## Haystack Reviews
  ### 1. Organized Intranet with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael J. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I find Haystack's clean and organized layout very appealing. The customer service is quick and attentive, which is a big plus for me. I also appreciate the ability to customize pages and posts and organize security for different segments of the groups, which is imperative to our business. Haystack provides an organized way to highlight forms we use daily across our remote company and is great for providing shout-outs for kudos, birthdays, and company announcements.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Need the ability for the connected apps to remain connected. Often times Google Drive disconnects and causes docs and links to no longer work. AI search needs a bit of tweaking as well. Somewhat cumbersome. Onboarding meetings were a must to get groups and content structured.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack provides an organized way to highlight daily forms, shout-outs, kudos, birthdays, and company announcements across our remote company.

  ### 2. Essential Communication Tool with Room for Visual Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lester S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I use Haystack for communication between coworkers to keep up to date. It allows us all to see the same directions being communicated, helping everyone stay in the 'know'. I really appreciate its ease of use and the way the site is laid out which makes it easy to find important information. The feature that lets you create and post in separate groups has been helpful, especially since, for us cooks, we don't need to see everything upper management has going on in their group. This keeps us focused and not overrun with posts. It was an easier platform to navigate and keep track of information compared to the previous platform we used, 'The Portal'. Additionally, the initial setup of Haystack was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

In the beginning it was hard to find out how to post. The white on white contrast made it confusing.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Haystack to keep everyone updated and on the same page. It's easy to use, helps us find important info quickly, and allows us to organize posts in separate groups, reducing unnecessary distractions.

  ### 3. A Game-Changer for Team Collaboration and Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

Haystack has become our go-to space for everything from company updates to team resources. We no longer have to dig through emails, DMs, multiple messages, or different tools to find what we need—everything is just a click away. It’s my go-to destination for anything company-related, and I use it multiple times a day.

I also love how we can customize different areas to suit specific departments or projects. That keeps information organized and relevant, reduces clutter, and improves efficiency. Haystack integrates seamlessly with our existing tools, so our workflow isn’t disrupted, and it brings all our essential company platforms together in one place.

The social features are a huge plus, too. It feels more like a community space than a static intranet, which has helped our team feel more connected—especially remote members.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

The side text drop-down ratio could be improved. While the web version is great, the mobile app could use a bit more optimization. It’s functional overall, but sometimes the formatting doesn’t translate perfectly to mobile screens.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack has been an excellent solution for centralizing our team’s communication, scheduling, and access to essential resources. Keeping all employee communications in one place has streamlined updates and announcements and helps ensure everyone stays on the same page. The organizational calendar has been invaluable for planning and for making sure we’re all aware of important events and deadlines. In addition, having employee policies readily accessible has reduced confusion and saved time, since team members can quickly reference key guidelines without needing to search through multiple sources. Overall, Haystack has significantly improved transparency and efficiency across the board, creating a more connected, informed workplace.

  ### 4. Empowers Agency Collaboration and Engagement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like Haystack's many features, especially the ability to create posts or events and schedule them, notifications to email or text, the shoutout feature, and the capability to review who sees the posts. I find the scheduling post feature helps me be most efficient with tasks on my timeline. I appreciate that notifications allow me to view posts from my phone in real time. The shoutout feature is great because it helps team members feel valued or highlighted. I also find that Haystack is extremely easy to start using.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Not having a report to view for seeing who opens posts. I would love to see some type of training ability for us to drop a training and whether print or video, and know the team member engaged in that training. Maybe even allow a short quiz of the material trained.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack helps us share important information, facilitates team engagement, and creates a family feel. The scheduling feature boosts efficiency, notifications offer real-time post viewing, and shoutouts make team members feel valued.

  ### 5. Essential Hub for Seamless Internal Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryce M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like that Haystack serves as a central hub for everything related to our HR and company updates. It's great that it keeps all our contact information organized for internal management. I also appreciate the super easy-to-navigate interface. It's helpful that it holds older updates for a set time, which is crucial when taking time off, and then it rotates in new updates. Overall, it looks pleasing and functions well, especially since I work with a lot of software but find that Haystack really does the job. Setting it up seemed smooth and easy from what was presented to us.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

I don't have input for dislikes honestly. I use it for news updates internally and it does what I need it to do!

