What do you like best about GoodAccess?

What I like most about GoodAccess is how stable and reliable it is for our work. We're using it in a consortium project that involves sensitive radiology data, and it's been great for ensuring smooth distributed learning. Plus, their customer support is fantastic—whenever we’ve had questions, they’ve been super quick and helpful in resolving them! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

GoodAccess works well most of the time, but there are occasional connectivity hiccups that can interrupt workflows. It's not a dealbreaker, and the team is actively addressing these issues, but having more seamless connectivity would definitely make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

Previously we worked with VPNs where creating users was annoying, the interface we used required a lot of clicks and the presentation on the web was quite disastrous. Also, when you wanted to acquire licenses, you had to send an email.

The management of devices was the same, each device was not clearly differentiated in the interface.

When we acquired GoodAccess, that was one of the things that changed most drastically, the interface and user experience is pleasant, easy and intuitive.

Apart from that, Good Access provides basic information about the security of the connected devices, allowing us to find a solution when we see that some device is neglecting that aspect.

Another advantage is that it shows us connection statistics, allowing us to monitor whether or not the remote workstations are connected at their hours.

Good Access VPN exceeded our expectations and opened up a range of possibilities for us as it has many configurations that can be adopted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

As I said, user management is easy, it doesn't cost anything to register new users or delete them. However, to do so you must have licenses.

This section is a bit more annoying. If you want to buy licenses it's very easy, you select the quantity and buy online. In 1 minute, you have your new licenses.

Now, if for example, you close a computer and want to cancel 10 licenses, you must write an email to request it.

It's not a problem, because in a matter of 24 hours, they have answered you and done the paperwork, but honestly, I think it would be much better if there was an automatic process, like for registering licenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

We rely on Good Access for managing equipment across different global locations. Certain devices require specific access controls and dedicated IP addresses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

What I appreciate most about GoodAccess is its user-friendly interface and seamless integration into our workflow. The platform offers a straightforward setup process, allowing our team to establish secure connections swiftly. Its reliability ensures consistent performance, which is crucial for our daily operations. Overall, GoodAccess enhances our productivity by providing a secure and efficient VPN solution tailored to our business needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

I honestly have no dislikes about GoodAccess. Everything works seamlessly for me, and I truly appreciate the reliability and user-friendly experience it provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

GoodAccess addresses two key challenges for us: the need for a fixed IP address and a reliable business VPN solution. By providing a secure and consistent connection, it allows us to streamline remote access for our team while maintaining strict control over network security. The fixed IP ensures stability and compatibility with our systems, while the VPN enhances data protection and facilitates seamless collaboration across our distributed workforce. This combination significantly boosts productivity and peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

The standout feature of GoodAccess is its user-friendly interface. Unlike some competitors that require complex configurations, GoodAccess offers a straightforward setup process that doesn't compromise on security. Whether you're a tech professional or a regular user, the learning curve is minimal. After spending four months with GoodAccess and having extensive experience with other VPN solutions like Twingate and OpenVPN, I can confidently say that GoodAccess has become my go-to choice for secure remote access.

Throughout my four-month usage period, I've experienced consistent performance without the frequent disconnections or speed issues that often plague other VPN solutions. The connection remains stable even during extended work sessions.

Security Features

While maintaining simplicity, GoodAccess doesn't cut corners on security. The platform offers robust encryption and security protocols that meet industry standards, providing peace of mind for business users. GoodAccess is also SOC2 Type 2 compliant which was a basic must-need for my company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

GoodAccess is easy to use for our users and implementing it was only delayed by our own topics. It's being used daily for many hours for the whole company.

GoodAccess went above and beyond to accomodate new features required for us to roll out the site2site VPNs with customers on a tight timeline. Their customer support answers quickly and acts proactively.

We haven't faced any performance issues caused by GoodAccess, only by our own unstable network connections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

We'd appreciate having more potential gateway locations in Canada (e.g. Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg) and Bangladesh (e.g. Dhaka). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows us to whitelist IPs for certain tools and also establishing site to site VPNs with customers with tight access control. Both helps to increase our security posture and supports our ISO-27001:2022 certification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

Gateways are very easy to set up. For small organization needing to secure a network with VPN without dealing with the infrastructure this is awesome. Their configuration and monitoring interface is incredible : it makes hard things look easy. For most of our tools, we moved from private networks to IP whitelisting using our Good Access gateways Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

I don't really like the maturity of there payment processing that almost force you to start with a yearly subscription, making monthly subscriptions payment fail... seems that their integration with Stripe is broken. Might have been fixed though.

It's not a blocker since the quality of service and features would have led me into buying yearly subscriptions anyway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

I needed a business VPN with easy onboarding / offboarding of members. Without the hassle of maintaining my own VPN workloads or with expensive services. Needed also to secure my internal workloads (databases, build servers, monitoring stack) without dealing with complex network topologies. Good Access makes it simple : deny all traffic except from GA Gateway. Firewalls are easy to configure !

Then the granularity of the access to workloads is very easy to manage with their badge system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

We've never suffered from any outages of our service which has been a big help to our business as a lot of our tools rely on a steady and restricted IP address. Customer service have always been very friendly and resolve issues quickly and are willing to negotiate on pricing of plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

There isn't much that we dislike about the service we get, it would be good to have a few more other features available. Allowing a more flexible use of gateways or a more varied collection of gateways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

We require access to tools with IP restrictions in place, using good access allows our users from different satelite offices to access with the same IP. We also offer international products so sometimes we require a connection that looks like it's an international user so we can test our environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

I like it the way you can set up your team... A lot of good features. Great customer support. I use it daily for security purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

I don't use the app they provided because it will also let IPV6 pass through.. so I had to use OpenVPN app or Velocity (mac)... but no biggie, it gives you the necessary credentials to use other app besides their built in one. In fact I use several VPNs so Velocity let's me switch between them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to connect using a STATIC IP... its the easiest one I have found to use. I can use my own client without having to use theirs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

Very easy deployment, with a lot of online help through their Support Portal. So far we had absolutely no issues with the connection, it remains stable and fast throughout the day. Apps are simple and easy to use - we use them on Windows, Mac and iOS devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

The trial period should have been a bit longer, 14 days is really not enough for all the testing; probably 30 days would be more appropriate, especially since this is a business solution. I have found out through their support team, that only 1 mobile device and 1 tablet/pc can use the connection at any given time - this information should be more visible on the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

Can control access to our web based Patient management software through private Gateway (ip locking). We can ensure that access is only permitted from Company managed devices (running Good Access) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoodAccess?

I use a VPN and static IP for my team. The service allows e to simply invite team members. The installation is very simple and the service is of great performance. No downtime. Simple on/off.

Also, I get clear insights for the usage of my team members.

I used other services before but this is by far the best manageable one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoodAccess?

Nothing. I have no comments to add on the service. No downsides. ........................................................................................................... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoodAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

Certain customers open a specific IP for us to use when entering through their Firewall. I am using this service for allowing this static IP for certain team members Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
