"Verified Confidence, Slashing Internal Search Time and Siloed Knowledge with Guru's Trust Based Card"
What do you like best about Guru?

The absolute best thing about Guru is how it eliminates the "shoulder-tapping" culture by creating a single, verified source of truth that lives where we actually work. I love that the Trust Score system. Seeing that 100% verified status on our Customer Support cards gives our team total confidence that the playbooks we're following, like our "Root Cause Analysis" or "Live Chat" procedures are up to date. The browser extension is a game changer for our support reps because it surfaces knowledge cards instantly without them having to leave the customer conversation to dig through a messy Google Drive or Slack history. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

I would love to see a more intuitive way to bulk-update verified statuses for entire folders instead of having to click through cards individually when a major product update happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Guru Delivers the Right Answers Fast—Lightweight, Searchable, and Efficient"
What do you like best about Guru?

Guru’s biggest strength is how it delivers the right information exactly when and where you need it. Whenever we have a question, we can quickly check Guru and find reliable answers. It keeps everything lightweight, user‑friendly, and easy to search.

With the new feature that allows us to ask Guru questions directly, getting detailed information has become even easier. It’s incredibly useful for travel workflows, policy updates, and saving supplier information. Overall, it’s a great tool that makes our work faster and more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

Guru is a great tool, but there are a few areas where it can feel limited. Sometimes the options and search results don’t always bring up the most relevant cards, especially when content isn’t tagged properly or when there are many similar cards. For more detailed or long‑form documentation, Guru’s card format can also feel a bit restrictive compared to tools like Confluence or Notion.

Guru works best when everyone on the team is consistent about updating and verifying cards. When some teammates don’t maintain their information, it affects the overall accuracy and usefulness for everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible All‑in‑One Workspace with Strong Visual Organization"
What do you like best about Guru?

A flexible, all‑in‑one workspace for documentation, wikis, project management, and lightweight databases. It’s often favored for its customizability and strong visual organization. It also works well as a simple, collaborative knowledge base, with AI‑powered search and verification, and it’s designed to support growing teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

Search Can Be Inaccurate or Overly Dependent on Tags. Guru’s search often struggles when I type partial matches or use different terminology. It also tends to return too many similar results, which becomes especially noticeable in larger knowledge bases. Guru also can’t create step-by-step flows, decision trees, or other structured guides, even though those are important for process-heavy teams. As a result, users end up scanning long cards instead of being guided through the information in a clearer way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Employee's Guru overview"
What do you like best about Guru?

Guru provides AI-driven, context-aware search that integrates directly into tools like Slack, Chrome, Salesforce, and Teams. Rather than depending solely on keyword matches, it interprets your intent and returns relevant, accurate answers right where you’re working. It also lets you set up role-specific “Knowledge Agents” (for example, for sales or support teams) that proactively surface the most pertinent information based on your context, reducing manual searching and cutting down on context switching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

Although Guru does offer a free tier, its feature set feels fairly limited. A lot of the more advanced capabilities—such as detailed analytics, verification workflows, Knowledge Agents, and support for larger user counts—are reserved for paid plans. For small teams or startups on tight budgets, the per-user pricing can be a real barrier, potentially limiting adoption and making more cost-effective alternatives seem more attractive.
