I had a pledge fulfilled outside of the direct link but to the correct event, but when I linked the transaction to the pledge, the money disappeared from the event's progress bar. **What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can now manage all of our donations in one place that isn't a spreadsheet. It was complex enough to handle this with a roll-up page so we could see overall event results, yet simple enough for nontechnical people to set up and maintain their pages. The platform was straightforward all the way through, from making changes to setting up payouts to getting their money and bank accounts set up. This simplicity was super impressive, with very few questions arising, and when assistance was needed, the Givebutter help chat and email were incredibly fast in providing the right answers. The platform was unique to our needs as no other platform offered what we required. Additionally, I found the platform to be truly free without hidden catches, which was wonderful for all the charities who could enter their offline donations for tracking. We were also really impressed with the variety of ways to make a donation, making the platform work out great for us. **What do you dislike about Givebutter?** There was one piece that probably they could improve a little bit, and that was setting up charities as beneficiaries as part of the setup. Since I was not associated with all the charities, we needed a representative from each charity to provide proof to the Givebutter staff in order to be set up as the beneficiary. We could set up the charity name and logo, but to actually set the charity as the beneficiary of the campaign, the process wasn't wasn't fully automated. The process was to reach out to the Givebutter staff with an email, and CC someone from the charity who could provide their EIN (their federal paperwork showing they were a charity) and then that beneficiary setup had to be done on the back end by the Givebutter staff. But that might be an area where they maybe can automate it. Maybe they could create an online form to do it and have the paperwork uploaded. But that was the only area I would call out that maybe could have been improved. **What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Givebutter allows us to run multiple campaigns smoothly, track both online and offline donations, and let charities manage their funds directly.
