## Aleph Reviews
 ### 1. Replaced Colossal Excel Files and Pivot Tables with Easy-to-Use Templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard A. | Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Before Aleph, I had to prepare our management reports using several colossal Excel files, troubleshoot errors caused by external links, and hunt down tips and tricks to make my pivot tables display data at the most difficult intersections of our reporting dimensions. With Aleph, I can replace all of that with a few reporting templates in manageable file sizes, and I can delegate the work to colleagues with intermediate Excel skills. Aleph is THAT easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I have been using Aleph for over a year, and I have not come across anything about Aleph that I dislike.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph Connect makes it easy for me to develop highly customized reports. With Aleph Explore and its drilldowns, I can respond to questions and ad hoc requests on the fly. I also no longer have to deal with large Excel files crashing. And when Accounting makes a last-minute adjustment to the month-end financial results, updating the management reports is only a few keystrokes away.

 ### 2. Effortless & Quick Data Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michele Z. | Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I love how Aleph makes it easy to pull and explore data from various sources, like internal databases, NetSuite, and Excel models, and how easily it automates these data pulls. It saves time when updating and analyzing data and ensures accuracy. I like that Aleph integrates with both Google Sheets and Excel, allowing data automation setup to be extremely quick. I also appreciate that it helps me pull data without needing to manually copy and paste. As a user, it's super quick and easy to get started with Aleph. Additionally, the customer support is fantastic - our Customer Experience Manager Michael is extremely responsive and helpful to our numerous platform questions.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

The add-in can be a little slow to load, and the interface to set up a new data table is not the most intuitive / requires a bit of a learning curve.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aleph for pulling and exploring data from various sources and automating these data pulls. It saves time updating data and ensures accuracy while helping avoid manual copy/pastes.

 ### 3. Great FP&A platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary L. | Director, FP&A, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

What I like best about Aleph is how it streamlines FP&A processes by connecting directly with our ERP/accounting systems and centralizing data in one place. Instead of manually exporting data into spreadsheets each month, we’re able to automate reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis, which saves significant time and reduces the risk of formula or version-control errors. The Excel integration has been especially valuable because it allows our team to continue working in a familiar environment while benefiting from live, connected data. From a workflow perspective, Aleph has helped shorten our monthly reporting cycle and made forecasting more efficient. What used to require multiple offline files and manual consolidations can now be updated in a more controlled and collaborative process. Another benefit has been ease of use—the interface is intuitive enough for finance users who are not highly technical, which helped with adoption across the team. Overall, it has improved accuracy, speed, and visibility, making the FP&A function more strategic and less manual.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I’d also like to see continued expansion of planning and workflow features, such as deeper scenario modeling, approval workflows, and more customization within dashboards. That said, the team has been responsive to feedback and continues to improve the product regularly.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our team, the biggest benefit has been speed and accuracy. Reports that previously required multiple exports and offline files can now be refreshed quickly with live data, which shortens the monthly close and reporting cycle. It has also improved confidence in the numbers because everyone is working from the same centralized dataset rather than different spreadsheet versions.

 ### 4. Aleph Streamlined Our Month-End Close with Powerful, Easy-to-Use Finance Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian R. | Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph has been a game-changer for our finance team. The platform strikes a great balance between ease of use and powerful functionality, making it accessible without sacrificing depth. Its versatility allows us to handle everything from detailed analysis and reporting to budgeting and forecasting in one place. We’ve also significantly streamlined our month-end close process through automation, saving time and reducing manual errors. Overall, Aleph is a highly reliable and robust tool that has improved both the efficiency and quality of our financial operations.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

While the AI insights feature has potential, its usefulness depends heavily on having clean, well-structured data. In practice, that means you need to invest time in data preparation before the insights become truly meaningful. This isn’t entirely unexpected, but it does limit the out-of-the-box value of the feature if your underlying data isn’t already in good shape.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ad hoc reporting, month-end close, and budgeting streamlined.

