While I appreciate Google VPC's capabilities, I sometimes struggle with its complex configuration, occasional cost surprises, and limited native support for certain legacy systems, forcing workarounds that can feel kludgy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Google Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) is that it provides a highly secure, flexible, and scalable networking solution for businesses of any size. With Google VPC, you can create and manage your own isolated virtual network environment in the cloud, with complete control over your IP addresses, subnets, firewall rules, and routing tables. This allows you to securely connect your cloud resources and services while also integrating them with your on-premises infrastructure, giving you the flexibility to meet your specific networking requirements. Additionally, Google VPC offers advanced security features such as private communication between instances, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection, and identity and access management, which help ensure the safety and integrity of your data. While Google Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) offers several benefits, there are also some potential downsides to consider. One of the biggest drawbacks is that setting up and managing a VPC can be complex and time-consuming, particularly for businesses with limited networking expertise. Additionally, there can be significant costs associated with running a VPC, especially if you require advanced networking features or large amounts of data transfer. Finally, while Google VPC offers advanced security features, it's ultimately up to the user to ensure that their VPC is configured securely, which can require additional expertise and effort. The best part about Google VPC is it's high availability. It provides users almost zero to null down time and hence never impacts the business of users. As it's of Google, it boasts high and easy integration. It's also cost effective when compared to competition like azure and amazon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the problem is the Google platform dependency. As compared to azure it has less straight integration hence less user friendly. In terms of features it lacks behind the likes of AWS. For small businesses, costs can be reduced so that they can use the VPC without draining their pockets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having used all the major cloud providers, I can surely say that Google VPC is the best one out there. Unlike others, GCP provides a global VPC that helps deploy subnets in multiple regions. This makes the infrastructure setup hassle-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI for creating a VPC in GCP can be more detailed and instructive which can help beginners use the console in a better way. However, for experienced folks, the UI is up to the mark Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Creating private and public subnets and adding GCP resources without any hassle is one of the best use case of VPC. As compared to other cloud VPC it is more customizable and easy to manage Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although ACL controls can be improvised but overall it is going in right direction for controlling and managing subnets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
