Hatica has enabled transparency in our company through the use of extensive engineering metrics. A lot of things which were unmeasured and and have been surfaced through the use of Hatica. We are able to measure and drive Key performance Indicators for our engineering team. The team is also very responsive and not only they enabled the tool for us but they have been very forthcoming on sharing insights on our data and helping us make sense of the metrics.
The product was very easy to indtegrate and we were set up and running in days. They were able to take care of complexities like multiple identities etc.
the dashboard set Hatica exposes is the most comprehensive out of any tools that I have seen. A particular dashboard is the sprint performance dashboard which is not available with any other competitor and is super useful to us to measure the effectiveness of our sprints.
We also get access to their customer support through a dedicated slack channel and it is a delight to work with their team who are very prompt in resolving any queries or questions that our team has Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some part of the product is in development. The integration list could be more extensive and there could be more documentation around how Hatica measures certain metrics. This would reduce our dependency on reaching out to their team for understanding the metrics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Here the list what I found particularly interesting and potentially helpful for our improvement efforts:
**Investment**
This tab allows us to check capitalizable work at both team and company levels, comparing it to the total work done. It can help us improve our IPCA calculation and verify if we're correctly tracking capitalizable hours.
**Complete Overview of Cycle Time**
There's an excellent overview of cycle time divided into coding time, pickup time, review time, and deployment time. This will help us automate the monitoring of pickup and review times. We've observed this metric in the past using our own tools, but it was challenging to implement automations to ensure we consistently track and improve these aspects.
**Project Section**
A comprehensive project section enables grouping work done by multiple teams. This allows us to maintain a stable team structure while adding a secondary layer to measure effort at OKR level.
**The Explore Section**
This page allows us to create custom boards to cross-measure metrics and establish unique relationships between data. It provides flexibility to combine and utilize our data as needed.
**Team Wellbeing**
An out-of-the-box dashboard measures meeting times and assesses if people have sufficient time for actual coding. This will greatly assist in understanding if the company's work mode and each team's working methods are too demanding, allowing us to take appropriate action when necessary. I use it for not so much, as of now no negative points to list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Very good cost / benefit ratio. Similar products we tested were significantly more expensive, without offering any features that added value to our use cases.
2. Commitment from the team. They always listen to our feedback and add features or fix issues in a timely manner, sometimes even faster than we expected them to be delivered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hatica could have more user management features. In the end I will manage to do what I need, but there's a learning curve to it, and sometimes I have to ask Hatica to make changes on my behalf. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hatica has been a game-changer for our team. The platform provides detailed insights into productivity The interface is user-friendly, and the integration with other tools like GitHub + Gitlab is seamless.
We absolutely love the feature that allows us to run async daily standups, seamlessly synced with GitHub and GitLab. Highly appreciated! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, we can only find advantages. We encountered a few issues at the beginning, but everything was resolved quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform makes tracking key engineering metrics straightforward and effective, giving us valuable and actionable insights. Their team is responsive to feedback and continually improving the platform. Onboarding and support have been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is still growing, and some advanced features or integrations are not yet available. However, the team is aware of this and actively working on improvements. We’re confident that these additions will come as the platform continues to evolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an Engineering Manager, I find Hatica very valuable for providing deep insights into our team's Productivity. It has a very user friendly interface that allows me to navigate through various dashboards quite effortlessly giving me a comprehensive overview of our teams progress. This kind of visiblity helps pinpoint areas of issues so that we can then improve those areas accordingly. Hatica's advanced analytical capabilities help us in identifying bottlenecks that exist in our development process thus enabling us to optimize our workflows for enhanced efficiency and productivity. Hatica empowers us to make informed decisions and allows us to foster collaboration that drives continuous improvment within all Engineering Teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some areas of improvement that comes to mind are as follows:
1. Report Customisation: The current level of customisation for reports are quite limited and if we could have additional options to customise the reports to our needs would greatly enhance the experience and give deeper insights that a specific to specific teams.
2. Custom Dashboards: Having the ability to combine parameters to create a custom dashboard would be great. Currently we need to switch between dashboards frequently and combining parameters from different dashboards into one custom dashboard would simplify things. Hatica provides a lot of dashboard that are indepth and easy to understand. We can see all the metrics of all the developer in one place in the dashboard called as "Dev Metric Grid". The filters in all the dashboards are great. Hatica also has an integration with click up, so we can check our sprint metrics in Hatica. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes syncing the github PRs in Hatica takes time. But after a day all the github data are synced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can measure the DORA metrics of the whole team, I have individual and team performance metrics that allow me to monitor the productivity of my team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The configuration phase could be complicated if you have several mobile apps in your tech stack Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Comparison with competitors - In my previous lives as a full stack developer at multiple banking MNCs, I have been a user/stakeholder of multiple such tools which measure developer productivity. Eg.- Harness, Pluralsight Flow and Waydev. All these are good tools but I feel they are developed keeping in mind that an organisation already functions in a certain manner. They don't factor in the maturity level a tech organisation is at. Hatica on the other hand I feel will fit in perfectly with TATA 1mg's engineering culture.
2. Actionable insights - Looking at Hatica, I know on what metrics my team is not meeting industry standards. If these metrics are important to me I can take immediate action to remedy this.
3. Bird's eye view - Aggregating data out of multiple sources like bitbucket, jira etc. and collating them together definitely has its value add.
4. Quick and motivating feedback loop - Once I identify a bottleneck and take measures to remedy it, I can see in real time how that metric improves. This works as a motivating factor to further improve our efforts.
5. Developer metrics - Industry is in split whether we should measure individual dev's productivity or not. Hatica does provide a feature called "Developer summary". I like this specifically because I use these insights to provide actionable feedback to my devs during our 1:1s. It is powerful and satisfying to see a developer improve their metrics upon these feedbacks.
5. Fast and Intuitive UI - It requires pulling a good amount of data from stores and applying transformations to it in order to render the intuitive graphs Hatica renders. Despite this, Hatica is fast. Pluralsight Flow used to be excruciatingly slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Notification/reporting system can be better. I observed a few bugs in email reports I get. Sometimes there is no data in those reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Seamless chcekins via Slack -- This feature allows for a asynchronous scrum - This simplistic feature is extremely handy when you have tight schedules/hybrid working. This also provides reports on top of it as well.
2. Exremely Good metrics --Dev Cycle Time/Dev Throughput/Developer summary
3. Extremely easy to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1.Can it integrate to a simple hrms like grethr in order to get my reporting team in place rather than creating a team myself?
2. Can Checkins be integrated to JIRA ? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