 ### 5. Flexible, Fast Planning with Seamless Data Sync and Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naveen Kumar T. | FP&A Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Flexible, but with a lot more control than your usual spreadsheets. Data pulls automatically from tools like NetSuite, HiBob, and Salesforce, so you’re not wasting time on manual updates. Planning and reforecasts are quicker since everyone’s working off the same version—no more file chaos. Refreshes are fast, and the web version is really easy to use. Support (especially from Henry) is super responsive and easy to reach. The AI-driven commentary is genuinely helpful for analysis, and overall, the pricing feels fair for the value you get.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Advanced modelling / scalability can get tricky as things get more complex (large multi-dimensional models, very detailed driver trees, etc.)
AI commentary is helpful but not always perfect—you’ll still need to sense-check insights rather than fully rely on it

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves a lot of time as data is already clean and up to date, so I can focus more on analysis vs prep work
More reliable numbers as everyone is working off the same dataset, so fewer errors and reconciliations
Faster decision-making during Reforecasts and scenario analysis, which actually helps the business react faster

 ### 6. Intuitive Financial Analytics with Seamless Excel Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yiming Y. | Strategic Finance and Investor Relations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I find Aleph very intuitive and easy to use. It required almost no onboarding and training, which is fantastic. Aleph is able to pull data quickly, which helps me dig deeper into financial information from NetSuite. I like that it allows me to create multiple views of my financial data that are readily shareable with management stakeholders. There are multiple ways to pull or share data, so I don't need to adjust my workflows for Aleph. The ability to use Aleph natively in Excel is very helpful, as it lets me run complicated analyses on my data that can't be replicated on a web platform. The initial setup was very easy, with seamless integration that took less than an hour, and the Aleph team supported our custom fields in NetSuite efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Not much, the platform does what it advertises very well. The platform is not meant to be a full FP&A software suite, but instead enable you to do your forecasting in Excel and not change your processes. Thus, you could say it lacks some complex forecasting features, but this is not really the intention of the platform. You should not buy Aleph if you want full forecasting features.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aleph to pull data quickly from NetSuite, create multiple shareable views for stakeholders, and perform complex analyses in Excel without altering my processes.

 ### 7. Aleph Streamlines Budget and Reporting Efforts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I think the Excel add-in is very powerful, especially the Connect and Explore functions. The Explore function allows me to pull data from Netsuite directly into Excel without having to wait a long time with each download because Aleph refreshes its Netsuite pulls overnight. I like being able to cut data from Aleph in different ways with different filters, and I believe the AI chatbot would be very useful for companies with clean data. It can help speed up P&L commentary when data is clean. Aleph has centralized expense data and budget data, making it faster for us to update reporting and budgets.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Can sometimes be slow when updating large datasets / multiple large pulls, or when manually refreshing Netsuite data

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Aleph to centralize expense and budget data, which speeds up updating reports and budgets. The Explore function lets me pull data from Netsuite directly into Excel efficiently.

 ### 8. Simplest connector to you GL and your internal data

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasad P. | Strategic Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Fantastic ability to connect multiple tools, such as Databricks, NetSuite, Sheets, and Excel.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

It takes time to learn the system and get all the data integrated, especially if the full team isn’t behind the concept. That said, the support staff is very helpful and does a great job guiding you or setting you up through the onboarding process.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a clean general ledger download from NetSuite into Google Sheets and/or Excel, which allows us to build the financial presentations and models we need to keep the company updated. It also helps connect queries from Databricks to these tools, so the actual KPIs in the business can align with the operating model on a consistent, smooth basis.

 ### 9. Aleph Ties Our Finance Stack Together

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph has become a central part of how our finance team operates, and the integrations are a big reason why. Connecting it to NetSuite, HiBob, and Ashby means our financial data, headcount, and hiring pipeline all flow into one place automatically — no more chasing down numbers from three different systems or manually reconciling spreadsheets. Actuals from NetSuite sync in real time, people costs and headcount data from HiBob feed directly into our models, and Ashby keeps our hiring plan and future payroll projections grounded in live recruitment data. The UI is refreshingly easy to use — the spreadsheet-native experience means the team adopted it quickly without any real learning curve, and navigating the platform day-to-day just feels intuitive. On the support side, our CSM Michael has been brilliant — always responsive, genuinely proactive, and consistently going above and beyond to make sure we're getting the most out of the platform. It's the kind of partnership that makes a real difference, especially during onboarding. We're also just starting to explore Aleph's AI features and are excited to see how they can further streamline our variance analysis and reporting workflows. For any finance team running a similar stack, Aleph ties it all together in a way that's fast to set up and genuinely changes how you work day to day.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

The only downside I have with Aleph is it can be a touch slow with Google sheets.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s easy to access information and pull it from our various sources.

