I dislike not being able to easily add a select set of schools to my profile list to like. I have to manually find each school and add them individually. Recommendations to others considering Handshake for Employers: Handshake is an excellent tool if you are looking for candidates that are fresh out of or even still in college. Many people who have been out of college and into their careers do not use it quite as much as those more junior job seekers. It is extremely valuable for intern recruiting. I like that it's easy to use for reaching out to local students seeking internships and employment opportunities. It's great that you can use it to post available positions, directly reach out to interested students, and connect with area colleges all on the same platform. The one downside to the platform is that there is a limit on how many messages you can send per recruiting season. However, there are no limits on messaging people with who you've already been in contact. It's only ever a problem when you want to directly reach out to students. It's helpful because the posting, recruiting and, communicating happen all on the same site. It's also helpful in that you're able to narrow candidates down by what school they're enrolled in.
