It supports all the essential Git features you would expect, such as creating and cloning repositories, managing branches, merging, and handling pull requests but the best part it's cross-platform availablity I use mac for work and windows for my personal work it available for both the platform. The most likeable thing about Gogs aka Go Git Service is it's multi-language support and user friendly interface, making it accessible to a global users. Nothing much to dislike the software. But Searching from inside of the reports or data is a bit difficult. At times it fails and crashes but is not frequent. If the using OS is good then it won't crash. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Gogs is small, lightweight and super easy to set up because it supports Docker. I used it to keep a backup of my Git repositories in addition to my primary workstation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Gogs does not contain any system for CI or PR checks which makes it unsuitable for my workflow that involves a lot of jobs being run automatically by the Git-host's CI system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Allows easy collaboration on repositories and seeing what changes have been applied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The development team at Gogs has cut thru all the crud and gotten right to the heart of the matter and created gogs as an easy to use "appliance" that you don't have to work at and work at in order to use. It just works and doesn't need a lot of attention to keep it working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
