EFT ensures secure, efficient transfer of large files in split seconds. The Web Transfer Client provides Users an interface to send, share files and folders with internal and external users of the platform. Ability to encrypt and decrypt files with the openPGP option is magnificient.

The dropoff portal which ensures that files are sent to only inserted email addresses in the administrative Workspace - dropoff "Address Book" is a secured way to ensure files are sent to only assigned list provided by the administrator.

Secure measures to transfer super large files within the organization and externally.

Globalscape Electronic File Transfer requires intensive support and knowledge base requirements for High Availability installation.

A single mix-up in port (https-ssl, or sftp-ssh) numbers in the EFT solution and gateway connection, will clash sites and render issues in like regards.

Best practice doesn't recommend same value for port numbers on two different site anyway, except for separate IP provisioning and other exceptions which should be quite clear, as an administrator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) Intelligent automation folder monitor or file uploaded

2) Scripting capability by AWE

3) Easily manageable admin console

4) Web access capability for external users

5) Business Activity Monitoring capability is good

6) Mail Express integration is good

7) Workspace module a replacement for Mail Express

8) Verbose logging for AWE which will give more details on the issues

Few limitations:

1) When we try to download a file from a remote server and if file does not exist, then it should not be called file download failure, there should be some option to mark as success if no file exists.

2) It would be good to have if action succeeded besides if action failed in the event rules.

3) Good to have web admin interface to be able to access outside the servers with full features

4) Ability to configure different URLs for internal and external along with separate SSL cetificates

5) Good to have in built sync tool which is used to get the user history in terms of last connection date and time etc.

6) Good to record time stamps in the logs so we know what happened and when Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

advance workflow engine module not update with some versions. Latest globalscape version having automate 10, but actual latest version of automate is 11. so better to integrate latest version to globalscape when you release new versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The status screen really helps provide a clear view of all the movements happening past, present, and future. The overall event rules are simple to create and allow you to bypass scripting if that is not your strength. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EFT makes file sharing easy, you can log into web client or have the plugin right you mail app to send large files easily. My favorite thing about EFT is options for delivery.

I can set it to expire right after it is open. I require an account for NoN EFT users. It is very secure

The GUI for the software we use EFT Enterprise is simple enough that support of the entire environment can be managed by a limited number of resources, even for our use case which is close to 10,000 users across several different deployments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The way the EFT file system works can leave a little to be desired. It has some good functionality such as the ability to digitally mount other file shares and have them become part of it's file system, but are times we run into an issue with it's ability to apply permissions.

Globalscape's support team have always been very quick to repsond and very efficient at isolating and solving my problems. The app itself is very robust, but when you need expertise to sort out Vent Rules etc, the support team is top notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EFT's console could introduce some new features involving a better way to migrate to a newer version or more control in the process of creating event rules, applying changes is not as intuitive as it could be since you can't move in the administration console without applying or discharging changes in the current tab you were working on.
