Through Vertex AI Workbench, Vertex AI is natively integrated with BigQuery, Dataproc, and Spark. You can use BigQuery ML to create and execute machine learning models in BigQuery using standard SQL queries on existing business intelligence tools and spreadsheets, or you can export datasets from BigQuery directly into Vertex AI Workbench and run your models from there. Use Vertex Data Labeling to generate highly accurate labels for your data collection.

What do you like best about Vertex AI?

GCP has some of the best ML and Data Science workflow among the public cloud providers. Their services are well built, easy to use, and well documented. It is also well integrated with other GCP services, saving time in development where we do not have to spend time configuring the services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vertex AI?

GCP keeps on rapidly changing its offerings. While this is good, Vertex AI is their third iteration, and Google is notorious for deprecating old services once new versions are released. Terraform supporting is being added slowly. MLOps needs proper documentation and example architectures and patterns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vertex AI solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vertex AI is well integrated with existing GCP services, which is especially beneficial for customers with workloads running in GCP.
