"Secure and Reliable, Despite a Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about GoAnywhere MFT?

I like GoAnywhere MFT's ability to automate complex file transfers through an easy-to-use interface while maintaining strong security and centralized visibility. It saves me a lot of time and reduces errors by allowing me to set up workflows that run automatically, keeping things consistent and freeing up time for more important work. The built-in encryption and secure protocols give me peace of mind, ensuring sensitive data stays protected, which I find crucial for day-to-day operations. I also appreciate how well it integrates with databases, cloud storage, and APIs, making it a reliable bridge between different systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoAnywhere MFT?

A few areas of GoAnywhere MFT could definitely be improved. The user interface can feel a bit dated and not as intuitive as newer tools, especially for first-time users. While the workflow builder is powerful, it sometimes takes time to learn and navigate efficiently. Debugging and error handling could also be better. When a job fails, the logs can be detailed but not always easy to interpret, which can slow down troubleshooting. Lastly, pricing and licensing can be a bit on the higher side, especially for smaller teams, and some advanced features are locked behind additional costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Secure File Transfers, But Needs UI Improvements"
5/5
What do you like best about GoAnywhere MFT?

I like how GoAnywhere MFT makes everything simple and organized, as all file transfers are in one place, so I don't have to check multiple tools or systems. The workflow process is very smooth; it takes care of picking up files, processing them, and sending them to the right place on its own. This automation saves me a lot of time, and I don't have to worry about constant monitoring. Additionally, I can easily see if a file was sent successfully or if something failed, which makes troubleshooting steps easy. Setting up workflows once and having the system automatically handle everything is a major time saver. Managing file transfers is straightforward, as everything is centralized, and I can clearly see the status of each file transfer. The security aspect of the file transfer management gives me confidence, as everything is handled securely, allowing me to feel more assured about the data being shared. What do you dislike about GoAnywhere MFT?

When I first started using it, it took some time to understand where everything is and how to navigate properly. A more modern and user-friendly design would make things much easier. I have also faced some delays with customer support; they are helpful but response time can sometimes be slow which can affect work if there's an urgent issue. Also, while basic workflows are easy to create, more advanced ones can take time to configure and test; sometimes it is confusing and you need to spend extra time figuring things out. "Reliable for Securing File Transfers, But Interface Needs Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about GoAnywhere MFT?

I mainly use GoAnywhere MFT for secure file sharing between different environments, like app servers to storage or sending files to clients, which makes manual uploads unnecessary. What I like most about GoAnywhere MFT is that it just takes care of things in the background, so once it's set up, you don't have to keep checking it all the time. One thing that works really well is how easy it is to set up recurring jobs. You can just schedule them once, and they keep running without any issues. Also, the basic tracking is helpful; I can quickly see if something ran or not without too much effort. The recurring jobs reduce a lot of mistakes, and the tracking feature is useful because I can quickly check if everything ran as expected without digging too deep. Overall, GoAnywhere MFT makes things more predictable and less stressful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoAnywhere MFT?

I would say it feels a bit confusing at times, especially when you're trying to set up something new. The interface isn't the most intuitive, so you sometimes have to spend extra time figuring out. Also, when something fails, it's not always very clear what the exact issue is, which can be a bit frustrating. Understanding how to structure workflows properly took some time, especially figuring out the right way to connect different steps. Setting up permissions and getting everything aligned with our system was also not easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Security and Flexibility with GoAnywhere MFT"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GoAnywhere MFT?

I like the cloud connectors in GoAnywhere MFT as they provide prebuilt connectors for Salesforce, SharePoint, and AWS, allowing us to treat cloud storage just like a local folder in our workflow. I also like the secure mail feature for Outlook. The plugins let users send secure emails directly from Outlook, which is excellent as it automatically replaces large attachments with a secure link, keeping our mail server clear of heavy file storage. What do you dislike about GoAnywhere MFT?

Some things that I think need to improve is with the support portal navigation. Their support staff is great, but their online help portal and documentation can be a bit challenging. Finding the specific version release note or particular API guides often takes more clicks than it should. The automated PDF reports for audit logs look very technical and dry. I would like to see more modern, visual reporting templates that I could present directly to the executive or board members. Setting up the high availability cluster is where the complexity lies. Configuration with a gateway in the DMZ and load balancer requires a deep understanding of our network architecture. It's not a plug-and-play experience. It's difficult but very valuable after setting up everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Time-Saving Automation with Flexible Integrations"
4/5
What do you like best about GoAnywhere MFT?

