Git Tower has helped me in my day to day operations for both personal and professional projects. I absolutely love the UI and something so small as "cmd + z" to undo my previous action has helped improved my workflow in times where it's most needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'd love the ability to view and respond to PR conversations from Git Tower. This would improve my workflow even more by not requiring me to go launch git in the browser just to respond to feedback from teammates.
edit: I wanted to update my review here because, as it turns out, this is something Git Tower has added support for! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tower has been powering my usage of Git since it was first released. It’s straightforward interface, integration with GitHub, Bitbucket, Gitlab, and others, and especially how easy it makes it to do interactive adds, have made it a daily part of my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a thing! Tower’s got everything I need for using Git easily & swiftly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I personally like the User interface of the website. The best thing is the colours. The way in which all the colours were used denotes the proper path. The way branches are visible is also very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The webpage is comprised of too much information on a single page. The way you merge a branch, pull a request and every cherry-pick a commit is something that is not properly explainable. I prefer to have some different pages to do all these kind of stuff Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to quickly squash, edit and move commit around. Such an easy interface to use. Organizing and creating repositories is also very easy and I like seeing all my projects in one place. Cmd + Z combination is also a lifesaver in Tower. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike is that I might slowly forget how to use git commands. :)
Other than that, there isn't much that I don't like. Maybe the price could be a bit lower so I could easily motivate other people to use it as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has a very impressive UI. Its easy-to-use drag and drop feature is just incredible and has made my git workflow very easy. In comparison to the competition no git client provides as much features like Git Tower and that too in such a user friendly interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike; it is such a great piece of software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Tower on a daily basis. I usually am not a fan of pay subscriptions for software but Tower is my exception. For all the basic stuff I could just use git commands and be just as fast but there are so many things that I constantly forget and have to check a git reference that I don't use so often in git that Tower makes intuitive and one click away. I love the new PR process and the super fast conflict resolution process. Saves me tons of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Built-in spell-checking to prevent embarrassing spelling errors in commits and better integration with git hooks for pre-push and pre-commit commands would be great. Also, allowing for standardization of commit messages using commit message frameworks would enable me to get my team using git. At the moment, Tower is a guilty pleasure. I need my teams to use standardized commits and Tower just doesn't support that so I've been putting off standardizing our commits just so I can keep using Tower. I face the inevitable reality that I'll have to give up Tower one of these days so we can adopt cleaner processes, which I don't want to do.
It would also be great to find a way to organize or help clean up git branches. I find it extremely annoying to have to delete each branch individually. Why can't we just delete a whole "folder" of git branches? It's such an arduous process that I just let the git branches and folders pile up until my project becomes clogged and hard to work with. Maybe there is a way to detect if the git branch was merged and delete it automatically after it is merged to development or master.
I'd love to have a keyboard shortcut for everything and a cheeat sheet for that. Maybe that exists already. If so, I haven't seen it.
I wish the conflict resolution was built into Tower rather than using Kaleidoscope or other tools that lack proper syntax highlighting. That's a big ask and is likely out of scope but it would be cool.
Sadly, with the PR process, none of the default PR title and description templates from Bitbucket work if I use Tower for PRs. So, I have to find hacky work arounds or be stuck using Bitbucket to submit and create my PRs like everyone else.
The biggest weakness of Tower is making it conform to team standards for commits messages and PR titles and default description templates. If I want enforce quality git processes for my teams then I have to tell them not to use software like Tower because it won't conform to our standards as is possible with various libraries. From my point of view, one of the best parts of the app is its simplicity, the team has done an incredible job in making it as easy to use as possible. Sure we're developer and we like complex stuff to solve, but when it is time to ship some code I always reach for Tower.
Recently I've changed company and instead of merges we now rebase our branches and I've been incredibly surprised on how well it helped me to master this new approach, at the end of the day I was just a keystroke away 😊
And for all the devs out there that prefers the command line, let me tell you that with Tower you can save even more keystrokes with keyboard shortcuts and on top you'll have a nice application to see 😉 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some minor here and there, for example, I am unable to select Hyper as the default terminal, but I need it so rarely that it has not even worth a Google search 😂
So tbh there's nothing I dislike of Tower. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm using GitTower since 4 years; it's a superfast native client with a great user interface. It support undo via command-z, drag&drop to cherry pick and merge and many more features you will love, including integrations with github and gitlab. I really love it, worth every penny. I would like a more powerful commands palette like vscode to search and execute all the git actions without leaving the keyboard Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being a part of the Apple / macOS ecosystem, nativity meant a lot to me and Tower just nailed it. I haven't seen any git client that manages to be a powerhouse and yet be 100% native to the system. Tower was able to handle my most ridiculously complex repos with ease. It works flawlessly on my M1 mac AND intel mac. It's simply seamless and has helped me when I had no clue about the state of my repos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing yet, it has proved to be effective and efficient in all ways for my use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
