Apart from that it's GKE is one of the best managed solutions for orchestration, also GCS, Bigquery and many other solutions which Google Cloud provide are best and team is automating and innovating as well. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity Platform?** Account creation for a newbie is quite hectic as it requires card and many details. **What problems is Google Cloud Identity Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are deploying of microservice based application on GKE and uses many services of gcp in that and its solutions(GKE, Artifact Registry and many more) help us in management and other purposes. ### 2. To have multiple layer of security, from here, you can enable multi-factor authentication. You can also manage the same users of different accounts from the Google Cloud Identity platform, i.e. single sign-on (SSO). You can also provide users programmatic access to your google cloud account through the Google Cloud Identity platform. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity Platform?** One of the significant disadvantages is that it's not a cloud-agnostic service, and you rely entirely on Google. You cannot customise according to your company policies, and you can see only a few customisation options. **What problems is Google Cloud Identity Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** When it comes to managing multiple users, it makes such tasks easy to set up and integrate and also generates reports for audit purposes. The user interface is easy to use, and can access IAM resources (roles & permissions). * ease of use * support for multiple access types **What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity Platform?** Switch over between accounts when you have multiple GCP accounts. It makes it hard to work on the UI. A resource filter is hard to create and manage. everything else is fine. **What problems is Google Cloud Identity Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Google Cloud Identity and Access Management allow admins to limit and control user activities based on their roles and responsibilities. Google Cloud IAM provides a hierarchical structure. The primary step of Cloud IAM Google follows the authentication of each user. We can create groups, and the admin has control to assign permissions to users and groups that allow them to perform specific actions/services. Roles are groups of licenses, and the admin can assign roles through policies to each user or group. Users can authenticate in three ways: user account, service account and API key. Google Cloud IAM specifies two types of groups: all authenticated users and all users. Another fantastic feature is the planet-scale infrastructure that comes with enterprise-grade support and SLA to meet the demands of virtually any app and service. **What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity Platform?** The only feature that I dislike is although the account is intelligently protected, it is challenging to complete the multi-factor authentication if you don't have access to your mobile. And, the silos are not unique, so different users have individual silos. It is also somewhat difficult to scale the platform. **What problems is Google Cloud Identity Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can solve the sign-in onto the accounts in a very short span of time.