 ### 10. Streamlines Financial Processes, Needs Better AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I use Aleph for forecasting, budgeting, and BvA analysis. I appreciate that it automatically pulls all actuals from our ERP Sage Intacct, which saves me time from manually doing pulls and comparing to our budget. It combines our budget with actuals easily, making forecasting quick and easy to update. I really like having a dedicated account manager (Michael Kang- the best!) available via Teams for all my questions and helping us set up our reports. The initial setup of Aleph was very fast and simple, which made it easy for us to get started.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

AI is a bit behind times, and it is somewhat complicated to learn the software. I wish there was more formal online training to walk through. AI analysis needs to be more in depth.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph pulls actuals from our ERP, saving time and simplifying budget comparisons. It integrates budgets with actuals, making forecasting quick and easy.

 ### 11. Smarty Tool - Quick to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aishwarya B. | FP&A Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Easy to handle and use, and it takes very little time. Anyone can learn it within a day and start using it right away. It’s a great fit for startups and scaling companies that want a smaller, intelligent tool.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Maybe I would still say, we are yet to explore all the best of it. It would be the loading and locking a data for retrievals (multiple/large databases might be a challenge for now)

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to connect in google sheets and not wanting to login into Netsuite all the time. This is a great, simple way of login through google sheets and data sets become so easier to build and provide it to stakeholders

 ### 12. THE Answer to so many FP&A Challenges for Scaling Organizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan H. | VP of Finance, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Time to value: We were live and able to answer BOD questions with confidence within two weeks.

Adaptability: We’ve been able to leverage Aleph in a lot of ways to meet the needs and asks of the business, and we’ve also been able to pivot quickly when we need to think about the business differently.

Customer Success: They’re always available to meet within 24 hours to help ideate or solve complex situations. They truly feel like a partner and an extension of our FP&A team.

Scalability: Being in tech, the business is in high growth through both organic and inorganic methods. Aleph has handled both with ease, which gives us long-term stability in our financial reporting function.

Solves for disparate systems: With the integration and the ability to load manual data into the platform and map it into BvA tables, we can look at financial data coming from seven different accounting systems in a uniform way. This speeds up reporting, forecasting, and insights into business performance.

Drill-down functionality: We can see underlying data in seconds without leaving the file we’re in, which saves time when putting together flux commentary.

AI capabilities: The ability to have Aleph take a first pass at P&L commentary is huge. In addition, being able to dictate how it looks at the data upfront makes it even more scalable (department first vs. GL, or vendor first, then department, etc.).

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

There is some complexity in the setup for consolidating data tables that I don't necessarily understand (although I have not tried). This is easily solved with support from their Customer Success org or if I had a more technical mind on my team, they'd likely easily navigate this.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidation of financial data from 9+ systems
Management of proforma results for acquired entities
Management of EBITDA adjustments for management reporting
Automated month-end reporting pack
Easily running actuals vs budget vs forecast reports
Custom P&L cuts for comparison
Helping mitigate headcount costs through automated data aggregation and AI variance analysis, not having to hire for "entry" roles
Able to just click "refresh" in any file I'm in to ensure I have the latest and greatest financial information

 ### 13. Aleph Supercharged Our FP&A Reporting with Seamless Excel and PowerPoint Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave C. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph has been a great addition to our FP&A toolkit. The Excel integration is especially intuitive—most of the functionality feels natural right away, and it requires very little training to get up and running. That ease of use has made adoption across the team very smooth.

