Creating VPC in gcp cloud is fairly simple and gives you lot of scaling options across google 25 region and 75 zones all around the globe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The capacity to have different subnets inside a similar VPC organization taking into consideration effectively development if IP space is over-designated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The current VPC peering usefulness is deficient in the capacity to share custom courses between other VPC organizations, expected to get on-prem courses to non-VPN associated VPCs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

we apply vpc service control for restricting the access of GCS and bigquery from an outside organization network. Bigquery and gcs access from anywhere you can't restrict using another way so we have to use vpc service control for that Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Google VPC Service Controls?

I like the freedom to build custom networks and subnet groups by zones, in addition to using tags with the integrated firewall to limit access to virtual machines. By combining the VPC with the access level I can even limit access from a specific range or IP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google VPC Service Controls?

One of the problems encountered is the lack of being able to visualize the structure of the armed network in a more graphic way, that would make it much easier for architects to design more complex networks in a less abstract way and also to be able to graphically show the customer what is being sold . Recommendations to others considering Google VPC Service Controls:

VPC is a very powerful security and access limitation tool, but to fully exploit its potential it is advisable to combine it with other Google tools such as IAM or access level Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We work in an integrated solution with VPC and access level, where we limit access to Bigquery from the IP of our secure zone, we also work to limit access to virtual machines by tag Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
