Go Guardian is a great software to be able to monitor student on-line usage. You can privately message students, close tabs, take screenshots and monitor what websites they are using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our district has disabled the ability to see what students are doing when not in-school on our network, which is difficult to monitor students that may be working virtually from home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GoGuardian allows me to check in on my students' work but not hover over their shoulders. I can see what they are working on and make suggestions to their progress. I can also close or open their tabs to make sure they are on task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Of course, I love the ability to see all of my student's screens at once, but I'm really enjoying the capability to customize each class period's list of blocked sites, restrictions, timing, etc. It's a no-brainer--any district, school, or classroom that is one-to-one MUST have GoGuardian to ensure student safety and success. Anyone in any discipline who oversees or is responsible for monitoring or communicating with multiple users via computer is doing themselves a disservice if they are not utilizing GoGuardian. I'm beyond elated that my district purchased it and has stayed with it for the past several years. Additionally, GoGuardian Teacher is easy and fun to use. Some of the features are disabled and some of them allow for minimum customization. I think everyone would benefit greatly if all of the "real-time" functions could be applied to every class/course as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is very little I actually dislike, but the one complaint I do have is that I wish that in teacher view mode, I could have more adjustability in screen size. Current options are 2, 4, 8, or 10 screens at a glance. I'd love to see it open to 3 as well, as sometimes 4 is still too small, and two is too large. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how I can schedule the times that I want go guardian to review my class. This way I can teach and check in with students after class if they are not using their time appropriately. I love that I can help students stay focused on work and not get sidetracked with additional sites. I like the chat option as well.