One of Aleph’s biggest strengths is its flexibility. It’s highly customizable and can be adapted to fit a wide range of workflows and business needs, rather than forcing you into a rigid structure. That’s been a big advantage as our processes continue to evolve. I especially love using the Aleph formulas in Excel. Instead of having to use a cookie cutter template or a system generated report, I can set up my files however I want. This not only made creating new reports simple but also allowed us to leverage existing reports as well.

The other Excel feature that I'm a huge fan of is the drill down function. This has allowed me to quickly drill down by the dimension of my choice. For example, if consulting expenses are high, I can drill down by department to figure out which one is driving the variance.

Another game changer has been the Aleph charts/dashboards. Not only can you set up charts to be easily refreshed each month, but these can be inserted directly into your reporting deck through the Aleph Powerpoint plug-in. To refresh each month, all we have to do is update the month filter in the dashboard that is connected to all the charts, then click 'refresh all charts' in Powerpoint. Huge time saver versus having to re-insert charts each month.

Performance-wise, the speed and reliability have been excellent. We’re able to work with data quickly and confidently without worrying about lag or system issues.

The price point is excellent for this product. Especially since the implementation time is so quick and you have a dedicated person on your account.

Another standout aspect is the support. Having a dedicated point of contact who I can work with directly when questions or issues come up has made a huge difference. It’s responsive, personal, and genuinely helpful.

Overall, Aleph strikes a strong balance between usability, flexibility, and performance, backed by a high level of support.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Table customization features within the dashboards tool are somewhat limited. However, the individual assigned to our account has been incredibly helpful and has been working with the engineers to get the additional features we are looking for added.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is solving the flexibility issue many FP&A tools have. Many companies don't want to move away from Excel entirely, but need an FP&A tool that can easily bring their data into their existing reporting files. That's where Aleph is has been huge for us. Instead of recreating the wheel, Aleph was able to adapt to our currently reporting files and speed up the process.

 ### 14. Flexible, Self-Serve Finance Data Pipelines—Fully Integrated with Excel and GSheets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan G. | Senior Director of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph is very easy to use and fully integrated with Excel and GSheets, which lets us build data pipelines from our ERP (NetSuite) and data warehouse (Redshift) and put that data directly into the hands of our analysts and other non-technical staff.

It also supports extensive flagging and tagging of data in its cloud DB, where you can store your mappings so everyone is working from the same summaries and pivots. Overall, it’s very flexible and truly self-serve. Highly recommend. The AI gives us a head start on variance reporting and mapping suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

There isn’t much to dislike. It’s not a full planning tool; it is more of a component of your finance tech/data stack.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph helps me get my data out our systems and into a single database that I control, without internal technical support. This and the AI enhancements speed our reporting process through automation and templating. It is a very flexible cloud DB for our financial and metric data.

 ### 15. Flexible, Intuitive, and Fast to Implement—with Amazing Support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

It's flexible, intuitive, quick implementation, and the support team is amazing! We've had nothing but a great experience from the multiple demo sessions to speedy implementation. The team was incredibly responsive before we signed on with them, and continued that same level of support and care after we were engaged with an SOW (HUGE shoutout to our support Michael Kang!!!). They were clear on expected timelines based on review of our files and were always available to help in a timely manner when we had an issue. Michael was not only incredibly helpful with anything we had issues or questions on, but he felt like an active partner who understood our system and files to help suggest improvements along the way.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Honestly, nothing major. It has been nothing but a huge improvement for our process and how we report/forecast. Their reporting and dashboard features can use some more work but we are actively working with them to get that in a better position, and it's looking hopeful!

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were heavily manual with our reporting and planning process, building out entire P&Ls and departmental templates within excel and copying/pasting charts and graphs over into powerpoint manually.

