I like the simplified git reflog mapped to undo/redo keybord shortcuts. It intuitively groups multiple git commands into a single undo/redo action. A great escape hatch when you make a mistake.
I like the ability to view Git LFS image diffs.
I like the simple drag and drop rebase and rebase --onto options, and the new force push with lease button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unable to filter git commit history view to only my commits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It just feels right. Tower isn't a bloated and messy Electron app. And being a Mac User, having native software that blends in perfectly with my workflow is key. It's much more intutitive than other Git clients I tried - and even more powerful.
The GitHub integration is very useful too, and removed some of my annoying application hopping.
Git Tower also offers a free license to students, from which offer I got to know the software in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, really. Except that it may became such a substantial part of my workflow that I basically forgot how to use Git as a CLI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Git tower has been my main driver for git for about ten years. Its ability to navigate a project, resolve conflicts, and even its merge tool integration with other clients is a godsend. Some of my peers spend an hour cleaning up a rebase where as with git tower, I can stream through 40 commits and 100s of conflicts in 30 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It used to get confused when I would need to continue on a no-commit and id have to go to the command line, but that just got fixed it a recent update! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GIT tower is abundant with lots of features. GT has a powerful diff viewer, which saves lots of time compared to other version control tools. Reflog makes life easy in the case of lost commits . Overall I love this graphical interface on top of the GIT interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not see anything that I can dislike but it is very powerful tool that one can forget the ususal GIT commands.I wanted to have some kind of keyboard shortcuts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Tower for 1.5 years and it's very easy to use. I highly recommend it, especially for someone who is new to programming and isn't comfortable with Git yet. I've been able to quickly spot merge conflicts, find what branch I'm on, switch to a new branch, etc and using Tower has even improved my knowledge in Git. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing I dislike about it, the product is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it's a native Mac app, which results in a very speedy app. Sometimes I do git stuff in the terminal, but I prefer Tower to get a nice visual overview of the changed files before committing and pushing. The diff viewer is very clear, so mostly I know in a glimpse of an eye if it's okay to commit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Found nothing to dislike in 5 years... :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tower is one of my favourite tools - it does what all great software does; it takes a specific problem and fixes it.
Git is a great tool, and I can use it with the best of them via the command line. But it's tedious and time-consuming, and if you hit a problem rebasing or using multiple git accounts, you can end up spending a significant portion of your day messing around with it.
For me, my time is precious - if a tool can save me 30 minutes a day which I can then better use, you know, to build actual features - then I'm going to use it.
If you ever gotten lost in the weeds trying to find why you can't push a git commit, or looking for a piece of code you've stashed - give Tower a go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, it's great - potentially could have a better pricing system if you're buying multiple licenses for a team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's gorgeous to look at. Right away you can tell a lot of effort went into the UI design—and when I'm looking to improve my workflow, this is my #1 priority. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing major, really. It has a tiny learning curve that you'll get over in less than 30 minutes. It's straightforward and I like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the user interface of this website. We can quickly move or edit commits. Creating repositories is so simple and very easy.
I like this new PR process and conflict resolution process. This is super fast and saves our most time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