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack solves communication challenges for our 300+ employees, acting as a central hub for HR and updates. It's easy to navigate, stores older updates for reference, and integrates contact info, making internal management efficient.

  ### 6. Engaging Team Transparency, Would Love More Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like that Haystack lets me know exactly when I'm going to get paid and provides transparency in showing me everyone I work with. I appreciate being able to see little tidbits about my co-workers, as it helps me get to know them better. Haystack allows me to have full transparency of the agency through its platform by showing me the calendar of holidays and pay days. I get to explore and get to know my team more thoroughly, participate easily in polls, and even earn badges, which is really fun. The initial setup was super easy, which was a nice bonus.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

I would love to have a bit more customization when it comes to using the calendar feature. This is one of my favorite features because I am able to see the agency holidays. However, I would love to be able to add items to the calendar for my own view. It would be helpful to have the main agency calendar and then one that is only visible to individuals.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack gives me full transparency at work. I know when I get paid and can see everyone I work with. I get to know my team better, see holidays and pay days, participate in polls, and earn fun badges.

  ### 7. AI-Driven Search with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Penny B. | VP of Project and Compliance Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like how Haystack's AI searches quickly, much faster than I could on my own, which is a big help. Another aspect I appreciate is the clean look of the pages, making it visually appealing. Plus, the AI tool doesn't just provide answers but also shows me the sources of information, which makes it easier to identify outdated info on the site. Additionally, the cost of Haystack was much better compared to what we had before with NContracts.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

The lack of sorting options makes page design cumbersome. Currently, the birthdays card does not sort and show current month birthdays for the team. It was time consuming over about two months.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack's AI speeds up searches faster than I could do alone and shows information sources, helping to spot outdated data easily.

  ### 8. User-Friendly Platform for Efficient Information Access

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I love how user-friendly the interface of Haystack is! It's not cluttered and is well organized and structured, which makes it easy to access my needed information and links. I also value the ability to easily access links and have the notifications readily available. Being able to scroll through and choose the ones I want more information on is great. Additionally, I find it helpful to have quick access to links for our help desk, notifications of jobs available, and links to our company's software. The initial setup was pretty easy on both my phone and computer.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Nothing in particular. Hay stacks is pretty easy and nice to use.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Haystack for easy access to job links, news, and info. I love its user-friendly interface and organization. The notifications and quick access to company resources significantly improve my efficiency.

  ### 9. User-Friendly UI with Strong Organization and Solid Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tristan R. | Business Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

The platform has a user-friendly UI, strong organization, and solid overall performance.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Sometimes too many options to choose from when trying to navigate the site

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a great place to find information about my company, and it helps tremendously because I don’t have to rely on contacting other people to get that information.

  ### 10. Haystack: Easy to Use but Needs Faster Loading

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like that Haystack is pretty easy to use and fairly clear. The search function works pretty well for me, which is important because I use it to find answers to my specific questions quickly. It's also seamless for me in coordinating tasks, as it appears as a login button on my main landing page for HR. This makes it very easy for me to coordinate things, like figuring out health care information or applying for leave. Overall, it's been pretty useful for accessing employee-related resources and coordinating leave processes.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

The loading time's a little slow.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Haystack to look up employee resources like leave applications and health care details, making it easy to coordinate with my team.

  ### 11. Polished, User-Friendly Hub That Elevates Company Communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like that it's a very appealing and user friendly intranet space for company employees. Sharepoint was useable but was in no way a good hub to hop in and see current events and employee profiles. Haystack provides a sense of polish that is good at providing communications, org charts, and a general hub for folks to use to access different important aspects for the company. We needed an all in one hub for employees to easily access.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Grouping from Azure can be a bit confusing but otherwise it works, it could be just how we have it set up as well. Otherwise, it does what it needs to do.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All in one communications hub--when onboarding new employees we just have to tell them to go to our company's Haystack page to see current events. We have Haystack set as the home page for all employee computers and it's bookmarked so it's hard to miss!

