The product support is excellent. **What do you dislike about Global Relay?** It seemed excessive for basic archiving without compliance-heavy requirements. It should offer modular plug-and-play features. I found the initial onboarding somewhat complex, and there is a steep learning curve. **What problems is Global Relay solving and how is that benefiting you?** We receive numerous compliance emails from the SEC and FINRA. Their robust compliance and archiving tools make it easy to store, track, and retrieve communications. For regular audits and internal analysis, we can effortlessly fetch emails from a specified date range and work with that information. ### 3. They were able to pull all of our Hosted Exchange data into the archive with minimal impact on my staff's time. We have found their user interface intuitive and easy to use, even for our less tech-savvy management personnel. As an agency bound by retention schedules and archiving of data, what seemed like an insurmountable task was made possible by Global Relay. Additionally, the Global Relay customer support team has been helpful and easy to work with the few times we have needed assistance since implementation. **What do you dislike about Global Relay?** I cannot think of any way in which Global Relay is least helpful. The only downfall we encountered was when, due to a court order, some of the email records which has been archived by Global Relay needed to be purged by the Global Relay staff and was not a task we could perform ourselves. (This is understandable but an inconvenience.) **What problems is Global Relay solving and how is that benefiting you?** We currently use their email, social media, and website archiving services. We are an agency that is open to public records requests, and as such we have data archiving and retention schedules in place to ensure all requests can be handled according to law. Global Relay has allowed us to turn manual, time-intensive processes into something manageable and relatively quick. Additionally, we are able to provide HR and Legal access to the information they need so they do not have to contact IT every time they want a search performed. ### 7. It does have a very user friendly implementation process along with excellent on demand customer support service It also have regular security patches with compliance enhancement. Global relay also supports integration with Microsoft office 365 journaling. **What do you dislike about Global Relay?** The cost can be relatively high for small scale companies. Due to its comprehensive features and compliance standard this comes with a deep learning curve for the IT adminstrators. They invoiced me $35k to download my archives. Horrendous cost for a single advisor practice. SEC/FINRA regs require archives retention for 6+ years so few options. They offered continued service to meet SEC regs for a lump-sum $15k. **What problems is Global Relay solving and how is that benefiting you?** SEC/FINRA regs require archiving of all electronic client communication ### 11. I've been forced to use this to monitor my own email for a one man financial services company for compliance purposes, which made it utterly useless to me. **What do you dislike about Global Relay?** Now that I've shut the business down, they auto-renew a yearly contract and continue to charge me monthly. It's like a gym membership that is a never ending loop to end. As a Data Analyst at a financial compliance company, I worked with well over a dozen different content management systems to monitor electronic communications, and Global Relay was by far the most efficient in terms of narrowing search results, load time, ease of scrolling, and interface. **What do you dislike about Global Relay?** Sometimes the default font in certain emails -- Courier New -- was very hard on the eyes. Additionally, Smarsh (a competitor) is superior in setting up a proximity set. **Recommendations to others considering Global Relay:** Do not be deterred by the price! It is the most efficient solution for your communication management--if you are endeavoring to enable your Chief Compliance Officers and/or outside vendors to easily navigate your communications looking for regulatory issues, then you need efficient software. **What problems is Global Relay solving and how is that benefiting you?** From a business perspective, time is money, of course, so Global Relay maximizes time like no other content management system. The emails load faster; they are sorted more efficiently; they were displayed for easy navigation. Time was not wasted with this system, unlike all of the others. It costs more but is worth every penny. ### 15.
