## Greenhouse Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined Recruiting with Intuitive Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for recruiting and managing candidates for inbound resumes and sourcing new ones that find on Linkedin. There's also a portal that you can create for 3rd-party / agency recruiters to submit candidates and you can also manage it that way. In terms of performance, it is pretty solid, never had any outage or 505 errors and it is compliant with GDPR in Europe and US privacy protection laws. It doesn't have AI thats the down side and the pricing could be a bit pricy. I also find its UI pretty straightforward, which makes managing the workflow pretty good. The initial setup was also pretty straightforward, and I like how it integrates with other tools like a fraud detection tool called Attesto and LinkedIn.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The color green is always there, wish it had other options. The UI's been around for a while and it's easy to use but wish they spend time to give user an option for darkness mode or at least some update or option for change.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for recruiting, tracking candidates, referrals, and moving them through the process to offer. It's a tool thats been around for 10 years and it's a very competitive market with Jazz, Lever and Ashby / GEM that are now the ATS that everyone would consider vs Greenhouse.

  ### 2. AI-Powered ATS Boosts Hiring Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angie S. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I find Greenhouse to be a fantastic ATS that has greatly helped my team and me stay organized by keeping track of applicants and open positions. It's easy to learn, and I appreciate that the platform is constantly evolving with new features. The addition of AI has made the recruiting and hiring process smoother and more efficient, and I really like AI in job descriptions and the integrations, which help me save time.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There are some features with bulking like reorganizing my application questionnaire; I have to do it individually. I spoke with someone from Greenhouse, and they are working on it.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps me stay organized by tracking applicants and positions. AI integration smooths recruiting and hiring, saving time and improving efficiency. Its evolving features and ease of use are impressive.

  ### 3. Robust Interview Plans, Easy Integrations, and Impressive New AI Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

We like the robust interview plans and scorecards, the intuitive interface, and the ability to customize our settings. The integrations with Rippling as our HRIS, Gem, and Brighthire were also very easy to implement. We’ve found it has strong uptime, and we’re impressed with the AI functionality it has rolled out.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

It feels like we’re being asked to pay for every new feature they roll out (which I haven’t experienced with other ATSs). We also don’t have a dedicated support person, and our current account manager has only reached out to sell. He doesn’t take a consultative approach.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to track our funnel pretty seamlessly.

  ### 4. Simple, Clean ATS That’s Easy to Navigate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany R. | Housing Management Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the platform’s simplicity. It’s easy on the eyes and feels more straightforward to navigate than other ATSs.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I’m sure those features come at a cost (pricing); however, in my role I’m not privy to that information. I do think the price matches the value.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is a seamless tool helping us retain and attract top talent. It supports our onboarding efforts, and integrates with most HRIS platforms.

  ### 5. Useful Features, But Complex and Pricey

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liudmila S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that Greenhouse has everything in one place, which makes it easier to manage the hiring process. It's really good that all the information is available there, allowing us to save records and post positions efficiently. Despite being a little complicated, I pretty much like the service.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The system is pretty complicated, especially in terms of navigation. It takes time to figure out how things work. The communication with the support team has been frustrating as I needed to follow up on emails for updates. In terms of flexibility, I feel it's lacking. For example, when we wanted to change platforms, our proposal to pay for half the subscription and not use the full term was rejected. I also think a live chat feature for fast responses would be helpful. The subscription is quite pricey, and I was expecting more for the amount paid.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse makes the hiring process pretty good by centralizing all our positions in one platform, which helps organize and save information efficiently.

  ### 6. Great Support, Complicated Usability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niklas G. | Senior Manager of Business Intelligence, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that we have a direct line of communication with the support team and that I can ask them things on the fly, and they always respond very quickly. The communication line is especially helpful because the ETL is pretty complicated, with a lot of tables and different keys and relationships. It helps me figure out what all the different tables mean and where I can find certain information.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

A main difficulty with Greenhouse is just about our own usage. The platform is great, but not every recruiter uses it the same way, so it's sometimes hard to pull the right information and have it be consistent across multiple users. It's also a little bit complicated to open recs and add candidates, which I think is one of the reasons why not everyone's using it the same way.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse gives me a good overview of who's in the pipeline and what roles are open. It helps with the complex ETL by providing direct communication with support, making it easier to understand the tables and find information.

