On the confirmation prompt, this appears at the time of redemption when the merchant is selected and is part of the final step to confirm the choice. Once the gift is redeemed, the platform doesn’t prompt additional questions afterward. :)

Guusto has been a wonderful addition to our employee recognition efforts. The platform is easy to use, making it simple for managers and supervisors to acknowledge great work in real time. Its intuitive design ensures that even first-time users can navigate the system with ease.
One of the most valuable features is the reporting and tracking of shoutouts. Being able to monitor recognition trends and see who’s being acknowledged (and how often) provides essential insights for leadership. It helps ensure that recognition is consistent and inclusive across teams, and it supports data-driven decisions around employee engagement and performance
Guusto also offers a wide range of reward options and the ability to personalize messages, which adds a thoughtful and meaningful touch to every shoutout. It’s a reliable, user-friendly, and impactful tool that truly supports a culture of appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Guusto?**

While Guusto is overall a fantastic platform, one small challenge we've encountered is the initial learning curve for recipients. Some employees were confused at first, expecting to have a traditional account or dashboard where they could log in and view all the shoutouts they’ve received.
If you don’t have the upgraded plan, a recipient has an account only for the purpose of receiving and redeeming a gift, not for tracking recognition history. This distinction wasn’t immediately clear to everyone, and it led to a few questions and missed shoutouts early on. That said, once this was clarified, most users adapted quickly.

**What problems is Guusto solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing Guusto has been a key step in achieving our department’s goal of creating a more engaging and meaningful employee recognition program. We were looking for a solution that was easy to use, flexible, and impactful—and Guusto delivered on all fronts. The platform has made it incredibly simple for managers and supervisors to recognize team members in real time, with personalized messages and a wide variety of reward options. This ease of use has encouraged more frequent and thoughtful recognition, which has had a noticeable impact on our team culture. One of the most valuable outcomes we've seen is a measurable increase in employee satisfaction and engagement. On the ability to change vendors after redemption—this is expected. When a recipient confirms their choice, they acknowledge that the merchant can’t be changed after redemption. At that point, the gift card is purchased directly from the merchant, which means we’re unable to reverse or modify it on our end.

The organization I work for introduced GUUSTO a few years ago and it has been such a great way to recognize staff . It allows us to  have selection in  what we choose to spend the funds on.  The app is very easy to use.

The only thing I would change is making the use of GUUSTO GC automatic, rather than having to manually select that you used it.

It has allowed more flexibility and choice in selecting our own  rewards at work.

Regarding your suggestion, once a gift card is used, users can manually move it to the “Used” folder. Since we don’t have visibility into whether individual merchant gift cards have been redeemed, this step is kept manual to give users control over their own tracking. Hope this helps! :)

On your note about deadlines: the expiry applies only to the claiming step, and that timeframe is set by the gift sender at the time the gift is issued. Once a gift is claimed, it doesn’t expire and can be redeemed at any time in the future. :)
