I wish it had volunteer hours tracking and a two-way sync with QuickBooks. Currently, we have to use an outside product to track our volunteer hours. The problems we run into with Quickbooks are lack of check number and deposit date synching, changes made to Givebutter transactions after sync don't re-sync, and changes made to transactions in QuickBooks don't update Givebutter. It has lots of free features that are fairly easy to use. Having our fundraising, event ticketing, and donor management in one place without platform fees has been a solid upgrade for our team. On the daily workflow side, the drag-and-drop campaign builder makes it quick to launch custom ticketing pages without needing a designer. We don't use the feature yet, but the option to have event sales and donor profiles automatically sync will save us from doing manual CSV exports and spreadsheet updates. Templated reports aren't great either. Even after upgrading, the reporting capabilities lack the depth needed for clean data exports. Adding clearer transaction breakdowns and more options for report templates, including customized reports, would make a huge difference for financial tracking. What I like best about Givebutter is how many fundraising tools are truly integrated into one platform and easy to use on a daily basis. I regularly use the campaign pages, peer‑to‑peer fundraising tools, event ticketing, donor management, and automated receipts, and having everything in one place has significantly streamlined our workflow.

The campaign setup process is especially helpful—being able to customize pages quickly, duplicate past campaigns, and adjust branding without technical support saves hours compared to platforms we’ve used in the past. The peer‑to‑peer fundraising features make it easy for supporters to create their own fundraising pages, which has expanded our reach without adding extra staff workload.

One of the biggest improvements to our workflow is the dashboard and reporting tools. I can easily track donations in real time, export donor data, and segment supporters for follow‑ups, which makes reporting and stewardship much more efficient.