  ### 7. Great for Recruitment but Needs Analytics and DocuSign Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love the candidate profile view and the scheduling view in Greenhouse. These features, along with the flexibility to add job infos and custom fields, really stand out for me. It gives me a lot of clarity around scheduling, and I appreciate being able to see an overview of all the recruitment processes. The integration side is really working well, giving me an overview that's much better than other tools I've seen.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the reporting could be improved a lot, given that it's not giving a lot right now. We're looking forward to improvements, as we're mainly using Snowflake for analytics instead. I'd really love the analytics tool to be usable by recruiters in Greenhouse. The DocuSign integration is another concern. I don't understand why Greenhouse decided that only one person from a company can sign as a company signatory, especially when many companies, particularly in Europe, need two signatories. I'd love Greenhouse to explore allowing more people to sign from the company side and not just one user. The pricing around Greenhouse onboarding could also be better if it comes as an all-in-one package rather than asking us to buy add-ons. The CRM, while working well now, still feels basic, and I think there's room for more features.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse gives me clarity around scheduling and I get an overview of the recruitment process. The integration side is working well, offering a better experience than other tools.

  ### 8. Visual Pipeline Excellence, Needs Intuitive Candidate Profiles

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace M. | Regional Human Resources Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse as my ATS for recruitment and it really helps to consolidate jobs, candidates, and feedback into one system. I can easily see all applicants and active candidates and pull data for each job. I like the visual pipeline feature the most as it makes seeing which candidates are in what phase super easy. Additionally, I appreciate that it is an easily digestible layout. Overall, I really like it and would rate it an 8 or 9 on a scale of recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I do not find the candidate profiles very intuitive. I preferred the previous view compared to the current one. The pop out on the right hand side for Candidate/Application/All Jobs/Notes/Alerts is not as easy to flip around to view certain information as it was before. It is almost too much information that I don't need.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps consolidate jobs, candidates, and feedback into one system. I can easily see all applicants and active candidates for each job and pull data effortlessly.

  ### 9. Easy-to-Navigate Interface That Simplifies Recruiting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aidan D. | Office Manager/Recruiting Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The interface is extremely easy to navigate, it provides plenty of insight on candidates, and supports recruiting processes by simplifying the interview steps.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

My only critique is that it can sometimes be tricky to find exactly what you are looking for. Some examples are settings, email templates, etc.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps tracking of candidates concise and provides data upfront that may otherwise be timely and difficult for a team to track on their own. It simplifies the processes for our team immensely.

  ### 10. Reliable with Integration Benefits, Needs AI Advancements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love how Greenhouse is extremely reliable—over the 7+ years I've used it, I can only remember about a single incident. It's also fairly flexible, allowing us to use webhooks for automation. The platform offers the ability to create customized workflows and solutions using its API, which is incredibly valuable for building solutions tailored to our specific needs. I also appreciate that it serves as a centralized platform to manage candidates' hiring processes, offers robust reporting, and allows data to be ingested into our data lake for integration with other tools. Greenhouse's integrations with other hiring support tools and the automation of tasks enhance its utility and effectiveness.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

They have been slow and conservative in AI adoption. Some features that are commonplace in the market, such as AI scoring for applications, have not been developed and intentionally.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse as a centralized platform to manage hiring processes. It integrates with other tools, automates tasks, keeps process history, and allows data ingestion into our data lake for use by other tools.

  ### 11. Streamlined Recruitment with Minor Glitches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really appreciate Greenhouse for keeping everything organized and helping us keep track of all our candidates. I find its format super easy to use. I particularly like how it's divided into positions and stages within each position, making it visually easy to understand and keep track of everything. On a regional level, being part of a small-sized business, Greenhouse helps keep everything organized and aligned. On a global level, it maintains visibility with higher ranks and helps keep everyone aligned on objectives and processes. I'd rate my likelihood to recommend Greenhouse a solid 10, I love it!

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Sometimes when I move candidates (ex. from app review to screening call) it glitches and takes time to show so sometimes I get lost.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse keeps our recruitment organized, tracks candidates efficiently, and its intuitive format makes it easy to navigate. It aligns our small regional team and maintains global visibility and alignment on processes.

  ### 12. Love Greenhouse: Intuitive UI, Smooth Workflow, and Strong Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S. | Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I LOVE Greenhouse. I like the UI, the way things flow, it integrates with most platforms.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the reporting feature could be clearer and less confusing. Right now, I find it difficult to get my reports exactly right.

For example, we record each hire by month. If an offer crosses into a new month, or at least isn’t resolved within the same month (for instance, we give an offer on 3/27 but negotiations continue and the candidate signs on 4/2), it seems to throw off the monthly counts.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keep our ATS organized and improves our documentation. It also makes it easier for us to record more information consistently.

  ### 13. Smooth, Organized Recruiting With Easy Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that it provides an organized system for recruiting. Each step of the process can be tracked and recorded in one place, and it also makes it easy to collaborate with colleagues who are working on the same recruitment initiatives. Overall, it’s a very smooth system and an improvement over our previous recruitment software provider, Workday.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I honestly can’t think of any real downsides. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the constant reminders to enter notes can be a bit annoying—sometimes you’re busy and just don’t have time to do them right away. It would be nice if Greenhouse offered options to adjust how often those reminders are sent, with different intervals to choose from.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is making our recruitment efforts more organized, streamlined and efficient. It makes what is often a time-consuming, onerous activity easier, which is much appreciated.

