In Gorilla PDF, the best part is that it's a web-based PDF editor, so it does not block the user from installing the app on their device. I believe a web-based PDF editor responds to users more quickly. Despite the fact that you can convert a variety of formats to PDF, such as word, excel, JPG, and PPT. That it won't ask you for any charges. This application can serve small, midsize, and large. Additionally, it is available in different languages, making it easier to use. Also providing the option for merging, encrypting the PDF files for the user safety. Even though we have the option of PDF readers which make it extra ordinary from other apps in the market. My understanding is that there is no need to dislike something, but it would be great if we could incorporate a conversion option from PDF to different formats that are heavily used in the marlet. It would be great if we could add the ability to edit the PDF files. If we can add the option of converting it to zip files and compressing it. Here's what I liked the most about GorillaPDF:

1. It's free: Yes, it's 100% free. I don't know how the team will sustain this in the long run; maybe they will choose to stay on a freemium model with tight limits or ads. But, at the time of writing, it's 100% free.

2. It's ad-free: I don't use an ad-blocker, but to my surprise, there isn't even a single ad on this website. It's so clean and distraction-free.

3. Generous limits: Yes, there are limits, but they are not so strict. Let's say I want to convert a text file to PDF; it's 50 MB per file (at the time of writing). I don't think you will find such generous limits anywhere. For jpeg to PDF, it's 100 MB. It might sound low to someone, but it's a lot generous. I have purchased Sejda PDF premium to deal with large files. Plus, there are no time limits, or I found none, which is impressive.

4. Lots of tools: To my surprise, it offers many tools that are hard to find elsewhere under one roof. You can convert many file formats to PDF, and they are adding more.

5. Loved their mission: I have not noticed an about page, except for GorillaPDF. They are working to promote the paperless culture, and I was able to resonate with it. Such details help connect better with customers.

Well, a lot to dislike:

1. Unreliable - Most of the time, you can't convert your files as it just throws the typical 'something went wrong' error. And it happens after you're done uploading the files. It just makes it a bit unreliable to use. I use it when I am not close to deadlines. It wastes a lot of time if I upload a large file only to see that it failed to convert. On average, it works 6 out of 10 times.

2. Lack of basic tools: Well, it's really strange. They do have some very unique tools but lack some essential ones. It should be fine for some, but it's hard to switch for me. For instance, it does not have any feature to remove watermarks, crop PDFs, etc.

3. Slow support: A few days back, I tried to bring these issues through their contact form but never received any reply. They might have taken steps to rectify this, but at least they should reply that they have read that.

4. No app: I am a fan of apps. They make the experience faster and work reliably well during connectivity problems. They are fans of web apps. Not an issue, but worth a point.

The main part is the online converters are free. It offers many tools in a single platform without any costs, which helps a lot of people save tons of time and money. The fact that it's intuitive. Most PDF programs are quite complex and the UI is horrible or difficult to navigate. One thing I appreciate about GorillaPDF is that it's easy to use - for new users too. You can easily train members who will get it after 1 training session because of how easy it is to navigate on and use. Once you convert to pdf, there is no editing with this. You would need adobe or some other pdf editing program to edit the pdf after you convert it in gorilla.
