I enjoyed a number of features of the Cloud Translation API, including:
the excellent translation quality.
its wide range of language support.
the simplicity of integration and deployment into my applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
However, I wasn't entirely satisfied with a few features of the Cloud Translation API:
Cost: The rates may be too expensive, particularly for large-scale translation requirements.
Domain-Specific and Contextual Restrictions: Depending on the situation, a word may have several meanings. These subtleties are frequently missed by the API, leading to erroneous translations.
Security Issues: I'm concerned about latency in some applications and data privacy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It just works. Seriously, for basic translation needs, it’s reliable and fast. The fact that it supports so many languages out of the box saves us time.no need to hack together custom solutions for rare dialects. The pricing is clear (pay-as-you-go) and scales well for big projects. Integration with other Google Cloud services is smooth, and the documentation is decent. I also like the glossary feature; it helps keep brand-specific terms consistent across translations. For quick tasks, like translating user comments or product descriptions, it’s a lifesaver. Good for everyday use, but don’t expect magic. You’ll still need human eyes for critical stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about Google Cloud Translation API is wide language support and the other is ease of intergration . Simple REST or gRPC APIs and robust client libraries make integration quick and straightforward, even for developers new to Google Cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing that bothers me alot is that pricing-per-using that is like translation costs are based on the number of characters processed, which can become expensive for applications with large volumes of text or frequent usage Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Google Cloud Translation API is the best for translation because it translates exactly the data we provide for translation, without adding or subtracting anything. This ensures that the data we provide to Google Cloud API is translated accurately, allowing new translators to trust the translation without any errors. The best part about Google Cloud Translation is that it is available for free to everyone, and anyone can use it without hesitation, and it is very convenient to use. Yes, I don't like the Google Cloud Translation API for some reasons. The biggest reason is that it doesn't translate sentences correctly by understanding them on its own. As a result, when we provide data for translation, this Google Cloud API translates the same thing, even though some words have different meanings. There is a lot of need for improvement here because nowadays there are so many AI platforms whose memory is so sharp that if you give them just a few keywords, they will describe a lot to you. Therefore, to stay in this competition, Google Cloud AI also needs to improve itself. Otherwise, everyone will start using AI tools, even if they have to pay, because when you get a very good result with just a little detail, people are now willing to pay. Cloud Translation API gave us a one stop solution to handle chat service requests in multiple languages so that our customers were not limited by their language of choice. I struggled a bit in the starting with the documentations as a developer new to use this service.
The implementation can be a bit daunting, there should also be clear outlines for the API pricings for small or personal projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Google Cloud Translation API has proven itself as a reliable, high-quality translation solution. It delivers translations at remarkable speed, which is essential for businesses needing real-time or near-real-time language processing. The quality of translation, especially for popular languages, is impressive and is constantly improving due to Google’s investment in NLP and machine learning. Integrating the API with other Google Cloud services is seamless, and the developer-friendly documentation makes setup and implementation straightforward.
The API supports both neural machine translation and customizable translation models, which is a big plus for businesses looking to tailor translations to industry-specific terminology. The feature to detect languages automatically also saves time and processing power, enhancing user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing structure of the Google Cloud Translation API can quickly escalate with high-volume use, particularly for smaller businesses or startups on a budget. While the API performs well for widely spoken languages, the quality can be hit-or-miss with niche languages or dialects. Additionally, customization options are somewhat limited in comparison to other enterprise-level translation solutions, which can be a drawback for users with unique or highly specific translation requirements. From my experience in using Google Cloud Translation API, I'd say it's execution speed a long with it's ease of implementation and integration in various different applications and usages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From my experience in using Google Cloud Translation API, I'd say the starter overview provided is simple and easy to understand but it lacks in covering numerous features and princple points that are argubaly considered as key features be used a long the way of using Google Cloud Translation API.
I'd suggest more short turtorial videos to be availble somewhere on the platform or YouTube covering usage of key features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked the ease of integrating the entire module into my project and the guides available to implement the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I faced issues when it came to limitations on a free version of the product. As a student, I can barely afford to spend on a basic version to just get a good accuracy on conversion of languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