  ### 14. Efficient Integration but Rigidity in Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I have used Greenhouse as an ATS at multiple companies ranging in size from 1,500 - 10, 000 employees. It is fairly easy to manage from a configuration point of view and supports the basic needs of candidate and search management well. The API functionality and BI connectors are standout features, allowing us to get data out to support reporting and integration with other tools, which I find to be well above any other competitor. These features also help automate processes via integration between Workday (and other tools) and Greenhouse and allow the combination of recruiting data with data from the rest of our people system and scheduling tools.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There is some rigidity around the offer approval workflow that could be improved, as well as the ability to create more field logic with branching.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse manages candidates through our recruiting process, integrates well with tools like Workday and RHIS, and automates processes, combining recruiting data with other systems.

  ### 15. Streamlined Hiring Process with AI Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francesca H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really appreciate how Greenhouse simplifies the application flow process. It allows me to go through applicants with filters and seamlessly share resumes and scorecards with hiring managers or the interviewing team, making it easy to compare notes and feedback. I recently discovered the AI feature, which is super helpful during interviews as it helps fix grammatical or spelling errors, allowing me to focus more on listening and jotting down responses. It's a lifesaver for making the interview process more seamless. Using Greenhouse for the first time was very simple and easy to navigate, even for people who haven't used an ATS before. I also integrate it with DocuSign, Zoom, Google Meets, and Calendly, which makes setting up interviews and managing schedules really convenient. Overall, Greenhouse offers an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think that there are a lot of permissions which makes sense, but can be sometimes a very manual task. To update permissions per job, I have to go in and update things manually quite a bit when I'm working with different hiring managers or people on different teams. I understand why it is that way, but I think there potentially could be an easier way to update permissions.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse simplifies the application flow, lets me filter and share candidates easily, and improves interview focus with AI by fixing note errors. It enables better comparison of candidates' feedback and makes the interview process seamless.

  ### 16. Efficient Hiring with Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia L. | VP, Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I appreciate Greenhouse for being my single source of truth and decision engine, especially in a fast-paced, PE-backed company. It helps me set the bar upfront, control the top of funnel, and run structured interviews which drive decision clarity. The software supports me in moving fast and maintaining data hygiene while ensuring that hiring decisions are owned by managers and I maintain the process, quality, and pace. I like the visibility it provides into hiring decisions, showing bottlenecks, decision quality, and consistency, which really improves the signal and speeds up hiring while making accountability clear. The robust training materials, community support, and constantly evolving product updates are fantastic. I love that there are always new additions, like viewing multiple calendars for panel interviews, which make a huge difference. The improved automation on rules and the ability to learn through videos, blogs, and chat are incredibly useful. I found the support team extremely knowledgeable, and despite the effort needed, the setup process is something I would gladly undertake again.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The filter UI on jobs isn't intuitive and often results in hiring manager frustration. Same with the interview plan UI. Sometimes folks get lost because there are so many ways to do the same thing, but I personally love it.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to streamline hiring processes, ensure decision clarity, and maintain data integrity. It offers visibility into decision-making, identifies bottlenecks, improves hiring speed and accountability, and allows collaboration with hiring managers while I focus on quality and pace.

  ### 17. Effortless Recruitment Process, Needs Better Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eszter M. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that Greenhouse is easy to learn, which makes it simple to teach new hiring managers who need a quick ramp-up. I also find the custom field options really beneficial, as they help manage complexity in our job applications, offers, and across different departments and locations. This flexibility allows us to tailor Greenhouse to fit our specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I would appreciate a more detailed reporting for sure. Being able to filter for all the fields we can use in the columns would be great. Also, I'd like it if all the job and candidate fields were available in the reports. Furthermore, if the dashboards were more flexible, allowing us to process more data in different layouts, it would be better.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse streamlines tracking candidates, scheduling interviews, posting job ads, creating offers, and reporting. It's easy to learn and teach, especially for new hiring managers, and its custom fields help manage complex job, application, and offer situations.

  ### 18. Efficient for Budgeting, Needs Clearer Approval Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guilherme R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the job filling estimation feature in Greenhouse. It's crucial for me to have an expected schedule for all job openings, as it directly affects the company's budget. This feature helps me adjust these timings in real time, which has been great for model adjustment. I also find the range of features justifiable for the competitive price, making the setup very easy.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Actually, the approval process isn't as streamlined as it could be. It's still easy, but sometimes it can get a bit confusing. Some approvals do not show up on my email inbox, nor at the 'approval requests' section in the home page, which is weird (I can only join and approve by a link the creator sends me). Although this is rare, it happens. But the main point for me is the approval pipeline. It's great to have plenty of details, but sometimes it can cluster my view and get in the way of knowing what actions I actually have to take.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse streamlines my approval process and helps reconcile job openings. The job filling estimation feature allows me to adjust timings in real-time, impacting the company's budget. However, the approval process can be confusing, and it would be helpful for non-HR users to have a simpler approval page.

