I love that everything you need to write, submit, and track your grant applications is all in one place. It is super easy to use and includes thorough details for your grant tracking needs. You can have multiple users and assign grants to specific users. It sends email reminders when due dates or report dates are approaching, and you can clearly see all your grant opportunities in one place. It's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only challenge for me was sorting through GrantHub's definitions of "funders" and "opportunities". That posed some confusion for our team during the import process when we transferred all of our grant data from a spreadsheet into the software system. Once you get the hang of it though, it's not a big deal. But we would save notes for grant opportunities that we were interested in, even if we had not applied or weren't going to apply for the year. But GrantHub would just have you list them as a "funder" since you're not actively pursuing an opportunity with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite feature is the ability to assign tasks and use the system as a tickler file for reporting and follow-up. This program has helped the project directors stay on task once they activate their email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides I have experienced are the limitation of assigning only one individual to a grant and the requirement for project directors to activate their accounts. I definitely like how the Home page is a simple design, easy to read/understand at first glance. The design is clear, with easy to use drop-down menus with the ability to add additional categories not listed. The reminder feature is definitely a plus. There seems to be some bugs to work out? Sometimes after filling in all the info for a grant and click Save, it seems to disappear, which is frustrating. And the Status Filter feature doesn't work.
