They advised us that the site was under maintenance, but gave no response to any of our attempts to reach customer support. This severely disrupted our contractor payments as it occurred with no notice and, as of a week later, there has been no change or update. I started using Gigwage for my team of 1099 contractors when the platform was still new. I loved seeing the brand grow, and was always very impressed with their newsletters and marketing. They are passionate about the financial space and have big goals of helping to support it. The platform itself was very easy to use, low fees, and I loved supporting a brand that I felt in alignment with. There were of course some features I wish they had, but then soon I saw an update! Ultimately we moved to Gusto for a few reasons, one to be able to store documents for each employee and contractor, along with setting up different payment schedules.

I think the fees became a little high for not having some of these key features (but I do anticipate they will have them soon!) — I'm happy to see Gig Wage growing, and who knows — we might be back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
