What do you like best about Git Tower?

You can use tower on both your laptop and desktop on same license. Using a DIFF in tower is far superior to using a DIFF in something like Sourcetree. This is an upgrade to the free version of git. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Git Tower?

Many will stick with the free version of git as it gets the job done. Unfortunately, it's also not better or maybe only slightly better than Sourcetree. Sourcetree customers will not switch to git tower. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Git Tower solving and how is that benefiting you?

Things that take a while to go through on the command line take mere seconds on git tower. With git tower I can create, merge and comment on pull requests right from the tower. Boom! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Git Tower?

The nice integration in the MacOS ecosystem and the support of most git features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Git Tower?

A full local and remote branches view with tags and commits like using "gitk --all" but having a nicer UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything. When switched to Mac it was hard to manage codes but this made it so easy.

Can easily manage multiple groups.

What do you like best about Git Tower?

Tower is very easy to use and has always been my favourite Git GUI client. I found many others to have weird UX concepts, Tower on the other hand, is very straightforward and in my view, built up logically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Git Tower?

It's a bit expensive, especially because you need to renew each year. But as long as the quality stays excellent, I'm more than happy to keep paying that amount. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Git Tower?

Tower demystifies git. It allows me to visualize my changes and manage branches with ease. I'm able to cherry pick easily, and to choose whatever diff tool works best for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Git Tower?

Not much, to be honest. A built in merge conflict tool would be cool. And more color themes! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Git Tower?

I've been using Git Tower for over two years now, and I cannot think of changing the Git client. I have tried a lot of clients and what I like most about Tower is the user-friendliness of the application. It often makes tedious git tasks easy and enjoyable. What do you like best about Git Tower?

What do you like best about Git Tower?

I like the clean interface that GitTower offers. The branch visualizations help me see whether the team members are following the right hygiene of merging the right branches and squashing commits on PR.

I can visually update submodules as well which is a step that I often miss when working with Git CLI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Git Tower?

I used to have stability issues with the tool. I am not facing app crashes very frequently now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Git Tower solving and how is that benefiting you?

My team uses Git Tower to raise PRs, tag branches, etc. which is something they would otherwise need to spend a lot of time learning the commands.