  ### 19. User-Friendly, Feature-Rich, Minor Integration Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I feel like using Greenhouse is relatively positive, especially because it's easy to keep up with the app throughout the recruiting process. I work a lot with hiring managers who are first-time managers going through the interview process, and it's pretty easy to use. The scheduling is easy to do, and the new AI features are nice. I like the integration with LinkedIn. It has been easy to navigate through and find the right people for our team, which helps to get the right talent in the door. I like the ease of use, really. The interface is very easy to follow, which is what I like best. When our recruiter left, it was very easy for me to jump in and get started in the interim. The integration with DocuSign is very helpful for me when sending offers to candidates. I do like the integration there, and I don't have any hiccups.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think a little bit of update on integration would be helpful. There's always token issues that I'm having when it comes to the connection with LinkedIn. So maybe, like, updates on integrations.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Greenhouse helps bring the right talent in the door and makes it easy to navigate and fill roles.

  ### 20. Greenhouse Transforms Recruiting into a Cohesive, Data-Driven Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love Greenhouses ability to transform recruitment from a series of disconnected tasks into a cohesive, data-driven, and efficient process.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse offers reporting capabilities, but if you need highly specific or deeply customized analytics, the built-in options can feel somewhat limited. In those cases, the effort required to extract the data and analyze it in the exact way you want can be significant.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing Greenhouse, we struggled with managing our candidate pipeline effectively. This often resulted in disorganized communication, missed follow-ups, and a generally inefficient hiring workflow.

Now, we can seamlessly track candidates through every stage of the recruitment process. This improved organization means we're able to communicate more consistently with applicants and hiring managers, ensuring a smoother experience for everyone.

The direct benefits we've seen include a reduction in the time it takes to fill open positions and a more structured approach to evaluating candidates. This has allowed us to make better hiring decisions more quickly and efficiently.

  ### 21. Intuitive and Streamlined for Recruitment and Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madi L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really like using Greenhouse because it keeps everything nice and streamlined, especially when it comes to onboarding tasks, which tell me exactly what I need to do. It's intuitive enough that I can sit with our hiring managers for just about thirty minutes and share how our hiring process works, and they are able to figure it out from there. I also appreciate the chatbot (and tell our hiring mangers to use this frequently) - great answers!

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

With the Greenhouse onboarding tasks, it's a bit frustrating that if a new hire hasn't started but they're already in our system, and we need to update a task, it requires manually going back and updating each one. For example, if we tweak something small like the instructions for creating a Slack name, I have to update that for everyone who's already in the system but hasn't started yet.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse because it keeps recruiting and onboarding streamlined. Its intuitive design helps me train hiring managers quickly. The onboarding tasks guide me exactly on what to do, simplifying my daily tasks.

  ### 22. Greenhouse: Intuitive, Feature-Rich, Yet Needs Improved Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt T. | Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how Greenhouse releases features with a calculated approach, focusing on real problems that companies need to solve. The compliance and governance mindset they've got makes it much easier to talk to our legal and compliance team and deploy these tools. I also love their API, especially the Harvest v3 version, which is intuitive once you get the hang of it. The setup of Greenhouse was pretty straightforward, and it's easy for people without previous experience to use the tools effectively. Additionally, I think Greenhouse stands out for enterprise and scaling businesses because of their user-friendly approach and the new features that are competing with AI-specific tools. I always recommend it highly because of its usability and their direction towards enhancing the platform with thoughtful features.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I've been pretty open about this with my Greenhouse rep, but there are still some barriers when it comes to the reporting functionality of Greenhouse. It's had to lead to either bolt-on tools in the past or putting together my own solutions for that. It's just not as intuitive and straightforward from an analytics and reporting perspective. Most talent leaders and recruiters don't have access to APIs, so the barrier to clear analytics and pulling the data out of Greenhouse in a meaningful way without massive support from an IT or infrastructure team is challenging, which just doesn't exist today.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse saves us time and money by consolidating multiple features into one tool and using AI for efficiency. It helps with job postings, talent matching, and improves our recruiting process by reducing tool spend and enhancing scheduling.

