The best about gravitee is it's support for Event streaming API and websocket, where most of other API tools doesn't support this techstack.
Gravitee is way easier to develop and maintain the API and governance around it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Documentation can be improved for v4 apis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many plugins for different use cases which are very helpful. Intuitive UI that makes it easy to navigate through the application.
Compared to other API management solutions that I have used, it was easier to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I couldn't find any issue while I was using the application. There are some complex specific features that are not yet implemented, but they are actually already on the product roadmap, so it's not a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Gravitee team is tops on support. What other options in the marketplace have additional fees, Gravitee includes. From sales (yes, even the sales process was a good experience), to onboarding, to early development, answers come quickly, and continual reinforcement that the Gravitee team will accommodate changes to our cloud-hosted version.
As we get our heads wrapped around the tool's flexibility, the depth of functionality becomes more apparent.
We looked at every option we could find, Tyk, Okta/Auth0, Kong, OSS, and found Gravitee to be the best value for our fintech startup.
Gravitee is a must-consider for an APIM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wished the FAPI tools and functionality was more mature when we signed up for Gravitee. Nothing on the Gravitee side, but we signed up with another Auth service for user credentials before finding Gravitee. Not a problem on the Gravitee side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The team at Gravitee have a great product but really did all they could to make our project a success. Their product and consulting saved us a lot of time and money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product was tricky to implement / manage via APIs initially, and that inhibited adoption in the early days. This has been massively improved with later releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Open source is a gigantic advantage as we're able (as a customer) to troubleshoot some issues by ourselves and we also have some kind of guarantees on the code quality because everything is public.
The product itself is also great with a lot of features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We're not a paying customer so this is quite fair but I should mention that support is a bit frustrating as we open issues in GitHub but rarely get feedbacks on it.
More important is that version upgrades are (for now) always painful and some data gets corrupted in the process, we have to re populate all our APIs & Plans every time. Sometimes these are breaking changes in patch versions, not documented. Sometimes its related to the actual upgrade process. Overall feeling is we're really not confident at each upgrade. It is very well designed from the beginning, and the API-first approach is what they do live. Intuitive UIs make orientation at the starting point easier. Having API and Events in the same place to work with is impressive and unique. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At begin the documentation was not that great, but they are working on a new one and in the meanwhile, the team was very supportive of getting what was needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gravitee is a low-code, no-XML policy configuration, highly customizable API management platform with a performant API gateway and fully open source. It uses plugins to manage policies and offers over 100 plugins, with the ability to create your own.
The platform provides adaptive multi-factor authentication and native identity and access management features.
User-friendly interface for configuring policies and rules for APIs and API plans, along with a portal that exposes available APIs and associated documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't encountered any other issues with Gravitee that I know of or use on a daily basis, except for the need for a more user-friendly UI in the API developer portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The intuitive interface allowed me to manage access easily, permissions and security policies for my APIs, which greatly simplified organizing my APIs.
The log system is resilient and gives me better visibility of my APIs despite many calls (3 million per month). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ergonomics of the gateway administration interface could be optimized, especially when publishing an API that requires many clicks. The gravitee.io tool is relatively easy to learn with some practice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, the Alert Engine as it helps our producers and consumer. We have worked with Gravitee for a while - the team behind it is continuously bringing great new features that I love Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not one thing jumping straight to my head. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The logging part of gravitee is the most helpfull part. Most of the time we made machine to machine communication, so therefore the logging is extremly good to know what is happening! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of updates is kindly too high. Therefore there are in every version some small but obvious issues. I would suggest to make less releases but then more "stable" versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