 ### 16. The FP&A tool I've been waiting for!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan H. | Strategic Finance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph is an unbelievably intuitive and easy-to-use finance tool. Implementation was smooth and straightforward, and it quickly became our tool to house our single source of truth across data systems. I love that I can model with confidence, always using the most up-to-date and accurate information. It’s made financial analysis faster, cleaner, and far more reliable. Also, there team is incredibly attentive and communicative whenever I need help.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Some of the more complex dashboards can slow down my computer at times, especially when working with large datasets. Optimizing performance for heavier models would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph has streamlined our entire financial planning and analysis process. It supports everything from detailed modeling and scenario planning to budgeting, dashboards, and reporting. Having one connected platform makes it easy to track budget vs. actuals in real time and quickly visualize results for different stakeholders. This has significantly improved both the accuracy and speed of our decision-making.

 ### 17. Modern, Automation-Driven Workflow That Feels Cutting-Edge

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jea S. | Senior FP&A Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

The product feels very modern, and is integrated with a lot of modern technologies. It also incorporates strong automation features with helps with workflow.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I feel that some features are still sometimes not as smooth as expected. IE. When I use "Push All", the UI may sometimes not alert me that it was updated, despite the data being pushed due to some tabs with "Push" built in not having any data.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is mainly helping me design strong workflows and automations in terms of data pulling and pushing for different scenarios, allowing for collaboration and efficient data centralization processes.

 ### 18. User-Friendly Platform with Powerful Mapping and Time-Saving Calculations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JP R. | FP&A Senior Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The mapping features are especially useful when working across multiple clients. Automatic calculations and calculated fields across tables help cut down our workload, reduce working time, and make day-to-day tasks more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Sometimes, refreshing data can be a little slow. Also, it’s not very efficient that the chart of accounts isn’t fully loaded until the accounts begin to have activity; this feels a bit inefficient.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maximizing personal capacity, standardizing our processes across multiple clients, and receiving the appropriate support to build replicable tools that we can use across our clients.

 ### 19. Aleph Makes Data Extraction and Synthesis Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph makes it incredibly easy to extract, manipulate and synthesize data from disparate tools and sources, making my workflows incredibly smooth.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

No serious downsides, although it would be nice to have more in-depth tutorials on how to get the most value out of using Aleph.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is our system of record for PO and invoice data, which feeds directly into our weekly Cloud CapEx Forecast model. It helps us solve three main problems: maintaining a real-time view of committed vs. actual spend across a growing portfolio of cloud deployment projects, producing reliable week-over-week variance and Forecast vs. Budget analysis for leadership, and keeping Finance, Procurement, and AP aligned on a single source of truth rather than reconciling across disconnected spreadsheets. As our site footprint and transaction volume scale, having that structured, queryable foundation becomes increasingly critical.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

There is a learning curve for the team to be able to run some of the more complex tasks in the system

 ### 21. Intuitive Excel Add-In That Makes Modeling Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | Sr. FP&A Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

The best thing in my opinion is the functionality within Excel. The add in is very intuitive, and the aleph function makes it easy as well to incorporate into models.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

The biggest downside is that although everything in excel works great, it would be helpful if you were able to make live changes in the web version as well without having to push.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The explore function fits seamlessly with most models and is very easy to reference, it makes it easy knowing the data is consistent as well.

I love the customer service. It's super hands-on, and the attitude is fantastic, always super positive. There’s never a problem too big to solve. We get early access to new features, and the team takes feedback on board really well, turning around fixes or new product features and enhancements very quickly. We receive very personalized attention from the head of CX and a really capable customer success manager. It's a delight to work with them.

I think the dashboarding could be improved. Some more functionality in order to add customizations to graphs and charts.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph solves the problem of having a single source of truth for data and financial reporting, standardizes calculations, and adds efficiency in reforecasting and consolidation processes.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I am unable to think of anything at this moment.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

No material issues so far. It took a little while to get used to the naming conventions but after that it's been simple

**Reviewed by:** Ligia S. | Finance Business Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I really like the flexibility of Aleph (like Aleph function, process of creating views, etc) and for sure the support from the team !

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

connectivity directly with the ERP (not sure if it is possible and our company that hasnt this option)

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 30. Aleph Delivers Seamless Reporting and Support - Highly recommend!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah F. | Director, Strategic Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph is an incredible tool that surfaces not only financial data, but also your other software system's data in a single place. I am using Aleph on a daily basis to answer ad hoc questions & requests to other key stakeholders on my team. We are using Aleph to build a holistic reporting environment and the dashboarding capabilities have really reduced the time it takes to generate our monthly reporting packages.

