Google Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) Pros and Cons

In organization, I have been using Google Cloud Platform to migrate onprem applications. Main reason to use google cloud is it has feature like scalability, performance and, using the cloud you can reach globally,it has wide network availability all over the world. I have been using a client side google cloud account, so it didn't debit any money from my account. But it is quite risky for the people who use their personal bank account , after free trial it might be possible some amount will deducted from your account. Being able to use most of the features 9f product which are found best uses for our projects can be VPN and VPN networks anf flow logs for servers.

The community support lags when it comes to Google VPC. Like AWS, it does not have enthusiasts who are actively answering the problems that we face hence making it a bit difficult when it comes to ease of implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about GCP VPC is its setup. A VPC is a global resource and the subnets are regional resources, so whenever we integrate VPC with other resources in GCP, it is super easy to set up, it is flexible, scalable, and secure as well. The least favorable factor in VPC is if we select the default firewalls while setting up the VPC, it can give a lot of access to the internet i.e. at 0.0.0.0/0. The other downside is that when there is a complex use case or we need to work on shared vpc, we face a lot of limitations, which we are unaware of before performing it. What I mostly like about Google VPC is easy to use. The first cloud I used is GCP and made my journey easy and it provides googles security. And GCP is cheaper than other clouds. Best solution for companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
