For the virtual learning aspect, it is an amazing tool to make sure students are on track and not off task! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing at all. I have enjoyed every aspect of it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful application of GoGuardian is the ability to monitor what students are doing on their device while online in my classroom.
Also very important is the ability to focus students onto the lessons at hand. Communicating one to one, or to the whole group is exceedingly helpful for differentiating and identifying who might need help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside is I can't use it for remote learning with students devices spread out through the city. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GoGuardian provides educators with a way to monitor, communicate, and redirect students that are using a device connected with their Google accounts. I used it prior to the pandemic, and, when we went virtual, my teaching life was way easier, especially already having been familiar with the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike is the inability to connect students not on a Google account. However, it is a small price to pay and not an issue when you are physically in school using the Google Chromebooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that this integrates well with Google Classroom and is an easy platform for teachers to work with is a huge plus! Teachers enjoy the fact that they can not only see what students are doing in real time, but can also shut it down if they nee d to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only dislike is that as the IT person it can be difficult to see what students are doing in real time. If this feature could be fixed it would allow for ease of operations across the fleet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Scheduling is extremely easy and intuitive, with various options at your disposal to create options for your students. Additionally, there is very little maintenance once you have created your "base" calendar for classes during the day - just let it run! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no integration with Google Docs or Google Admin, so a teacher is left to create workarounds for directly monitoring student work and maintaining passwords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like being able to view and control my students' screens. This helps to keep all students on track and Go Guardian limits their access to websites that I don't approve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Go Guardian has a bit of a learning curve but it's not too bad compared to other screen monitoring programs. Some features of Go Guardian must be set up/approved by your district. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GoGuardian Teacher allows teachers to leverage the internet tools necessary to organize, create, and monitor student's progress while maintaining communication and fostering learning both inside and out of the classroom setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides to GoGuardian Teacher is that technically it can get difficult to navigate the many screens and the learning curve for new users and those less tech savvy may find it difficult to use on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This program was a life saver during my time virtual teaching. It helped me keep tabs on what my students were working on and if they were on task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That every district does not utilize it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything! But seriously the ability to see every student's screen and their other tabs is so helpful. You can block certain sites or make it to where only one site is accessible for that session. I also like that I can see how long they have been idle and how long they have been working. It's very useful when I am gone and I can see how my students used their time with a sub. The chat feature also comes in handy when I am gone and can be online. I can monitor my student's activity and I'm available to help them with anything that they may need me for. I also really love the ability to be able to schedule sessions. They automatically start every class period and I never have to worry about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there really isn't anything I dislike about GoGuardian. The only thing that ever got on my nerves was the issue of not being able to control the students' screen if they were logged in another teacher's session still, but they added a feature to fix that! I could not teach virtually without being able to force open tabs for lost students! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could fully take over their screens sometimes! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
