What do you like best about GoLinks?

It saves me a ton of time and makes it exceptionally easy for me to find relevant documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLinks?

While I love it, the enterprise costs are relatively steep which ultimately led to my company canceling our membership. I'd still personally advocate that we re-up our membership since it should save a TON of time if it has sufficient utilization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoLinks?

I love the simplicity of just using go links in an intuitive manner, where I can just assume what I need with the particular go term. JIRA? go/jira. AWS? go/aws. (Note that this is making use of the GoLinks browser extension). I have had extensive experience with go links internally implemented within LinkedIn, and I must say that the accessible to all GoLinks implementation goes far and beyond that! Tracking, edit permissions, and better templating support! (go/logs/dev, go/logs/stage, etc all in one GoLinks definitions). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLinks?

That you have to pay for the fancy features? All joking aside, everything works as intended and more, and its core functionality works very simply yet very well, which is all I really care for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GoLinks solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are a lot of important links that I need easy access to as an engineer, especially long ugly links that are used frequently. And engineering all use different browsers, so there wasn't a good way to share these until GoLinks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoLinks?

I love that I am able to visit complex URLs with quick phrases. This saves me so much time digging through bookmarks and allows me to quickly get to where I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLinks?

If I have an error, it brings me to google. I wish it would suggest the website I am trying to reach from my browsing history. I have to start over otherwise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GoLinks?

GoLinks is excellent for sharing links across the company. It's so easy to remember keywords rather than looking all over the place for a link. It's also so easy to create links and I love that you had keep some links hidden from team for your own workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoLinks does require you to still remember something, but you can always use the search function to find a keyword that will help you find the correct link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At a big company, there are a ton of links to remember. My coworkers and I spend a lot of time trying to remember where to find a specific resource. The most challenging part of go links is the naming convention. Big items are easy to find if they have an official name (go/golinks) but when things get really nice and I'm looking for what I might think to look for is not an active go link (go/usecaseexampes) so it's extremely hard to guess where the links might go. What do you like best about GoLinks?

The fast travels to alle the different pages we have internally. There is so much pages to look for and Golinks make it a lot easier to travel between all the different internal information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming if you are not used to use Golinks. The perfect thing would be if you have a automated update every month with all the usefull information of your golinks in there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