  ### 23. Customizable Yet Challenging Recruitment Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how Greenhouse offers better organization and tracking for our recruiting process. It simplifies posting jobs and has an easy interview scheduling process and scorecard process. The customization is what I like best about Greenhouse. I can make templates for emails, offer letters, offer packets, interview setups, scorecard setups, and job creation. This flexibility ensures the system works for us even as our needs change. Additionally, we've never had any issues with Greenhouse and have never considered moving off of it, which speaks to its reliability.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There is a bit of a learning curve with the system if you're not already familiar. Because it's so customizable there are a lot of settings and capabilities, but you kind of have to know they exist. It's not always the most intuitive.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Greenhouse improves organization, tracks and posts jobs, and simplifies interview scheduling and scorecards. The customization lets us create templates for emails, offers, and interviews, adapting as we change.

  ### 24. Smooth, User-Friendly Hiring with Incredible Implementation and Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M’Kenzy W. | Talent Acquisition Operations Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse delivers a smooth, user-friendly experience for both candidates and recruiters. Their implementation team was incredible to work with, helping us tailor and configure our setup during a high-growth phase and broader technology rollout. Their ongoing customer support has been just as impressive—always responsive, collaborative, and quick to help us find the right solutions as our needs evolve.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Some of the back-end configurations can be difficult to navigate, and the talent filtering and resume review experience can feel less intuitive than expected. While the platform offers strong customization overall, there are areas where additional flexibility would better support more complex or evolving hiring workflows.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps us solve the challenge of scaling our hiring operations without sacrificing candidate experience or consistency. By centralizing our job board, pipelines, and workflows into one platform, we’ve gained greater visibility across roles and stages, increased automation in our recruiting processes, and built a more standardized, repeatable hiring framework that supports our continued growth.

  ### 25. We're very happy with Greenhouse! Would recommend!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura M. | Business and People Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The automations are amazing and it's very easy to move candidates throughout the process.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I can't say there is anything that I dislike, but I do wish there was a way I could post a job in multiple locations, and have job specific application questions custom to the candidates location.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are easily able to filter out applications that don't meet our minimum qualifications. The hiring process moves faster with all the automations we're able to set up.

  ### 26. Effortlessly Streamlines Hiring with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan M. | Associate Manager of People Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love Greenhouse for its ease of use and the ability to efficiently collect and review resumes. One of the best features is being able to look back and see a candidate's history, which helps us understand past decisions and get up to speed quickly. Greenhouse makes it easy for our lean and remote team to coordinate and collaborate when leaving feedback after interviews. The scheduling process runs smoothly and swiftly, which is invaluable to us. It's usually very easy to train new users because Greenhouse has a pretty user-friendly interface. Also, the customer success team has been very helpful when we've had issues, making them easy to book time with, walking me through the platform, and answering my questions. I've been pleased with their level of service. Overall, Greenhouse has definitely made our hiring process more efficient and smooth.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The reporting functions could be a little smoother. The way data is collected could be improved, as it's currently not as smooth as I'd like. Also, Greenhouse could improve its integration with Google Calendar. Every time I schedule a meeting, I have to manually add the 'join with Google Meet' button, which is annoying and wasting a lot of time at scale.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps us collect and review resumes, track candidate history, and facilitates collaboration in feedback. It streamlines interview scheduling, aiding our remote team to stay coordinated efficiently.

  ### 27. Great ATS for Our Size, but the UX Can Feel Clunky at Times

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

For the size of our organization, this is probably the best ATS. From req management and driving candidates through the recruitment process. In addition, it integrates well with our FP&A tool, Anaplan, on the backend and then HireRight for on-boarding/background.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

It is clunky at times with it's UX. e.g. Hitting back button resets updates, not everything can be automated. It would be ideal if certain customized fields would appear if certain drop downs are selected. For instance, if we have a second line leader being input as the hiring manager, it should automatically give permission settings on what they can view.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is our current applicant tracking system and source of truth for recruitment. This integrates with Anaplan (head count planning); gem (reporting - funnel statistics; hireright / immigration forms - for on-boarding.

  ### 28. User-Friendly and Easy to Configure, with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan D. | HRIS Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is very user friendly and configuration is very basic and easy to understand. No difficult coding. Their support team is also great and you get the same team every time you create a ticket.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The reporting is kind of difficult and limited. Not much customization with it.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to get back to the basics and track candidate life cycle easier.

  ### 29. Customizable Offer Templates Streamline Our Recruiting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa B. | HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how customizable the offer templates are in Greenhouse and how easily we can update or edit existing ones. I appreciate how well it tracks applicants, whether they are applying to multiple positions or using one profile.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

We send our offer letters through Adobe and it would be nice to be able to customize the look of the emails/sender of those emails more so they are more recognizable to candidates when they get the email. I also wish there was a better way to send multiple documents to employees with their offer as separate attachments rather than it all appearing as one large packet that they have to scroll through.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse lets us better customize offer letters for candidates and track applicants applying to multiple positions. I like the customizable offer templates and how easily we can update them.

