"The documentation effect of GitBook is very beautiful"

What do you like best about GitBook?

1. The synchronization with the GitHub repository is excellent.

What do you dislike about GitBook?

It would be nice to have a local desktop application like GitHub Desktop, so I can edit documents locally, since real-time access to the Internet is not so easy in some countries or locality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GitBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

He can help us more easily manage and edit the documentation of our open source software projects, the important thing is that it generates documentation is also very beautiful, even if we do not know how to make a beautiful technical documentation for the team, using it will make this thing easier. "Gitbook almost perfectly bridges coding and documentation"

What do you like best about GitBook?

- Very easy to implement. Without external need, I had setup the docs within half an hour. I got a free call with support anyway but that was not needed at all.

- Development Workflow Integration: Easily edit documentation directly within our codebase or via Gitbook’s intuitive editor.

- Unified Documentation Platform: Supports both technical (including API endpoint docs) and user-friendly documentation in a single platform.

- GitHub and GitHub Actions Integration: Streamlined and efficient automation through GitHub integrations, which makes it possible to have docs updates in a flow whenever an update on the application is made.

- Nice looking documentation: I just like the layout of Gitbook. Which matters when people have to read your documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gitbook is not awesome, is exceptional."

What do you like best about GitBook?

Besides the incredible support that engages with the client, the service by itself is absolutely awesome. Functions like exporting to PDF, MD and other formats and the integrated AI to analyze and redact the documents are some of the game-changing features that Gitbook has to offer. What I like best about GitBook is the intuitive user interface, which makes it easy to create, organize, and publish content. The ability to collaborate with team members in real-time enhances efficiency and improves the quality of documentation. I particularly appreciate the integration with other tools as well as the quick and helpful responses from the support team – especially the personal and professional support from Rodrigo. What do you dislike about GitBook?

What I don't like so much about GitBook is the limited flexibility in customizing the design and layouts. It would be helpful to have more options for individual customization. Additionally, the loading times could sometimes be faster, especially with larger projects. What problems is GitBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

GitBook solves the problem for us at MOMO of making knowledge clear, centralized, and accessible to everyone. Instead of sending numerous files back and forth, we now work together in a single document – and in real-time! Changes are immediately visible to everyone, and no one asks anymore: 'Do you have the latest version?' This saves us time and nerves. Simply practical and clear!