  ### 12. Enhances Communication, Needs Easier Policy Search

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crissy H.

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like that Haystack keeps me connected to my job at Our Lady of the Valley. I appreciate that I can quickly access company policies related to CSM senior living management. I like how the platform shows all the different employee members and lets you do shout-outs, share information with fellow employees, and see anniversary and birth dates, which is really nice. You can even create a profile picture. The application constantly keeps me communicating and involved with my coworkers, which is a big advantage given it's tied to my second job.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Searching for policies is a little more difficult. It's not very user friendly just to go to find a specific policy. I think policies should be an option of its own and in the main menu drop down list.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack keeps me connected to my job and coworkers at Our Lady of the Valley, quickly accesses company policies for CSM senior living management, and allows me to communicate and engage with employees through shout-outs and information sharing. I also like that the info is posted real time so if you stay connected to Haystack, the updates are readily available.

  ### 13. Efficient and User-Friendly, but Search Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tosha C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like that I can access more RISE attributes in one location without having to navigate different areas. The layout and ease of use of Haystack are appealing to me, and I'm able to see updates easily and navigate smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

The search field seems to be vague. I've tried to search for specific things and ended up having to navigate the site instead. It works for a lot of areas, but there are some where it doesn't narrow down enough.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can access more RISE attributes in one location instead of searching different areas.

  ### 14. Recent transition to our new Intranet---Haystack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher S. | Personal Lines Sales Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

Our transition to Haystack has been a smooth and rewarding experience. The platform is very easy to use and has significantly improved how we access and manage information. I appreciate having all of our documents, applications, and contact directories consolidated in one central location. The way the information is displayed is both clean and engaging, which makes navigating the intranet feel effortless. I also value the thoughtful features such as work anniversary and birthday highlights, which help foster a stronger sense of community. Since our team is spread across different regions, Haystack has helped us feel more connected and in sync, even from a distance. Overall, it has enhanced both our productivity and our team culture.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

At this time, I have not encountered anything I genuinely dislike about Haystack. The platform has been intuitive, reliable, and well-organized. If anything, I would simply say that as we continue using it, I’m open to providing feedback if any areas for improvement arise.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack solves the problem of scattered information by centralizing our documents, tools, and contact directories in one easy-to-navigate space. Instead of searching through emails or shared drives, I can quickly find what I need. It also helps bridge the gap between our teams across different regions by highlighting updates, birthdays, and work anniversaries, which fosters connection and boosts morale. Having everything in one place saves time, reduces confusion, and makes day-to-day work more efficient and enjoyable.

  ### 15. User-Friendly Communication Hub

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna Kate S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

I find Haystack to be user-friendly, which is something I really appreciate. I love the ability to create groups so that specific information can be shared with targeted audiences rather than company-wide. It allows me to complete tasks in one location, avoiding the need to switch between different platforms. The initial setup was very easy, and overall, I find it a useful tool for ensuring all employees are aware of important updates, events, and employee milestones.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Currently, without the AI search feature enabled, employees have trouble locating information within Haystack, which leads to frequent questions.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Haystack to ensure all employees are aware of updates, events, and milestones. It's user-friendly and allows creating groups for targeted communication, which helps me complete tasks in one place.

  ### 16. User-Friendly with Strong Communication Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I appreciate how user-friendly Haystack is, making it easy for me to navigate and utilize its various functions. I enjoy the hosting of events feature as it allows me to input the exact date and time, making coordination across our entire company seamless. The ability to create private groups is another aspect I like because it ensures that I can share specific information with designated teams, maintaining privacy and relevancy in communications. Additionally, the initial setup of Haystack was fairly easy, and it was impressive how quickly everyone in the company adapted to it, demonstrating its intuitive design. This ease of use and comprehensive functionality makes Haystack a valuable resource for our company, contributing to my decision to rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

I wish that it was a bit easier to use on my phone. It's not as easy to post or create events on a phone as it is on a computer.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Haystack streamlines communication by sending updates across multiple locations, simplifying access to contact info and events. It enhances event planning and targeted communication with private groups, while being easy to use overall.