  ### 30. Valuable Features Marred by Poor UX

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like being able to tag candidates. This feature makes Greenhouse more valuable because it helps us with future leads. Often there isn't a need for a candidate we find on LinkedIn or whatnot, but they do show future potential. We know we will open that role at some point, so being able to tag accordingly (ie-Illustrator) on their profile once we add a prospect is convenient.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse's user experience is quite poor from my experience. As a digital product agency that's focused on user experience, I find that Greenhouse's user experience doesn't feel intuitive at all. When I'm going through my workflow, things just aren't where you expect them to be, and I don't really understand how to set things up. It's clunky and feels like it needs a whole overhaul.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse as an applicant tracking system, helping us keep track of all candidates. Its tagging feature is valuable for managing future leads, allowing us to tag candidates who may fit future roles conveniently.

  ### 31. Integrated Automations and Reporting That Keep Us Accountable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Re E. | Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The automations are integrated into our Google Workspace. It’s our single source of truth for TA, and it helps keep everyone accountable. It also integrates with our technical tooling for technical assessments.
The reporting feature has also levelled up.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

On forms, you cant attach a document, only a link. But on emails you can attach a document.

It would be easier if we could attach documents to our form templates

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlines our recruitment processes.
Holds everyone accountable.
Single source of truth for reporting, documentation processes and audit trails.

  ### 32. Easy Navigation with Room for Autofill Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yashika A. | Performance Marketing Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I find Greenhouse quite easy to navigate, especially for job applications, which makes it stand out compared to other systems like Workday. I appreciate the ease of navigation and how the overall font and styling look friendly. The job application feature is something I use a lot, as many companies prefer the Greenhouse application system. Also, the initial setup of Greenhouse is quite easy, with no hassle.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The auto-fill system could be improved. Sometimes it comes with a glitch, answering some questions correctly while for others, I have to manually delete information and redo it.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Greenhouse makes job applications easy to navigate, better than Workday. I value the job application feature because many companies prefer it. The ease of navigation and friendly styling are additional benefits.

  ### 33. Streamlined Hiring and Seamless Scheduling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier R. | Senior Talent Acquisition Partner , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really appreciate how user-friendly Greenhouse is. The self-scheduling feature has been a game changer, making the interview process so much smoother by letting candidates pick a time that works best for them. I also love having the flexibility to manage my own schedule and calendar effortlessly. The initial setup was simple, and this latest version has made things even easier. I highly recommend it!

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about Greenhouse—it’s been a seamless and reliable tool throughout my experience.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the self-scheduling functionality streamlines the interview process by allowing candidates to choose a time that works best for them from pre-set availability. This eliminates the back-and-forth emails and saves a significant amount of time for both recruiters and candidates. It also creates a better candidate experience, as it gives them more control and flexibility during the scheduling process.

  ### 34. User-Friendly Scheduling with Great Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando K. | Recruiting Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

User friendly, great integrations, works well with ModernLoop, excellent scheduling workflow.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Editing scheduled interviews can be a pain, manual follow-up, pulling reports isn't always intuitive.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My favorite problem that GH is solving is that scheduling takes too much time and they're solving that by calendar integrations, interview templates, automated emails. All of this helps coords spend less time on logistics.

  ### 35. Easy scorecards, but surface-level reporting and frustrating per-employee pricing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davin G. | Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Hiring Managers find it easy to use and submit scorecards.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The reporting can be a bit surface level. I really dislike the pricing per employee when most employees do not submit referrals or even touch the platform, it's really frustrating. Also having to upgrade to get some very basic features, like duplicate application prevention seems so strage.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It covers tha basics when it comes to being an all-in-1 ATS.

  ### 36. Streamlined Referrals with Easy Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaishali G. | Senior Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse primarily for referral purposes, and it helps collect relevant data easily and streamlines the referral process. I like how simple and organized the software is. It includes all necessary components from both employee and employer perspectives, such as easy tracking and application progress, providing transparency throughout the process, which is very helpful. The initial setup was really easy and straightforward with a single sign-on using my work email.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Some sections on the UI could be improved to make it more user-friendly and easy to navigate, like better filters and notifications for any update.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for referrals; it streamlines collecting relevant data, tracking application progress, and provides transparency. It's simple and well-organized, making the referral process easy from both employee and employer perspectives.

  ### 37. Streamlined Hiring with a Few Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica A. | Talent Acquisition Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for the entire hiring process and really like its clean system that offers a great candidate experience, allowing applicants to apply quickly. I appreciate the ease of use, which makes it straightforward to navigate the platform. Additionally, I like the filtering and the AI summarization for scorecards, which are particularly valuable features.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find the reporting functionality lacking, some bulk functionality could be improved, and the app feels quite outdated.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for the entire hiring process. It provides a clean system with a great candidate experience, allowing them to apply quickly. I particularly value the filtering and AI summarization for scorecards.

