"Amazing product, worth the investment!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

The UI is very intuitive. I’ve never had any trouble figuring out where to find things, which makes everything feel straightforward and easy to use. I’ve also noticed that the performance is excellent—there’s never been any lag or other issues on my end. Support has been great as well, and I haven’t run into any problems when I’ve needed help. Overall, it’s a great product for this price point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don’t have many issues with Gusto, but one improvement would be clearer UI guidance on when pay periods are. Additionally, having more information about taxes would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Compliant Payroll with Helpful Integrations and Self-Onboarding"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like the simplicity of the software. We're using the lowest priced plan and it is sufficient for our small business to stay compliant and run our payrolls professionally. The app integrations and employee self-onboarding also takes some of the workload off our hands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don't like the weekly tasks reminders too much, because it leads to too many emails. Some of the task reminders are very helpful and necessary to run payroll smoothly. However, some of the tasks (e.g. setting up 401k, health insurance) seem like they're simply cross sells. If Gusto can use AI to determine if our business truly requires some of those tasks and flag them as required, it will help us decide when to act on them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Helpful Chat Support, and Fast Payroll in Gusto"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I love the reminders I get weekly/bi weekly to do tasks. When setting up Gusto, overall it was fairly simple and easy to understand step by step what I needed to do. Using the chat and having someone answer my questions directly and quickly was great and so helpful. Running payroll is super simple and easy to use, I can do it so quickly and if I need to make changes, it's easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

When I needed to use the chat to speak with someone, for some reason it was very challenging to find out where I needed to go. Sometimes things seem redundant and I go in circles trying to find things, and I end up googling how to do it. I believe everything I need to do is on the site, sometimes it's just a matter of me trying to figure out where to go that can be challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple UI, but integrations and transit reimbursements need smoother automation"
3/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto’s UI feels simpler than other employee benefits software I’ve used (e.g., UKG and ADP). It’s generally easy to navigate and find specific benefits, like time off and transit benefits, without much digging. N/A, don't pay for Gusto personally nor know how much we're charged for this. What do you dislike about Gusto?

I wish the integrations worked a bit more seamlessly. The benefits card combines both healthcare and transit benefits, which sounds great in theory, but it makes it difficult to set up autopay or get automatic reimbursement for my monthly transit card. Right now, I have to manually submit my transit receipt for pre tax reimbursement every month. N/A, don't pay for Gusto personally nor know how much we're charged for this. "Intuitive, Secure Experience with Easy Alerts and Paycheck Access"
4/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

The interface is intuitive and modern without being overly bloated or animated. I am able to use the website and the app with ease. It is easy to set up alerts whether by email or app notification. I also appreciate getting confirmation of my activity and the security gives me peace of mind. The search functionality is easy to use and the ability to download my paychecks and review my pay within the interface is superior to other platforms I have used through prior jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

The only downside, which isn't a showstopper at all, is that there are features that my employer has not enabled so they appear on the interface taking up room. They aren't too obnoxious but I wish I could disable or collapse those widgets since they are controlled by my employer and thus nothing I can do with those features. "Happy Customer"
4/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like how easy it is to interact with the website. I like that I can see the date I am getting paid when I login, and that past pay stubs are easy to get. I find this most useful when I am needing documentation of pay stubs such as when applying for a rental, I can easy find all that on my profile. I also really like how easy it is to switch/ split my paycheck. At other jobs, it was always a pain to switch my bank account that is connected to direct deposit, but gusto makes it very simple. I also like I can get my W2 online and not have to wait for it in the mail, as i like to do my taxes as soon as I can to get it done. With this feature I can do it very easily. What do you dislike about Gusto?

I would day gusto satisfies all my needs as an employee getting paid. I guess there are features that I havent tried as it seems it would take a while to input information for budgeting. Generally I am happy with this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and Reliable Employee Time Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

As an employee, I use Gusto to clock in and clock out for my shifts. The app is simple to use, and it makes tracking my work hours quick and convenient. I like being able to clock in from my phone without any hassle, and it's easy to review my recorded hours. Overall, Gusto has made time tracking straightforward and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

One thing I dislike is that the app can occasionally be slow to load when I'm trying to clock in or clock out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One HR Made Easy: Intuitive, Reliable, and Great Value"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto is really helpful because it keeps all of my information in one place—benefits, PTO, clocking in and out, and more. The benefits being integrated into Gusto is my favorite part of the program. It’s also very intuitive and easy to use. On top of that, the mobile app is convenient to have on my phone. The website online and the app both perform really well. The support options are also very helpful if I ever need help navigating the program or have questions. The AI support is very useful. Pricing for the program is also very reasonable for the small business I work for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

Using Gusto day to day, I’ve found that the integrated GPS feature for clocking in and out can occasionally have performance issues. When that happens, I notify support, and since the clock-in/clock-out feature includes a space to add a note, I clarify there that I’m in the correct location. I’m not sure whether the GPS problems I run into are caused by Gusto or by my phone’s GPS itself, so it may not be Gusto-related at all. I only experience this issue on my phone; it’s never been a problem on a desktop or laptop connected to WiFi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly, Reliable, and Easy to Integrate with Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

It's very user friendly, I know where to find all my information. I like that it easily integrates with other apps / sites that I use. I've never had an issue performance wise using the site. I can always easily log in, as can my spouse who helps with benefits. I've used the support team and they've gotten back to me in a timely matter. I can't speak to pricing/ROI or AI as I have not used those functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

It'd be nice to have the ability to have multiple profiles. For example, my husband logs in to my account to see our insurance information/etc. He can also see information about my team - ie vacation days, performance reviews etc. I'd like him to be able to have his own account. "Effortlessly Simple Payroll Solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I use Gusto to get paid for my internship, and I appreciate how it makes it easy to clock in my work hours and get paid. I like how the app is simple and easy to use and doesn’t have a bunch of unnecessary features I probably wouldn’t use. This aspect helps me because it causes less of a headache when navigating the interface. I only need a couple of simple features like viewing my paycheck and other docs and clocking in, so the simpler, the better. The initial setup was very easy, with no issues. Everything works as expected, and I have no complaints. The app itself works quick and as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don't like that I have to get a Gusto credit card to get paid early Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