**Reviewed by:** Tawny B. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

Haystack has become an extremely valuable tool for our team. It allows us to track all of our employees, their organizational chart, locations, responsibilities and more! We use it as a landing page to get to all of the sites and information our employees need. We started off looking for a tool to assist with maintaining and searching our guidelines but it has ended up proving to be so much more!

We use it every single day and new employees always seem to comment on how easy it is to use and search for information. The Customer Support Team has also been super helpful anytime we need assistance, which is rare.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

We also have easy access to links that our relevant to our accounts. The AI features are also amazing as it makes creation of content easy and not an additional burden. Setting it up was pretty easy too, as it took about a week to get everyone to use it.

  ### 34. Haystack aint Whack!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jessica l. | PL Sales - Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

I like that company messages, articles, forms and resources are all compiled into one space. I don't have to go on a scavenger hunt for information, and the layout is straightforward

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

I find the layout to be so free-form that the homepage ends up feeling quite busy, filled with a mix of different articles. There isn’t any clear guidance toward a particular direction or featured article, which leaves me feeling lost in the sauce.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haystack helps consolidate necessary policies, handbooks & forms into one place. It also keeps a rotation of different things that go on throughout the office to help me stay involved with my fellow coworkers.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin L. | DMS Administrator/IT Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

The team that I worked with to set up and implement the site was amazing. The site itself is easy to navigate and operate as both an admin and a user.

The post insights feature is very helpful in measuring and increasing engagement.

Linking the site to our MS Teams was simple and I received great support.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Getting pictures to display clearly can sometimes be tricky.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously sent most communications by email. That works well, until you hire a new employee who might need to refer back to policies and procedures previously communicated by email. The intranet allows us to hold a legacy set of documents that are centrally available to all employees. We have also used it as a hub for a support ticketing system, Haystack has made it easy to link those items in and distribute them to the team in a way that the team can always find.

I appreciate the interactive portals and I genuinely look forward to opening Haystack each morning to see company updates, events, upcoming dates, and photos of things we have personally attended. It helps break up the routine throughout the day.....

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

That it requests a link to be sent every so often to log back onto the site. It's just a minor inconvenience that my microwave - instant gratification brain, gets annoyed by. Not that big a deal though.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps build company community.

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

Having the ability to collaborate with other coaches, receive resources and articles that not only pertain to coaching but also running a club, athlete mindset, etc. It's also helpful on the administrative side.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly information needed on the logistical side of being a LOVB club

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick . | Managing Director, Partner Processing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

The ability to quickly find important work related posts for follow-up several days later. Important but not urgent emails are easily lost in the in-box.

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

Posting kudos to colleagues still seems awkward but its clearly appreciated by many.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to communicate exclusively with company wide emails, or large email groups. The responses to those made them a nuisance with constant replies appearing in everyone's in-box. This process is so much easier to sift through to find just what is important to me.

  ### 48. Efficient, Easy to Use, One Central Location for Company News

  ### 49. Great Tool for Employee Communication and Engagement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily G. | SVP, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Haystack?**

We needed a company Intranet to help ensure employees had a one-stop shop for information. Since launching nearly 9 months ago, we have continued to see amazing usage and continued collaboration across our company. It has been a great way for people to see, search and post information. My favorite part is the ease of posting. I didn't want a cumbersome tool that would not get used. Haystack is the opposite - Everything is easy and user-friendly!

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

I think there could be more metrics on the backend for tracking engagement and usage. Drilling down to what is important can help my team know where we need to spend more time.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Haystack, we had emails, Teams Messages, Team Meetings, paper flyers and still people would tell us "I never heard that" or "Where can I find...?" It was a waste of HR's time to continue to re-forward and resend information. Haystack helps our employees help themselves by being an easy to tool to search for what they need. Payroll schedule? Got it. Handbook? Download and save. Holidays? Shared and there!

  ### 50. Company Intranet

**What do you dislike about Haystack?**

We haven't ran into anything that has proven to be an issue.

**What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to have a centralized location for all our company policies and forms. It is also a great place for us to make company wide announcements.
