I like how Greenhouse offers better organization and tracking for our recruiting process. It simplifies posting jobs and has an easy interview scheduling process and scorecard process. The customization is what I like best about Greenhouse. I can make templates for emails, offer letters, offer packets, interview setups, scorecard setups, and job creation. This flexibility ensures the system works for us even as our needs change. I love Greenhouse for its ease of use and the ability to efficiently collect and review resumes. One of the best features is being able to look back and see a candidate's history, which helps us understand past decisions and get up to speed quickly. Greenhouse makes it easy for our lean and remote team to coordinate and collaborate when leaving feedback after interviews. The scheduling process runs smoothly and swiftly, which is invaluable to us. It's usually very easy to train new users because Greenhouse has a pretty user-friendly interface. Also, the customer success team has been very helpful when we've had issues, making them easy to book time with, walking me through the platform, and answering my questions. The reporting functions could be a little smoother. The way data is collected could be improved, as it's currently not as smooth as I'd like. Also, Greenhouse could improve its integration with Google Calendar. For the size of our organization, this is probably the best ATS. From req management and driving candidates through the recruitment process. It is clunky at times with it's UX. e.g. Hitting back button resets updates, not everything can be automated. It would be ideal if certain customized fields would appear if certain drop downs are selected. We send our offer letters through Adobe and it would be nice to be able to customize the look of the emails/sender of those emails more so they are more recognizable to candidates when they get the email. I also wish there was a better way to send multiple documents to employees with their offer as separate attachments rather than it all appearing as one large packet that they have to scroll through. I like being able to tag candidates. This feature makes Greenhouse more valuable because it helps us with future leads. Often there isn't a need for a candidate we find on LinkedIn or whatnot, but they do show future potential. Greenhouse's user experience is quite poor from my experience. As a digital product agency that's focused on user experience, I find that Greenhouse's user experience doesn't feel intuitive at all. When I'm going through my workflow, things just aren't where you expect them to be, and I don't really understand how to set things up. It's clunky and feels like it needs a whole overhaul. The automations are integrated into our Google Workspace. It’s our single source of truth for TA, and it helps keep everyone accountable. It also integrates with our technical tooling for technical assessments.

I find Greenhouse quite easy to navigate, especially for job applications, which makes it stand out compared to other systems like Workday. I appreciate the ease of navigation and how the overall font and styling look friendly. The job application feature is something I use a lot, as many companies prefer the Greenhouse application system. Also, the initial setup of Greenhouse is quite easy, with no hassle.
