GeoMedia is a powerful, flexible GIS management platform that lets you aggregate data from a variety of sources and analyze them in unison to extract clear, actionable information. It provides simultaneous access to geospatial data in almost any form and displays it in a single unified map view for efficient processing, analysis, presentation, and sharing. GeoMedia’s functionality makes it ideal for extracting information from an array of dynamically changing data to support making informed, smarter decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I am working with big files, I can see how the software gets a bit slower or closes, so for me that is one of its disadvantages.
There is not enough documentations out there if I want to learn how to make better queries or more advanced ones, or information in general it is a software unknown to most people, and there is not enough resources online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I worked with GeoMedia for several years ago, it's a user-friendly software with full fill capabilities and tools to deal with vector and raster data. It also accet other data sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The digitization process is really intuitive, and faster than other GIS softwares, because I can edit several layers at the same time just by choosing them, this feature really saves time when I am working with big datasets.
The power of his queries is limitless, it allows me to create dynamic spatial relationships between vector datasets, and make edits based on those results.
The dynamic labels are other of my favorite features, because it helps me to make decisions when creating geometric entities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using Geomedia and OrthoPro for Orthophoto generation. The best advantage of Geomedia among other software is fast seamline generation. And also the option to edit seamlines in a GIS environment. This gives us the ability to create best looking orthophotos. We can compare GIS data with images and decide the features of final orthophoto. We can import other data sources and also export each and every intermediate data produced to use on different workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While using Geomedia, we are unable to impert GeoTIFF DEM models. Instead we are using LAS or DTM files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a Data analyst, customization is my priority. Geomedia gives me the best options to customise my analysis and even my sql queries. Also saveable queries and detailed visualization options are giving me the power to create great looking maps. Easy Raster management is another advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Data management is not user friendly. Going through many steps just for adding data to workspace is not good. CAD export is another flaw, most of the time exported CAD files are not the results I wanted so I use another software for CAD export. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
