I like that it supports multiple language. That the editor has several IDE features that make it more realistic. I like the response time of code runs. The real time co-editing. HackerRank has been the widest-used assessment tool for our company in evaluating hard skills asynchronously. Offering the options of both a robust library of questions across various languages and scripts as well as create-your-own, we've found it useful for both initial and secondary screen assignments. Hiring managers and recruiting staff have greatly appreciated the ability to communicate with candidates, prevent cheating (including the use of AI), and be backed by supportive customer operations. High costs per user to sign-up in platform. Realitically as a business hiring a high volume of developers in a 800+ people organisation, we need tech leads to take ownership of the test and tech interview process but we've had to adapt to limit this due to the restructure HackerRank went which cutdown the number of users we could have and the increase in the costs. A feature to add: cheating detection. Not sure how to achieve it, but it'd be helpful to provide inputs when there is potential copying of code from chatgpt of other platform.
