**What do you like best about Geotab?**

There is still the essence of a family run business and they treat the resellers with humility and personal care. They're still not so cold in corporate and there's that sense of family when you are a reseller of this product. Of course the product is so reliable and cutting edge it's just like I always say the George Foreman grill set it and forget it it just works

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

There is more and more complications seeming to come we're getting more and more mired in rate plans and billing issues that are inflexible and seem to take forever to resolve with a dozen emails literally to get things fixed or underway the way we would like. The new go plan seems to have some merits but seems to be extremely rigid and inflexible. I would love to once again have a better explanation of the long-term view of why this go plan seems to be the only way forward. Our biggest competitor goes in with a low priced option and then starts to slowly get more stickiness with the customer and I firmly believe we must have this option easily available with the base plan and then add to it add to it as necessary. I feel that the management seems to have this high-minded idea that only quality customers are what they want and quality means somebody who would want the goal plan and if they don't want go plan then they're probably not desirable as a customer which I very much disagree with. The Profit made on base plan is just as important to the overall bottom line as profit made on the go plan. The product works great my partner account manager is great there seems to be more red tape and more confusion creeping in month by month unfortunately.

There is so much information in one place. They are constantly updating with new features. I enjoy the engagement they offer to customers so we can continue to learn and use the program better. It simplifies safety and risk stats beautifully.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

I don't find the navigation of it very intuitive. Viewing trips seems awkward and a little confusing. Often can lag in general and not always refresh properly. Messaging layout is frustrating in that it feels clunky to navigate and format messages well.

Immense amount of information in order to track trends, particularly from a risk perspective.

I appreciate how scalable the tool is and I also find the investment being made by Geotab to improve the overall platform is building trust in the future of the partnership.

Reporting is far too static and requires special skills to be able to modify the data that is included as well as the date range that is availble for any given report.

I believe the UI is being worked on diligently and that the user experience will improve very soon.  The challenge around reporting remains while that work is going on.

I use Geotab at work to track our commercial vehicle fleet, and it has greatly simplified tracking data, monitoring driver performance, and compiling data for returns. The customer service/help desk is incredibly helpful and really knows what they're doing. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, and Geotab is frequently upgraded to include better workflow and usability. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you like best about Geotab?**

Geotab Community - This has been a total game changer for me.  I've been able to ask questions and receive answers quickly.  If I forget something or don't know the answer it is easy to find so I can assist my managers and drivers.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

Reports - Geotab has many customers who I'm sure need the same type of reports and yet Geotab makes every customer start from zero for a report instead of being able to share from a list of reports already created in the system.  It would be great if there was a link administrators could access just like Geotab Community that would list all reports in the Geotab system so we can access premade reports.  Then it would be simple tweaking instead of trying to create something from nothing

Training - It is very hard to locate a current video for a Geotab Drive walk-through.  There used to be a link for Geotab Drive for the Geotab Academy but when it was updated 6 months ago or so they removed this part.  There is no easy way to pull up current training videos.  The training videos listed are not dated so when you think you found something you find out that it not current (format of system outdated from current format).

**What do you like best about Geotab?**

Geotab has the best telematics product on the market by a large margin. Their commitment to having the most robust, over engineered hardware and software design keeps paying dividends on how flexible and powerful the system is. Being able to add rules and reprocess data to apply those new rules to historic data along with the custom reporting functionality are two of the best examples of this.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

To be honest, the thing that I dislike the most about Geotab is their constant attempts to redesign things to make it simpler for low-engagement users, which is making it harder for high-engagement users to make use of Geotab's powerful features. A lot of these changes just feel like changes for the sake of change; the new Trip History page having the most recent trip at the top instead of at the bottom like the current page is a great example.

I'm a Geotab partner so I don't usually use it in the same way most users would but I personally use Geotab to keep track of the fuel usage and to schedule maintenance for my personal vehicle.

The ease with which one can familiarize themselves with the environment, the helpfulness when requesting support, the innovations in the telematics industry, and an excellent community always willing to assist and teach, whether by sharing platform information or their own experiences.

Someone recently entering this field might find it a bit complicated to understand certain terms or locate specific information. As support is only available in English, this could present some challenges for those who do not master the language.

While I haven't identified an issue within Geotab at the moment, we also can't ignore that there are currently many challenges in the industry, which we've managed to address so far.

What I appreciate most about Geotab is its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to navigate. Additionally, whenever I have questions, I can always find helpful answers in the community forum or from my local provider

I have been using this solution for several years, and I have found nothing to dislike about it. The platform receives regular updates, which I appreciate.

ELD compliance, pre-trip inspections, and asset tracking have each played a crucial role in our operations. Making use of the API enabled us to build a tailored solution that boosted our efficiency. In addition, Geotab’s integration with our maintenance software has further optimized and simplified our processes.

It was great for tracking hours, miles, and vehicle inspections.

Speed limits were often out of date for years, and updating them in the app was a lengthy process. This often caused me to drive at an unsafe slow speed on the highway or else I would get excessive speed violations.

Geotab offers one of the most customizable experiences for telematics. Although the learning curve to get started is steep once you begin to understand the intricacies of the software there is no limit in what you can do.

**What do you dislike about Geotab?**

Geotabs strength can also be its weakness. With an exhaustive list of data points and measurements it can be difficult to know what the system can do and how to implement it.

Geotab is instrumental in helping us determine our fleet utilization and letting us know what is the right size for our fleet.

The event was done very well. Got to know and meet everyone at geotab. Got the opportunity to meet with their sponsors and learn about the new technologies that are coming out within the next couple of years.

Nothing was really bad at the geotab connect event. There was one room where it got very humid and warm so it was a little uncomfortable to be in.

Distracted driving and how to advance the technology and improve it even more. This is benefiting me as it helped with my capstone research and design process.

My favorite part about geotab is their company atmosphere and values. They really care about their employees and customer which I find really admirable.

I can’t think of anything - everyone is so nice!

There was unfortunately no option for how I use Geotab since I work WITH Geotab and don’t necessarily use their products for what was listed. But, we are helping Geotab solve a unique problem that should benefit all of their customers, especially ones where driver privacy is protected by strict laws and unions.

Geotab is easy to use and easy to implement. Their customer support team is amazing, and some of the most helpful support I have dealt with to date. I use Geotab everyday and makes tracking our vehicles a breeze.

Some of the reports and report exporting features are a little clunky.

**What problems is Geotab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly keeping track of our construction crews. But recently, we had a vehicle stolen, and with the device installed we were easily able to recover it with minimal damage.

Geotab as many options in Marketplace are not focused on LATAM Market, which is a really big market, it should be nice having more native features that adress problema faced in LATAM, such as security issues.