The purchase experience was incredibly smooth. We ran an integration with Aleph out of our ERP as part of the demo process - and despite being skeptical - they were able to deliver and I was impressed before purchase. Post-purchase, there was no additional implementation needed, it ran great out of the box. What's more, Aleph offers incredible customer support - they feel like trusted advisors and are always there to tackle any question I have related to FP&A.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Aleph is super strong in spreadsheets and actuals. I wish there were some ways to create standard objects in the dashboards based on the data that I'm integrating into Aleph.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph helps me answer a ton of ad hoc analyses and requests. It's helped me "publish" financial data to the rest of my organization and gives me a destination to serve as the single source of truth of financial data. My entire accounting team is using Aleph as well. We have saved a ton of time on monthly reporting packages and automated dashboards have saved a ton of time as well. Aleph integrates our other software systems seamlessly and gives me access to crucial operating data at my fingertips (whether in Excel or Google Sheets).

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Excited for the new advancements to come.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph integrates across my whole tech stack and allows me to bring data into one cohesive place to run my analysis. It pulls quickly and reliably.

 ### 32. So far so good!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hugo H. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

What I like about Aleph is the intuitive nature of the application. It has helped us evolve our data analytics very much. The customer service has also been great. The team is very responsive and always finds solutions to our problems. The implementation process was also fast and seamless. That was a big priority on our end.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I think overall some of the refresh times and mapping have caused some issues, but I think these are common issues that are more growing pains than anything. These are things being worked on and we don't expect them to be around in the future.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, primarily, it is helping organize and pull reporting out of our accounting software. This was a major pain point for us in the past. We can now pull quicker and more accurate reporting that is crucial to our operations.

 ### 33. Aleph Makes Close and Audit Reporting Easy

Aleph has been really helpful for close, especially for reporting and making it easy to drill down into the details. This year, we also used Aleph to pull the data needed for our annual audit. Customer service has been great as well.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

It takes a bit longer than I’d like to sync with NetSuite.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

 ### 34. Aleph is a game changer for any finance team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dante C. | VP Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Implementation was super fast! We had Aleph connected to Sage Intacct within days and were able to run a budget reforecast in the same week. Customer service has been top notch - helping us debug any issues or adding new features we've requested.

Generating reports now takes minutes instead of days with their refresh features. Their smart mapping makes it so everything is grouped correctly every single time. No more chasing down lookup tables and external mapping files.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

The dashboard features leave room for improvement - could be easier to set up and modify to fit our company needs.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to review segments of the business with blazing speed. Aleph has majorly simplified our budget process by being able to maintain different scenarios and eliminating the need for connected spreadsheets and rollup files.

**Official Response from Adam Feber:**

> Hey Dante, thank you so much for the review and kind words. We love working with you and your team!

 ### 37. Easy to implement and easy to use tool, with great value-add to FP&A

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph is a very intuitive tool that allows all of your ERPs to be pulled from a single source. It has simplified and streamlined my month close process, BvA analysis, and ad hoc capabilities. I also really like that Aleph is an excel add-in, meaning I didn't have to dedicate a ton of time to implement the tool or rework my existing processes, and it's very easy to use for anyone familiar with excel. Aleph was able to work WITH my current files for pretty instant value-add.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Such as with any new or existing tool, there are the occasional bugs, but these are very minimal and quickly resolved by the Aleph team. I have very little criticism for the tool - Once up and running, Aleph has been a smooth transition for my team with minimal issues.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently working at a fast growth start-up with a lean finance & accounting team, we needed a tool that was easy to use, easy to implement, and would simplify our processes. That's exactly what Aleph has done; Freed up time and made our lives easier.

