The built-in connectors are especially useful, making integrations smooth and hassle-free. It provides a broad set of features, covering CI/CD, security, observability, cost management, and more. On top of that, its ability to integrate with other tools makes it a comprehensive and adaptable platform for modern DevOps workflows. Plus, its very easy to implement. **What do you dislike about Harness Platform?** Since it’s a relatively new tool in the market, some basic features are still missing. Additionally, the support system can occasionally be less responsive than expected. **What problems is Harness Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, we were using multiple Jenkins servers for different teams, which made the setup complex and hard to manage. With the adoption of Harness, everything has become much more streamlined. The flexibility that Harness offers is truly impressive. Its powerful features have helped us significantly reduce code duplication and simplify our overall processes. ### 2. I use it a few times a week whenever I need to check and start deployments and it always works well. The API seems to be quite useful as now my colleagues have been able to enbed deployment job links and statuses into our own tooling, so I can see the related depolyment and jump right to it to monitor the status/approve. **What do you dislike about Harness Platform?** My experience of Harness via the UI is very bad. The deployment graphs always extend off the side of the screen and and key parameters are hidden away in a very cluttered UI. It's also very slow to navigate. I was glad when we were able to build tools that use the API rather than the UI itself! I never tried the customer support but if the design of the UI is an indication of customer centricity I would be worried! The latest version has the option to toggle the view to vertical, which is better, but speed of loading pages really makes it a drag when searching for and checking op on multiple deployments. **What problems is Harness Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** My projects need to be deployed in several environments with verious steps and configurations, and I need ot monitor the state of each deploymehnt. Harness helps me keep track of and manage the process of releasing the software to production safely. It allows me to have an approval step to queue up the jobs and clear them before going to production which is very nice and keeps a record of deployment authroisations. ### 3. While they may require my assistance during initial setup, many DevOps and development teams quickly recognize the benefits of automation. One of the most important things that has helped customers learn how to improve their operations is personalized training. Automated testing and deployment to various environments were part of the pipeline we established in Harness. Because of this, we were able to deploy the feature smoothly and get favorable feedback from users. It is easy to create a group of accounts that you want to enable or disable a new feauture too. We would often have to hand roll this kind of stuff into our own app/conf/DB...etc. in the past. Now it's just a few clicks over on split and a few lines of code here and there ### 10. Like their distribute treatments feature isn't like a traffic split at all, and I'm not sure what their traffic split feature actually is. The SDK integration is straightforward and thoughtful, and the team is very easily accessible any time that issues arise. **What do you dislike about Harness Platform?** There's less control than I would like in terms of the data that Split passes to third party software that we use for analytics.
