The ability to perform real-time payment allocations instead of batching has drastically improved our response time to requests and reduced the amount of manual work required. I find the payment allocation routines highly flexible, allowing for most allocations to be automated, which streamlines our billing processes effectively. The integration of trouble tickets and activities within the system is a fantastic feature that keeps work organized and contained within the system, rather than scattered across email threads. Additionally, I am impressed by the full system delinquency lifecycle capabilities, which can be fully automated to meet our business needs efficiently. The seamless integration and real-time synchronization between Guidewire BillingCenter and Guidewire PolicyCenter are very beneficial, allowing both systems to communicate and sync information smoothly. Furthermore, I value the flexible and customizable options available out of the box that cater to most business requirements, and when customization is necessary, BillingCenter allows for easy modifications. Lastly, the capacity for policy-level, account-level, or hybrid billing enables us to consolidate policies and reduce document output, which is incredibly practical. **What do you dislike about Guidewire BillingCenter?** I dislike how Guidewire BillingCenter handles delinquency at a policy period level instead of treating the policy as a whole. This design results in several different timelines for delinquency handling, causing compliance issues in some states. This approach is problematic because multiple policy periods can concurrently have due balances, complicating the management and oversight of delinquencies. **What problems is Guidewire BillingCenter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Guidewire BillingCenter allows real-time automated or manual processing, real-time payment allocation, and flexible, customizable options, improving workflow efficiency and minimizing manual work, compared to our old system. ### 2. There's also plenty of information about history of payments which is very useful as an insurance representative. **What do you dislike about Guidewire BillingCenter?** Information is everywhere. It can be very overwhelming when it comes to where to find what. As well as this, some side tabs are very oddly named, making it hard to understand what category of information the menu contains. **Recommendations to others considering Guidewire BillingCenter:** With so much information everywhere on various menus, a word of advice from myself would to be sure that you understand all of this information.