  ### 38. Structured, Intuitive Hiring Workflows That Bring Consistency and Pipeline Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praveen Y. | Business Travel Consultant, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like most about Greenhouse is how structured and intuitive its hiring workflows are. They make it easy to manage job postings, track candidates, and collaborate smoothly with hiring managers. Overall, it adds consistency to the recruitment process and gives better visibility across the entire hiring pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

What I dislike most about Greenhouse is that certain workflows feel a bit rigid, and even small configuration tweaks often require admin support. On top of that, the reporting interface isn’t as intuitive as I’d like when I need quick, ad hoc insights.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse addresses the issue of fragmented and inconsistent hiring by bringing job postings, candidate tracking, and interview workflows together in a single platform. As a result, it makes collaboration between recruiters and hiring managers smoother, helps teams move faster on hiring decisions, and offers clearer visibility into pipeline health as well as recruiter performance.

  ### 39. Efficient ATS with Scope for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ellen H. | Senior Technical Recruiter, Staffing and Recruiting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I enjoyed being able to customize scorecards so that I'm consistently asking candidates the same questions. I also like the reminders feature.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the application review process could be improved, as I end up using a different tool called Gem to review applications and filter through candidates. I also think the scheduling could be improved, as I need to use a Calendly integration to do this easier.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse keeps my applicants in order for every step of the interview process with all the associated scorecards, and it helps me follow up with candidates as needed.

  ### 40. Robust, Feature-Rich Talent Acquisition Platform With Strong Reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benny H. | Senior global recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Robust system that has every feature the Talent Acquisition partner needs, from intake of candidate thru the process and the offer stage. Reporting feature is very good and helps me with my Data Driven Decisions. The Chrome app is highly functional.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Some applications ask for too many details, which can make the process feel unnecessarily complicated.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s especially good for intake and reviewing candidates, and the reporting system is highly functional.

  ### 41. Effective recruiting tool with potential for improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isabell H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I particularly appreciate the automation in CV screening with Greenhouse. It allows for quick clicking through in the roundup, making the process more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

If you want to transfer application questions individually from old jobs, it doesn't work. You have to select all and then delete each one individually. With automated rejection rules, you can only select days for when the email should be sent and not a specific day with time. As a result, rejection emails can sometimes be sent on a Sunday. Additionally, the initial setup of Greenhouse was very complex and time-consuming.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for the recruiting process with scorecards and CV screening. It automates processes and facilitates quick navigation in the evaluation.

  ### 42. Structured Hiring Excellence, Scaling Fair and Data Driven Recruitment with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The Structured interview approach is a technical game changee, ensuring our team defines specific role requirements and candidate attributes before a single job is even posted. I love the visibility of the candidate timeline, which allows us to look back at years of historical interactions to understand past decisions instantly. The integration ecosystem is incredibly robust, allowing us to connect Greenhouse with 145+ other tools like Slack and LinkedIn to keep our entire workflow centralized.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The reporting functionality can be a bit rigid, making it difficult for our analytics team to pull specific, non standard data snapshots for advanced performance analysis.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This structured approach has directly improved our recruiter efficiency and significantly reduced our average time to hire. Overall it ensure that every hiring decision is data driven and aligned with our company broader growth goals.

  ### 43. Robust ATS with Clean UI and Powerful Data Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for ATS and recruiting analytics, and it keeps the data clean while allowing for easy access via BI connector and API calls. I find the webhooks for automating data cleaning particularly helpful. The UI is very good for non-technical users while still providing a lot of tools for data access. I like the clean UI, good design, and ease of use. Some specific tools I value most are the BI connector, Harvest API, and webhooks.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

It's hard to find flaws in Greenhouse especially compared to other tools. There are sometimes small quirks. It would be awesome to be able to make an API key that is limited to a specific subset of data like just one requisition.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse keeps data clean, allows easy access via BI connector or API calls, and has webhooks for automating data cleaning.

  ### 44. Scalable ATS with Workflow Automations and Knowledgeable Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse has fantastic support and a deep library of help articles that make it incredibly easy to get up and moving with a new ATS. Their documentation is clear, and the customer success team is proactive, which significantly lowers the learning curve during implementation.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Because the platform allows for so much customization for each specific role, it can sometimes feel a bit tedious to edit and manage every position individually. However, we definitely appreciate that flexibility, as it ensures the hiring process is tailored to the needs of each department.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse has streamlined our scheduling process through its integration with Google Calendar, which saves our team hours of manual back-and-forth every week. Additionally, using Real Talent alongside the ATS has been a game-changer; it effectively assists us in filtering out fraud candidates, ensuring that our recruiters only spend time engaging with high-quality, legitimate talent. This combination has made our entire hiring pipeline much more efficient and secure.