 ### 38. Effortless Implementation and Flexible Forecasting with Aleph

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

I appreciate how easy Aleph was to implement—our team successfully synced it with our ERP system in just 15 minutes. The platform’s flexibility in creating and modifying dimensions within each table is a major advantage. Transitioning from our previous forecasting system and dashboarding tools was smooth and straightforward. The learning curve is minimal; after watching the instructional videos, I was able to use Aleph independently. I also value that our Customer Success Manager brings real forecasting expertise, not just technical knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I hope Aleph will eventually let users modify the tables within the Dashboard.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph has been assisting us with forecasting and managing both our operating and construction in progress budgets. It also supports budget-to-actual analysis and allows us to store multiple budget files efficiently.

 ### 39. Easy Mapping and Quick Data Refresh

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Easy mapping functionality, quick data refresh

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Dashboard builds are not intuitive and take a time investment

 ### 40. Excellent FP&A that supports the way you want to work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick Z. | Head of FP&A, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph provides a highly flexible and user-friendly platform for FP&A tasks - was up and running in less than a month. It seamlessly integrates with our data sources and allows for easy configuration of any data modelling needs for reporting. The ability to use their web app, excel or google sheets to access data means reporting is truly fully customizable and easy to manage. It genuinely adapts to the way we work, rather than forcing us to adapt to the software. This has made our financial reporting and planning process more efficient and data-driven. Their customer support is always very helpful and the pace of product innovation and new feature roll-out is extremely encouraging. I don't see myself using another FP&A tool ever again.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

I don't really dislike anything because we have the ability to mold it to our needs. Eventually, would love to see some pieces of model building have web app optionality, but haven't had any issues with this being in excel with the included plugins.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is our source of truth for unifying various data sources to meet our reporting and planning needs.

 ### 41. Aleph Makes Reporting and Financial Analysis So Much Easier

My company was entirely doing tons of manual work in excel. Aleph has helped us organize and cut down on laborious files.

 ### 43. Aleph is an Adaptable tool with a responsive team behind it.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason M. | Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Aleph makes it easy to consolidate your data in one place and create vast amounts of diverse reports in a short time. The adaptability of aleph unlocks creative solutions to gathering data from multiple sources into one coherent database.

Additionally, the support and implementation team from Aleph has been truly great.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Being able to preview the entire dataset in the web UI would be a welcome addition.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is helping massively with version control and standardization across workbooks, saving the time and effort of updating multiple spreadsheets to reflect the same change. Alephs dashboarding will replace a tedious monthly variance process as well.

 ### 44. Aleph Takes Consolidation from Days to Minutes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff V. | Senior Director of Finance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

We used to manually consolidate financial statements and KPIs from several disparate systems in an inaccurate excel file and spent time constantly chasing bugs in that file. Now we are able to run a consolidation that does the same thing only more accurately at the push of a button in Aleph.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

It's a bit challenging to get integrations from non-mainstream systems integrated properly with Aleph.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is solving consolidation out of numerous systems, as well as problems with the accuracy of our former manual reporting file.

 ### 45. FP&A Team Looking to Automate our Data and Processes

 ### 46. Rooled Inc: Aleph is Transforming Financial Analytics for our clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph positions itself as a comprehensive data analytics and business intelligence platform designed for teams that need to make data-driven decisions quickly. After using the platform for several months across multiple projects, its offering is a powerhouse and a massive time saver.

Some of its Key Features that have been game changers for us are:

Excellent connectivity: Supports 100+ data sources including popular databases, cloud platforms, and SaaS applications.

Real-time syncing: Data refreshes are reliable and fast and can extract data especially where there are reporting limitations on ERP platforms. We have been able to extract data descriptions from accounting platforms such as invoices to determine renewals and run data analytics which was a limitation in our accounting platform otherwise. Although the data sits in there, there is no reporting functionality to extract the descriptions other than manually clicking through each one so a HUGE time saver.

API flexibility: Custom integrations are straightforward to implement

Intuitive drag-and-drop interface: Non-technical users can create meaningful visualizations and dashboards quickly within a few clicks.

Pre-built templates: Industry-specific dashboard templates save significant setup time.

