What do you like best about Haystack?

The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for everyone to navigate, while also offering a wide range of customization options that allow us to tailor it perfectly to our organization's needs. Whether it's personalizing layouts or managing content as an admin, Haystack makes the experience seamless and efficient. It has allowed us to streamline the communication process between departments and employees. We have had a wonderful experience with Haystack's customer service team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

One thing that would be super helpful would be the ability to download posts as PDFs. We distribute our newsletter to current employees as a post on Haystack, we also send the same newsletter to our retirees and board members. But I have to manually copy and paste everything into a document that I can send out to people who are not Haystack users for security reasons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Haystack, our employees struggled to access information and communicate with other departments. Haystack gave our employees a very user-friendly platform where they can access loads of information and connect with each other. They are able to find forms, media, and details about upcoming events on our Haystack platform. Haystack is our one-stop shop for internal communications, all of our employees are trained on how to use the platform, making our jobs in the communications department a lot easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Cameron Lindsay of Haystack

It’s amazing to hear how Haystack has transformed communication and streamlined processes for your organization! We’re thrilled that the customization options and user-friendly design are making such a positive impact. Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience!

What do you like best about Haystack?

I really love how all of our company resources are in one spot. Anytime we need to access information we can check one central hub and it makes everything so easy. I really like that it's user friendly as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

I don't really have any complaints at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have all of our protocols loaded on haystack so any time an employee across our 9 locations needs that information it is easily accessed through haystack. This helps keep everyone on the same page and we don't have to keep communicating the same things over and over. It has also helped with general communication as our company makes a lot of announcements through haystack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Haystack?

Haystack is easy to deploy, and super simple to use. My team loves it and uses it daily to communicate and celbrate different things hapening in and around our workplace. Their customer support and onboarding team was wonderful to work with and very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

It requires a contract, which for some could be a deal breaker... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Haystack allows us to keep communications that typically get lost in someones inbox separate. I know exactly who is reading communications and it helps us have a certralized place for all of our HR documents and resources for employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Cameron Lindsay of Haystack

So glad to hear Haystack has been a hit with your team Kevin! It’s great to know it’s helping keep communications organized and providing a central hub for HR resources. Thanks for sharing your experience!

What do you like best about Haystack?

What I love most about using Haystack for our company Intranet is that it's user-friendly, and it looks modern. While we use it for our Intranet, we also use it for other engagement areas such as our ERGs collaborating and posting events, or one of our teams even uses it for posting their weekly and monthly newsletter to their team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

The reporting features of Haystack are hard to work with, and we have a lot of limitations when it comes to reporting. We are also somewhat limited when it comes to the look and feel of the page, but it is still user-friendy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Haystack helps organizations streamline their internal communication by centralizing it in one place. It’s used for various purposes, such as managing intranet content, supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and sharing team newsletters. Basically, it makes it easier for teams to collaborate and keep everyone informed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Haystack?

Haystack has helped our non-profit advance from an older resource site to a much more easily navigated site to locate key resources from across multiple locations and teams. The use of the program to send weekly internal newsletters has also supported clearer communication and easier reference to past newsletters. We've been able to pull in documents from multiple sources. It is easy to navigate and an everyday tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

With any transition, Haystack requires some time to become familiar with it and determine the optimal ways to use. Also, getting all teams transitioned over continues to take time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Haystack is solving the issue of needing a centralized hub to share information across teams. Our organization needed something to allow for current versions of documents/information to be easily found and accessed by network and schools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Cameron Lindsay of Haystack

It’s so rewarding to hear how Haystack has become an everyday tool for your organization, streamlining collaboration and communication across teams! We’re thrilled it’s making such a positive impact—thank you for sharing your experience!

What do you like best about Haystack?

I love that it's a platform that everyone has access to, where they can find events, news, documents, org charts, create their own links, find contact info, etc. There are so many uses that it covers and the possibilities are seemingly endless. I also love how mobile-friendly it is. It's quick and easy to navigate, especially with the search feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

I haven't come across any reason to dislike Haystack so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Communication. I have direct reports and I have loved that sometimes they hear company news even before I do. It takes things off my plate and helps them feel more involved and informed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Haystack?

I like that Haystack has more or less everything I need for work information and communication in one place. It has a good graphic layout and things make sense where they are located. Since changing from a previous software that had a lot more issues, Haystack is a big improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

The only thing I've found that is lacking in Haystack is the search function. Many times, I put in a search term and feel like the results that come up are not really what I want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Haystack is an upgrade from a previous software. I now feel that I can locate most documents I need through Haystack. Additionally, I feel more connected to other employees via the social networking features. I felt good about writing and posting something myself for my colleagues to view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Cameron Lindsay of Haystack

So glad to hear Haystack has been a big upgrade for you! It’s awesome that you find it easy to navigate and that it’s helping you feel more connected to your team. That’s exactly what we aim for—thanks for sharing!

What do you like best about Haystack?

I like how user friendly it is to use AND create. There are different options to make the page visually appealing, user-friendly, and for people to immediately access the information they're looking for. One of my favorite things is the opportunity to embed PDFs and videos, and/or link them to download. I like having the option, but frequently find embedding or doing both is best for user experience. I also love the carousel option for featured posts, and that all settings for posting and who sees it is right there at the final stage of posting, not in some back page of settings outside of posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haystack?

The only thing I can think of is if it didn't require a keyword to be submitted on posts/articles in order for that post/article to pull up under a search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Haystack solving and how is that benefiting you?

Making it more obvious where tools are - it's more user friendly and above all else, is customizable. It allows for us to create an intranet that makes sense to our employers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
