It is also fairly easy to find a solution for a problem you may have on their forums online, where their support team often has a helpful answer to reference. **What do you dislike about Google Web Designer?** This program can be very buggy, especially when trying to change elements after you have animated it. One of the ways it shone was how it integrated so seamlessly with Google's Doubleclick studio for serving ads. It made the upload process a cinch! Which is really important if you're building 20+ animated ads a day. It's animation tools were simple to use - which is key if the user has little to no coding experience. **What do you dislike about Google Web Designer?** GWD was built to be simple and easy to use. What this means is that you lose advanced animating features. I ended up preferring Adobe Edge Animate (now Adobe Animate) for the way you could create and control animation sequences. GWD will allow you to control the entrance, exit, position, and transparency of objects... so creating slideshows or on/off animations work well. However if you want to have fighter jets (with animated jet streams trailing behind) flying across a sun-flared sky (which I have done) this program wouldn't be able to animate it in-app. Rather you'd need to build it in another program and then bring it in as a video. (Which has related serving costs) **Recommendations to others considering Google Web Designer:** If you're using Google Doubleclick Studio to serve ads - this integrates extremely well. As long as you're not doing anything too fancy animation-wise - this should probably be your go-to program for online ad building. **What problems is Google Web Designer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quick and easy upload to Doubleclick studio. Anyone familiar with video editors will recognize the “Quick” animation mode with simple keyframes or the “Advanced” mode with a frame timeline. **What do you dislike about Google Web Designer?** Despite its name, this is not a typical web design application. Some marketing messages give that impression, but Google Web Designer is primarily a tool for creating CSS3 animations on HTML5-based adverts. While it would be possible to create web pages, it’s not the right tool for the job. Give this a shot! **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Callum L. | Agency Owner, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2016 **What do you like best about Google Web Designer?** It's never been easier for a user with little code and design skills to create their own html advertisements! the software comes with a handful of templates to start creating banner ads with. once you've created your banner, you can integrate your new banner with any number of your Google ad-sense or ad words campaigns to further push your brand. the software doesn't necessarily serve that much of a purpose when promoting my own brand (small scale) but perhaps to larger company/brand then the ease to generate new advertisements on the fly will be an amazing addition to their marketing/design department. **What do you dislike about Google Web Designer?** it seems a bit basic, as a coder, the more complicated the User interface, the more comfortable i feel (I like as many bells and whistles as possible to give me the impression that the software can be configured to suit my needs at any time. **What problems is Google Web Designer solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is an amazing tool which will enable me to sell custom banners to my customers with little time spent designing and coding the banner. the banner can be published strait to the user Google account so my customers are able to easily manage their advertisement which means the system is relatively low-maintenance on my end of things. ### 39. At first you need to select one of the listed size or set the custom resolution of the advertisement depending upon your wish. **What do you dislike about Google Web Designer?** It is not as good as Adobe Dreamweaver or Adobe Muse.