Interactive elements: Filters, drill-downs, and cross-filtering work seamlessly and to be able to collaborate with multiple individuals via these spreadsheets is extremely valuable.

Finally, I find that there some great seasoned products out in the marketplace, but lack an essential component 'Customer Support' which Aleph has nailed! Questions, issues, concerns are addressed instantly.

Aleph has been a game changer and can't wait to unlock all its offerings!

~~ Sana Siddiqui ~~
Sr. Controller
Rooled Inc.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

There's always room for improvement as companies scale.

Although the real time sync is fast, every refresh requires 10-15 mins for data to be extracted. There are certain customization constraints, export limitations and I fee definitely a learning curve to get up and running in Aleph.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standard Templates allows for a baseline implementation across the board for our clients.
The ability to extract details, descriptions, and data that exists in platforms but not easily extractable or reportable.
Having the ability to integrate with platforms and customize templates, drill down on details and collaborate with teams is a huge time saver and allows us to focus on deliver of more meaningful data.

 ### 47. Aleph changes the game for FP&A

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph has significantly streamlined my Excel workflows by reducing the number of tabs I need in a workbook. Instead of referencing multiple sheets, I can easily roll up data and call it directly from their online platform. I’ve always been hesitant to work with APIs, but Aleph makes integrating external data into Excel incredibly simple. Plus, our experience working with Henry has been fantastic—he’s been extremely supportive in both onboarding and ongoing training.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

The dashboards are weak in my opinion - significantly harder to set up than excel and doesn't support arrow keys moving around cells in their online sheet to build custom data sources.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pulling data into excel is a breeze. I can easily update many tabs by pulling down sources from QBO, Hubspot, etc.

The possibilities this opens up is endless. For example, this is a game changer for model assumptions because pulling KPIs has never been easier allowing us to test our assumptions month after month.

 ### 48. Highly flexible tool to drive efficiencies for us Excel-lovers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

It's intuitive, user-friendly, flexible, and is the only tool I've seen that plugs into Excel and Google Sheets the way it does. The customer support is amazing - they are always responsive and thorough in addressing our questions. Implementation is quick compared to other tools and can be self-driven without needing to engage consultants, dev resources, etc. (though having someone on your team that knows SQL is a plus). It's also really helpful that we can integrate Aleph progressively into our workstreams and realize increasing efficiencies over time rather than having to drop everything and sink X months into an implementation.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

They are still working through some kinks/bugs, and the Google Sheets integration struggles sometimes. However, the team is very on top of it and we've seen them addressing issues near real-time and making constant improvements to the platform. The user permissions functionality could use some work though I think this is on their radar.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual report refreshing/pulling/copying/pasting, streamlining recurring processes, saving us time and reducing opportunities for manual errors. Providing a framework for easy comparison between budget, actuals, and different forecast scenarios.

 ### 49. Excellent platform with huge potential and top-notch customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johnnie W. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

- offers an immediate efficiency benefit to existing workflows, adding integrations is quick and easy
- centralizes data easily from a wide variety of sources, into a common data environment that is intuitive and optimized for time-based data analytics
- immediacy of access to platform, you can be up and running in just 10 minutes

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

- the platform is very powerful and a number of ways exist to perform the same task, it's really helpful to have best practice guidance from Aleph's team and embed that knowledge internal to your company. Over time there should be additional user forums or online help to provide that guidance too.

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves for inefficient data access from multiple data sources, makes recurring tasks much quicker. Also enables rapid data access to other non-GL platforms, which streamlines tasks that would otherwise require internal engineering or R&D effort to create and maintain reports--all that can be handled from within finance now.

 ### 50. Aleph has automated the manual parts of my job

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Aleph?**

Aleph organizes, structures, and helps us visualize our data in ways that we couldn't do manually.

**What do you dislike about Aleph?**

Aleph can be glitchy some times (ie., some times you have to log out and then log back in for it to work) but makes sense as the product is still evolving

**What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aleph is taking the manual parts out of my job so that instead of just reporting on financials and hunting down data, I can trust I have the right data and can spend my time on higher level / strategic initiatives
