I have used Goldwave for many years. In the beginning, it was my go-to software for editing audio files. I enjoy the visuals and the ability to change the visuals and interfaces colors. Easily the main thing that I dislike about Goldwave is the lack of a multitrack. If it had a multitrack option, I would use it over Adobe Audition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like many things of GoldWave, to begin it is very easy to work with the application, it allows me to edit several files at the same time, that later I can combine them in a single work, it incorporates many effects that I use in the edition of the sounds, to the It allows me to create my own and thus enrich the quality of the sound. I started using it because it allows me to remaster the old vinyl records that if I do not use the program, the digital audio quality would never have been the same. The least I like is that when using large files the application slows down, making the editing of large files annoying, I suggest that this important detail be fixed, on the other hand it is important to point out that it is not compatible with other operating systems such as MAC and Android. I'm not a specialist audiophile but rather in some cases I have to record, alter, change over and join sound documents and goldwave does that and all the more extremely well. I've been client of Goldwave since couple of years. Golwave is my favored apparatus for arrange change and sound release. It is simple and exceptionally entire. It is incredible!

I had tried other programs to cut long audio files, and this is the best one I have found. It is easy to use with right click options rather than only drop down. You can have multiple windows open, which lends itself well to editing multiple songs within a long file. I have also had much success with the sound equalizer to improve the quality of the audio. They updated about a year ago and changed the location and names of some of the options. It took me a long time to get used to the new interface.