  ### 45. User-Friendly Experience with Easy Filtering and Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is a great tool for streamlining recruiting processes. I especially enjoy the job templates, automatic stage transitions, CRM functionality, and the options for candidate surveys. Overall, I see Greenhouse as an excellent ATS for mid-to-large-sized companies.
I am also a big fan of Greenhouse customer support, who are always there to help with any questions.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse’s data analytics functionality doesn’t feel very well thought through. The dashboards still require extra data extraction and a fair amount of manual analysis, which makes it hard to see the whole picture.

The tool is also unnecessarily complex, and it’s fairly difficult to implement, set up all the processes, and onboard someone who hasn’t used it before. Scheduling options and role information could use improvement as well.

There are some integrations that could be smoother and have more functionalities - e.g. LinkedIn or DocuSign, but some integrations like Google Calendar work very well.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is helping us streamline our entire hiring process for both tech and commercial roles. It’s taking our recruiting efforts to the next level, and with well-structured workflows and smart automations in place, we can spend less time on day-to-day operational tasks and more time on strategic, non-operational topics that support our business and company growth.

  ### 46. Streamlined Recruitment with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanna Setareh F. | Bilingual Talent Acquisition Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how easy it is to use Greenhouse, and it's very easy to navigate. The platform's user-friendliness really stands out for me. It's highly customizable, making it an all-in-one system for talent acquisition. I appreciate that I can shortlist candidates easily, access information quickly, and process people through the system smoothly. The integration with many different systems that I use, like Outlook, LinkedIn, and Indeed, is super helpful. Additionally, I find it super easy to book interviews and screenings, as my calendar availability is shown to candidates, allowing them to select times that work for them. The pre-generated templates are also a big plus, and the initial setup seemed to be hassle-free since no one on the team mentioned any issues, making my onboarding experience really smooth.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There is nothing I can think of or have experienced that is something I dislike.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is user-friendly and easy to navigate, allowing me to shortlist candidates quickly. It integrates with Outlook and connects to LinkedIn and Indeed, facilitating seamless recruitment processes. The pre-generated templates and system ease make it a superpower for talent acquisition.

  ### 47. Streamlined Interviewing, Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea E. | Talent Acquisition Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really just appreciate that Greenhouse is pretty organized; you know, everything is in one place. The help desk is really supportive in answering any questions, and if there's any issue that I can't figure out, it's usually pretty easy to find the solution through their internal systems.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Recently, there was a lot of changes to the formatting. It has been a bit of an adjustment getting used to this new way to review. All in all, one thing that I want to make sure is that we're able to backdate recs to their proper close date. Recs sometimes remain open past the time they're actually closed, and from a performance perspective, I want to ensure my data is up to date. I also think there is room for improvement on how it tracks and processes data down to the individual recruiter level and the individual hiring manager level. It would be nice if there was a better display of relaying that information so I didn't have to take it and put in something else. Instead, I could just provide executives the data directly from Greenhouse.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse centralized our candidate tracking, organizing job requisitions and scorecards. It helps managers better monitor and track employee performance.

  ### 48. Easy User Onboarding That Scales

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

It's typically very easy to onboard new users

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Lack of robust reporting which I hope will be solved with the new analytics platform. I also find it to be pretty click heavy in terms of UI/UX. I have not had a chance to utilize the AI tool to help filter fraudulent candidates, but also hope that it is a positive experience that will further improve the performance of the tool.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is providing a centralized location for our candidate feedback and interview scheduling. It's streamlined the process for our teams.

  ### 49. Clear, but Difficult Installation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valerie V. | Gastvrouw, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I find Greenhouse clear and appreciate the reports. Additionally, I am also satisfied with the options for scheduling the interviews.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The language and the European institutions. Working with a 24-hour clock and the ability to set the language to Dutch or another required language for correct date and time processing is something I miss greatly. Also, the initial installation was difficult and took a lot of time, with much research into difficult settings.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps me run the application process and reports, provides an overview, and facilitates scheduling interviews.

  ### 50. Feature-Rich, Yet Challenging Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ksenia M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that Greenhouse has a lot of bells and whistles. I find that I learn something new almost every day about the system, and it has a lot of functionality that's very helpful. I appreciate the ability to run different reports and set up dashboards. It also allows me to create multiple company websites and career sites. I like the ability to add knock out questions, auto tag candidates, and set up tags for candidates. Additionally, I can use Greenhouse to keep track of temporary labor and run reports on it.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The offer letter wizard is not great. I don't like that every time I have to make a change to an offer letter, I have to download the Word doc, update it, upload a new one, and I would like to be able to make changes in the offer letter itself. The initial setup was difficult.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse cuts down on time to review resumes by using keywords to filter over a thousand resumes and helps create dashboards for senior leadership, allowing data-driven decisions by HR.
