What do you like best about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

I can get the sales reports and supporting data dumps of the items sold at any time- just not the actual cost of the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Heartland Point of Sale (POS)?

There is no month-end inventory report in the out of the box POS set-up. And the sales report does not give you actual unit cost or total cost of the goods sold. To get that info, you must go through multi-steps and Excel functions to back into the inventory totals needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Heartland Point of Sale (POS):

The Heartland MerchantPOS makes it difficult to offer discounts at checkout. The free inventory tracking is a pain and very manual. It's probably worth the Investment to add a better inventory reporting/ tracking package with your POS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
