What do you like best about Gusto?
Gusto has become an essential tool for running my payroll and small business operations. What stands out most is the outstanding UI/UX — the interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate even when I’m short on time. Everything is well-organized, and I can quickly find what I need without digging through menus.
I especially love the seamless integrations, particularly with Clair for on-demand cash advances. This has been incredibly helpful for managing cash flow during tighter months. I’ve also used the tax filing tools, and they integrate smoothly with everything else on the platform.
Performance is reliable and fast — payroll runs smoothly every time, reports load quickly, and I’ve never experienced downtime or glitches. I always feel confident that my payroll status is up-to-date and accurate.
On pricing and ROI, Gusto delivers strong value. While it’s an investment, the time it saves me on payroll, taxes, and compliance more than pays for itself. As someone balancing a full-time job, full-time studies, and running FM Notary LLC, the efficiency gains are worth every penny.
The support and onboarding were excellent. The initial setup was straightforward and user-friendly, and I was able to get everything configured quickly. Whenever I’ve had questions, the support team has been responsive and helpful.
I’ve also started exploring Gusto’s AI and intelligent features, which are impressive. They help surface insights and automate tasks that used to take more manual effort, making the platform even smarter over time.
Overall, Gusto gives me peace of mind and control over my finances and payroll. It’s one of the best business decisions I’ve made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Gusto?
Honestly, I have not found anything significant that I dislike about Gusto. It has been a reliable, user-friendly platform that meets all my payroll, tax, and cash flow needs very well.
The only very minor thing I can mention is that I occasionally wish the mobile app had a few more advanced reporting features (I usually end up using the desktop version for deeper reports), but this is a small preference rather than a real issue. Everything else — from the intuitive UI/UX and seamless Clair integration to performance, support, and overall value — has been excellent.
I’m genuinely very satisfied with Gusto and would recommend it without hesitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