One of the things I really like about Go Anywhere MFT is how secure it is.We handle a lot of sensitive data,so having built-in encryption and support for secure protocols like SFTP gives me confidence that our file transfers are protected.Another big plus for me is the automation capability. The workflow designer makes it easy to schedule and automate repetitive tasks like sending reports or syncing data between systems. It has honestly saved us a lot of time and errors.I also appreciate how flexible it is when it comes to integrations. We have been able to connect it with our existing systems including databases and cloud platforms without too much friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoAnywhere MFT?

One thing I don't particularly like is the initial set up process. It can be quite technical especially if you are trying to configure more advanced workflows or security settings. It is not beginner friendly.

The user interface is another area that can be improved. While it gets the job done,it feels a bit outdated compared to more modern platforms.A more intuitive and visually appealing UI would make a big difference.

Pricing is also something to consider. From my perspective,it can be a bit on the higher side especially for smaller organizations that might not need all the advanced features..

Lastly, while support is generally helpful, response times can sometimes be slower than expected which can be frustrating when dealing with urgent issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure and Automated File Transfers with GoAnywhere MFT"
5/5
What do you like best about GoAnywhere MFT?

I really like how easy it is to automate workflows with GoAnywhere MFT. It saves time and reduces the need for custom scripts while still being secure. I appreciate its use of encryption and secure protocols for transferring files, so there's no headache of data leakage. Also, the initial setup was good and easy, and it's well integrated with our systems, allowing us to move data between different environments without much hassle. For our mid-sized organization, it works very well without impacting performance and makes our engineers' lives easier on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoAnywhere MFT?

I feel the troubleshooting area is very hard to debug if a workflow fails, so most of our time goes to figuring out what logs are saying, and it requires a lot of engineer hours, so that should be improved. Also, the interface of the application is a bit outdated and can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Automation with Secure Protocols"
4/5
What do you like best about GoAnywhere MFT?

I like how easy GoAnywhere MFT makes automation, saving a lot of time by removing manual work and reducing the need for custom scripts. The interface is simple to use, which doesn't require deep scripting knowledge, allowing the team to work faster and focus on more critical tasks. I appreciate that it offers strong security features, making it reliable for handling sensitive data. Additionally, it integrates with APIs, cloud storage, internal servers, and monitoring and security tools, helping us track transfers and maintain reliability within our overall workflow. Moving to GoAnywhere MFT helped standardize processes, improve security, and automate workflows more effectively. Once set up, it runs smoothly, which is a big plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoAnywhere MFT?

One downside is that the UI feels a bit outdated to 2026 standards, also it's not always very intuitive. Also, troubleshooting can take some time when workflows fail, as the logs are not always super easy to understand, and hence we need to call a senior. The initial setup was manageable but not exactly straightforward. Basic installation was fine, but configuring workflow, integrations, and security settings took some time to fully get right. There is a bit of a learning curve at the start, especially for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Automated Secure File Transfers"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GoAnywhere MFT?

I use GoAnywhere MFT mainly for secure file transfer and automation, and I find it supports secure protocols like SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS, which keeps sensitive data encrypted and secure. I appreciate its central dashboard as it makes it easy to track jobs, check failures, and fix issues quickly, saving time and keeping everything more organized. I like being able to create workflows for file transfer without writing too much code, which saves a lot of time and reduces manual effort since it can run automatically based on schedules or events. The event-driven and scheduling features are invaluable as I can set jobs to run automatically at specific times or trigger them when a file arrives, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The central dashboard and logging offer full visibility of all jobs, making monitoring and troubleshooting much easier than traditional methods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoAnywhere MFT?

There are a few things in GoAnywhere MFT that I feel could be improved. One thing is the initial setup and configuration. It takes some time to properly set up workflows, connection, and partner configuration, especially if you are new to the tool. It is not very difficult, but it does require planning and some learning in the beginning. I also noticed that troubleshooting can still be a bit challenging in some cases. Even though logs are available, sometimes the error messages are not very clear, so it takes extra time to figure out the exact issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
