macOS, constantly adding new features and for other platforms as well. And knowledge base is huge, which helps to find answers. And even if you don't find what you're looking for, support will always resolve your issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hexnode UEM?

Complex configurations does not always provide intuitive setup processes, and after you finish - you may encounter issues because some nuances were not pinpointed in manual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
