It is easy to create an online data entry form by using google forms. Publishing is also easier and full of fun with google forms. I like it's simplicity and user friendly features very much. It is easy to connect online data entry form with an excel workbook to store the data and to analyse or other process in the excel sheet. If the created data form is connected with an excel workbook, the data entered online by user is automatically transfers to the workbook. You can see the data in excel file, separately and apply formulae or the required process on this data.

You can also control the privacy setting of the data entry form. You can set it to a private form, or to a public usable form. To set it as private, set the form accessible only to those who have been invited to contribute in it. Google form has limited customization tools so that the forms created by using it does not look in a professional way. Hence, only a simple looking data entry form which does not need any type of professional look, can be created by using this app. It is free and easy to use, but it's non-professional and non-dynamic look is highly disappointing.

It has no formatting or decorating tool. If there are something, it is too much limited.

Least helpful in Google Forms is the absence of customization. It should provide options to customize the forms with images, typography, logos etc.
