GoFreight Pros and Cons

As my chair does both accounting procedures and logistics input, Go Freight allows me to not have to leave another computer program to either operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike is with this program is that when doing data on a shipment with multiple entry lines for each AMS#'s specific quantity and weight. The resulting Delivery Order lists the container # and seal # on the very bottom of the page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As someone who has used company specific freight management softwares, and Cargowise 1 before GF, I really like how clear and user friendly the graphic user interface is. It's very nice to look at and easy to navigate and customize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only thing I dislike about GF is that you cannot see all of your shipments in one place. It is always split out by AI, OI, AE, OR, MS, TK, and no option to view all together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is very easy to use, it has clear platform with different tabs for different data input. I also like how the system will remind you when you type in the wrong contrainer number or duplicate MBL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes I would use the copy function on previous shipment to input new shipment info, but the copy function is not as useful as some data won't show up under the invoice section even if I manually update the shipment info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a cloud based system which is very reliable most of the time. We do not have to worried about hardware issues in the office. In the past, anytime we have down internet, we would be worried about the backups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At times it get slow but that's not really at fault of GoFreight, it might be the cloud vendor they are using. Most of the time it gets slow during peak working hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Go Freight is probably one of the most easiest software to use i have encountered on my many years of being in the Freight Forwarding Industry. It is straightforward and have all the necessary field one would need in opening /tracing files and generating various reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downside so far i can consider is not being able to convert a quote into a live shipment. If this can be added , this software would then be perfect for SME. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
